I have had holidays in many places in Japan. I understand what it's like when you settle for a night in a budget hotel. I still think the room in this one was incredibly small even for one person - I could barely move around and pick things up from my luggage. Not to mention the hot spring was unhygienic. I think there must be better ones even when you are on a budget. You would do well to look elsewhere.

The hot spring is a little small. Other than that, it's pretty standard.

A great stay, though it would be even better if the room had less cigarette smoke. It's also not far from many attractions, so you can easily visit most of them on foot during a day trip to Kushiro.

Excellent budget hotel. The room I got was small, but had a large and very comfortable bed. The room and bathroom were very clean.
Breakfast was included with my room, but note that it's only served until 8:30. I got down there around 8:20, by which point most of what was on offer had become either cold, soggy, or both. If you're enthusiastic about breakfast I recommend getting down there early.
Otherwise, no substantive complaints. I was very happy with my stay.

I stayed at Super Hotel Kushiro on 21 March 2025 (Room 403) and suffered a horrific bedbug infestation. I was bitten repeatedly throughout the night, leaving my entire body covered in painful, itchy welts. Even days later, I’m still experiencing discomfort. The room’s condition was unacceptable for any hotel, let alone a reputable chain. I’ve contacted management directly for a refund and resolution, but this experience has ruined my trust in their hygiene standards. Avoid until they address this issue—no guest should endure this.

The room is too small, with bunk beds. Three people stayed with a baby. There was no place to put the suitcases. That's it, just a one night stay.

Onsen is not nice as is shared among male and female at alternate times. But service and food is tiptop. The free flow bar is a nice touch up. Will totally recommended if you dont use the onsen🤭
