I stayed at a room in West building. The room is aged with many stains (even the mattress had many strange stains on it), small holes, cracks, peelings etc... Wifi has no password protection, which is very bad in terms of the security. If you want a good room, make sure to book refurbished room BUT I believe the price is double or even higher which is not worth trying.
The service is very BAD. Its very manual and mechanical. Even not bother to listen to requests. Just deny and apologize.
The only good thing about this hotel is the natural hot spring public bath. Its large and clean and cozy.
Overall, I regret staying at here. 14,000JPY incl. brekfast is WAY TOO overpriced where there are cheaper and modern hotels nearby.
Service was nice, very polite and made me feel important ;) (FYI, not all Japan service are polite nowadays...).
And while I was bathing, an elderly was feeling unwell, and staff there took care of her very well.
