This was the biggest room I've ever stayed in Japan. It was fully equipped and clean, with a charming old-school vibe. The service was excellent, and Wakayama itself is a great place to explore. Highly recommend!

The staff were very friendly. Unfortunately, I couldn't sleep because of the strong smell of tobacco, and the springs in the mattress were sticking out. I asked to be moved to a non-smoking room, but all the other single rooms are for smokers.

This hotel is conveniently located just minutes away from the Wakayama train station. It has very good value for money. We stayed in a japanese style room. It had everything we needed and it was also pretty clean. Overall, I would happily stay here once more, if I ever were to go to Wakayama again

Hotel is located next to the train station in the city of Wakayama. I had a Japanese style room that it is bigger to accomodate 4 people and the room is clean. The breakfast is good that serves Japanese food. Overall it is good.

The room is old but clean. However, even though I had booked a non-smoking room and confirmed by phone that it was a non-smoking room, there was an ashtray in the drawer. There were also about two air fresheners, so it was clearly a smoking room.

I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, and the staff were incredibly helpful and the room was very clean! Cake and drinks were served on both the first and second days (maybe it depends on the plan...) and they were delicious!! I decided on this place on a whim, but I'm so glad I chose it! Honestly, this hotel only knows me and wants to keep using it at low prices. I like the size of the hotel's facilities and design rooms. The downside is that it is used as a love hotel. The biggest advantage is that there are karaoke rooms and massage chairs in the room, and the rooms and bathrooms are huge.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. This is a very traditional Japanese ryokan-style hotel. While it has been refurbished, it beautifully retains its classic charm, almost making you feel like you've stepped back into the 80s. The swimming pool, however, seemed to be abandoned. It's a wonderful place to watch the sunset and experience the peaceful Japanese way of life.

I stayed here with a friend while sightseeing in Wakayama. It was about 10 minutes from Wakayama Station, so it was very easy to find, and there was a convenience store nearby, which made it convenient. The place was spacious and comfortable, so next time I'd like to stay multiple nights with a large group and go to the beach. The staff were all kind and comfortable!
