I had a very pleasant stay at 588 Guest House in Himeji. The location is excellent—very close to Himeji Station and within walking distance of Himeji Castle, which made exploring the city extremely easy.

Only stayed a night, but enjoyed the place. The beds in the dorm are pretty spacious, though the mattresses are rather thin. The hostel's layout encourages social interaction.

The living room, kitchen and other spaces on the first floor are large, fully equipped, and have very localized decorations. The accommodation area on the second floor is also unique. It is not the kind of industrial beds that are all the same. I like it very much. Most importantly the location is great! It is very close to Himeji Castle. You can go there anytime and see different views in the morning and evening.

It's close to Himeji Castle, with supermarket nearby. The facility is clean. The staff recommended walking around Himeji Castle during the night time, it was really nice and beautiful. Staffs are not always around, even drop luggage before check in should be done after 10am, so be aware of check in and check out time.

Hotel location: 5 points, very close to Himeji Castle, it seems to be a relatively safe place, put the backpack and suitcase here, I feel that I can feel different things in Himeji Castle here

A very good youth hostel. The front desk is very friendly and the explanations are very clear. It is located in Zuo Shopping Street, very close to Himeji Castle. It is only a five-minute walk away. There are many restaurants nearby. I will definitely stay here again!!!

I give 5star although its 12min walk away from station because its so near shops and castle. Service i also give 5star because they let me leave my luggage before check in time.. but be sure you be there before 10am. Its quite old place. Rooms at second floor. I like it they let me choose the empty space i wanted instead of assigning any bed to me..

The stay was very comfortable. The Japanese landlady was very nice and liked to chat. The atmosphere was nice.
