BK Hotel & Weekly in Wakayama

I thought I had a reservation, but when I arrived, it turned out I hadn't. Despite this, they responded immediately.
What's more, all the staff were like mothers, which was very comforting. There was a washing machine, so I was able to do the laundry that had piled up during my trip. They even provided detergent and fabric softener.
They also lent me plenty of hangers.
The location was great, so I was able to walk around and try different things.
The kids were delighted with the room with a loft. I was so curious about the owner that I became quite interested in the karaoke that was available at night.

I stayed here with a friend while sightseeing in Wakayama. It was about 10 minutes from Wakayama Station, so it was very easy to find, and there was a convenience store nearby, which made it convenient. The place was spacious and comfortable, so next time I'd like to stay multiple nights with a large group and go to the beach. The staff were all kind and comfortable!

I was looking for pet-friendly accommodation and found this place. My pet is a budgie, and they allowed it to stay for free.

The location is excellent, just two bus stops from JR Wakayama Station or about a 10-minute walk.

The D-type room I stayed in was perfect for a solo stay, equipped with a large wall-mounted TV, a spacious single bed, a refrigerator, microwave, and electric kettle.

There's a kitchen where you can cook, but large pots, pans, and a rice cooker are available for a fee. (Small pots and dishes are free.)

There's a washing machine in the bathroom, and hangers and clothespins are provided, so you can do laundry anytime, and clothes dry sufficiently indoors. There are also hooks specifically for clothespins in the bathroom, convenient for drying small items.

The bathroom has a large bathtub, allowing you to stretch out and relax comfortably. It's truly wonderful. The toilet is separate and has a bidet, making it very comfortable.

The accommodation fee is very reasonable, which is greatly appreciated.

The staff who come out to the front desk also clean the rooms and facilities, so we call them via the internal phone. Many of them are very kind, so we don't have to worry about anything extra, making our stay very comfortable.

They even accepted our reservation for the New Year's holiday, and we brought our own pot and enjoyed a hot pot meal. We were also able to watch the Kohaku Uta Gassen (New Year's Eve music show) on the big screen, and since this was our third stay, our pet bird seemed completely at ease.

Even on the day we were leaving, our bird refused to go back into its cage, as if to say, "I want to stay longer."

I guess it liked the warm room. ☺️

There are also many delicious restaurants near the station (including my favorite Jankara karaoke place! 🤭), so I'm looking forward to coming back to this hotel. 😊
