Hotels in center in Furano

Furano station is tiny and has no elevators, so be prepared to carry your luggage up and down a flight of stairs (twice!) – make sure you're well-fed for the task! [laughing emoji] And seriously, the seafood breakfast is amazing! The rice with salmon roe was delicious! 😋

Great location walking distance from furano station. Great onsen private room, free ice cream, probiotics drinks and late night ramen, breakfast. Love the hairdryer and skincare products provided in the onsen!

However, the private bath tends to be fully booked quite often, likely because the hotel was busy during my stay. It would be perfect if there were also a fitness center

The hotel is in a convenient location and easy to access. The room size is just right, not too small and not too big. The facilities are well provided, and both the public bath and private bath are very good

We spend more time in this hotel, enjoy the private hot spring (with shower, hair dryer & etc - complete accessories), after the hot spring go for a massage chair then follow by free ice cream

The hot springs are fantastic, especially the outdoor one on the rooftop – it's an amazing experience when it's snowing! The hotel is also conveniently located within walking distance from the train station

The hotel is very close to the ski resort, about a 15-minute drive away. It offers free parking and self-check-in. Its location right next to the JR station is excellent, with many restaurants within walking distance.

It is fantastic journey. Front desk has gave us a coupon to go to winery to get free bottle of wine. Perfect and front desk is very friendly can speak English.

The hotel is good location we can find so easy. This room is clean and check-in so easy. There is car parking So important for tourists

I don't think I will come back to this hotel. there's a weird smell in the corridor/ room & it's pretty dated inside. definitely not worth the price in my opinion. The sofa in the room has a huge stain too

It's also close to the station, so you don't have to walk too far when going out in winter. The hotel provides snow grips, which is quite fun for playing in the snow outside

The hotel location is good, only 8 minutes walk from Furano JR Station. Although the hotel facilities are old, but the room is clean and tidy, facilities inside bathroom work well also. Recommended for budget travellers

Good service and Good location

The hotel facilities are old, it is 15 minutes away from the station and 6 or 7 minutes away from the convenience store. The room is large, the amenities are ordinary, and the accommodation experience is average.

It was a very large room; albeit with older facilities. Comes with free parking and it's a good base to stay when you are looking for a stay within the town itself

Very clean, and the owner was great. The owner will drop people off yo ho skiing every day and provide bus coupons to return included in the price. We were there in winter and the rooms were cosy and warm

Tradition accommodation for this area, traditional rooms with tatami mats and hot tub available in the evenings first come first serve. The host is very friendly and available for recommendations

I had to bring my own towels for showering and mouthwash. There is a supermarket nearby. There are no restaurants nearby before 9 a. , and takeout is only available at the train station

The price is more economical, parking is convenient, there is a drink machine, and the boss is very nice. I arrived half an hour late that day, but the boss was waiting for me

He offers a lift to the ski resort daily and gives bus tickets for the ride home as well! Highly recommended

It is recommended to buy breakfast at the supermarket the day before

It was amazing traditional style of Japanese Minshuku! Compared to other hostel in Africa or Europe rated more than 8 star and the same price range for example, 100%  better than them and worth it to stay

I stayed at this B&B in Furano for three consecutive nights for skiing, and I found that many of the guests were foreigners, probably coming for skiing

The inn has its charm but the downstairs room can be slightly noisy because you can hear the neighbors when they are not respectful of others

Accommodation in the Furano area during the snow season tends to be tight and pricey, so their rates are quite affordable

With better neighbors there is no problem (it is indeed a noise problem due to other guests and not the hostel itself)

Private large room, enough amenities, kind owner, free  parking ! Big supermarket 5 min walk, Lawson is in front

The bus comes infrequently though, but if you miss it a taxi is like 800¥ which is still way less money than you’d spend on a place near the slopes so I’m fine with that! Rooms are nice and beds smell of pine which is fresh

Very good hostel for snowboarding. With facilities that suite for guests. Shuttle bus stop to ski area in front of the hostel. Very recommend

Furano truly lives up to its reputation as a ski haven, and Hostel Tomar is conveniently located in the city hall building. It's a popular choice for many skiers who prefer to stay in town

So instead of moping & bemoaning our bad luck we spent our time happily shopping for last minute souvenirs & scuppered our plans to explore further afield

For solo travelers, it's a clean and convenient option; drawing the curtains and wearing earplugs still allowed for a decent night's sleep

Perfect stay at Tomar :) the hostel is very clean and well-maintained and close proximity to Furano JR station. Highly recommended.
