2 star hotels in Furano

It was amazing traditional style of Japanese Minshuku! Compared to other hostel in Africa or Europe rated more than 8 star and the same price range for example, 100%  better than them and worth it to stay. Private large room, enough amenities, kind owner, free  parking ! Big supermarket 5 min walk, Lawson is in front.

Walked 18 minutes from the train station to the B&B, didn't realize the owner offered a shuttle service. Accommodation in the Furano area during the snow season tends to be tight and pricey, so their rates are quite affordable.

You can experience a Japanese-style tatami room. The owner is friendly. The facilities are old. However, it's acceptable for the price.

The facilities of the B&B are in line with the website. Although the equipment is a bit dated, it is generally kept clean. The host of the B&B is very enthusiastic and you can ask him for assistance if you need anything.

I found the accommodation is great value if you are solo traveler but don't want to stay in hostel. Free parking is a bonus and close to Lawson and Coop (supermarket) which is convenient. The downside is they don't have a communal kitchen and you have to ask owner for hot water which I found a little bit inconvenience.

I especially loved this guesthouse. It's a homestay run by a Chinese couple. It's very cozy, comfortable, and stylish, with excellent facilities. The pastoral scenery outside the window is beautiful. I will definitely come back next time.

This is a hotel run by a very kind couple. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is homemade bread and pudding, using local bread and milk, very fragrant and delicious! Such a wonderful place. Very clean, and the owner was great. The owner will drop people off yo ho skiing every day and provide bus coupons to return included in the price. We were there in winter and the rooms were cosy and warm.

The guest house is clean, traditional, tatami and the bed is futon. There 2 floor and on each floor have toilets, the downside is they only have 1 bathroom while there's quite number of rooms in the guest house. Luckily I came on winter, cannot imagine the queue for bathroom during summer :) but still, it's a nice place to stay

Tradition accommodation for this area, traditional rooms with tatami mats and hot tub available in the evenings first come first serve. The host is very friendly and available for recommendations. He offers a lift to the ski resort daily and gives bus tickets for the ride home as well! Highly recommended

There is a TV in the room, and the Japanese-style room is also large. There is only one room for bathing, so you have to wait for a long time when there are many people. There are supermarkets, new shopping malls and restaurants within a ten-minute walk.

Overall is excellence. I like dining room that have tea, coffee. But the breakfast need to improve since the portion is small. Moreover, I can not accept the rule about not allowing kid under 6 year to stay here.

Alright. Careful and available team

Cozy home with quirky decor and friendly staff. We stayed in the Dolphin room and did not hear any of the other guests. Laundry available for a fee, shared refrigerator. Staff was very attentive to us; they gave us fresh brewed coffee without our requesting it, like they were reading my mind! We don’t speak Japanese, and did just fine with the help of the hosts’ English.

Really beautiful property. Everything was super clean and in great condition. The bath is amazing and perfect for recovery after skiing all day! Jun made us amazing food for breakfast and lunch when we needed it, overall I would come again.

A very beautiful location that is unfortunately a bit too far away if you don't have a car. But the host is very friendly. Room is fine. The breakfast too. It might be useful to also make a dinner reservation. We had not done that and there is not much to be found in the area

For the price, unbeatable. Location right in front of the ski lift. Has everything you could need. Could slightly improve on cleanliness but once again, was much cheaper than other options in the area. We used the onsen just next door in the big hotel. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Don't expect too much from the conditions here. But the owner was very polite and provided free luggage storage after we checked out, which really helped us a lot (it would be difficult if we moved everything to the coin locker at the ski resort).

For the price charged ~3500 yen/pax/night, this stay deserves 5 star. No frills price means you don't get hotel services and amenities as everything seems to be run by the boss who will help you if you need something. i.e. hair dryer, new sheets. This place is a low budget pension and for what we paid in comparison to the prices of other accomodation in the area its good value for money. Right at the foot of the kitanomine ski fields. Furano truly lives up to its reputation as a ski haven, and Hostel Tomar is conveniently located in the city hall building. It's a popular choice for many skiers who prefer to stay in town. Though understand that this is a hostel but the sound proof really not good. Throughout the night kept hearing sounds from next room (like they knocked things to the wall). Other than that averagely fine.

Actually because of a hurricane, I can't check in the hotel. But will be back to another trip to Hokaido for next trip
