Brilliant location on Kamakura beach. Very friendly staff, and nice and clean, fantastic view from the room.

Kamakura park hotel is a seaside hotel.

This is a pleasant hotel, right by the beach. My room was clean and comfortable with a view of the water. There was a person at the front desk who spoke English well and helped me make a dinner reservation. They took guests’ temperature each day.

Enjoyed the delicious crab lunch "Kaiseki Ryori" course set in the Japanese restaurant, Wa Minamoto, in this hotel. Reasonable price. Good service. The hotel is quite far away from the either Hase Station or Inamuragasaki Station.

We loved the range of breakfast items available. Very close to the station, shops and many restaurants. we were able to check our bags in first thing in the morning for free.

i think the hotel location is excellent! it provide shuttle bus to nearest train station - where it takes you to everywhere. However, there are some bad smell with the hallway, and also the room. probably it came from the air-conditions. Luckily, they provided air-dehuminfier.

This place is absolutely fantastic! The location is perfect, and the service is top-notch. You can even see the Fuji mountain from your room, and the views of the sea are breathtaking. Oh, and walking to the train station is a great idea.

I am from Jersey, a place known for surfing and beach culture, and Fujisawa has a similar vibe with 8 hotel capturing it perfectly without going over the top, it felt like home.

Stylish hotel in convenient location, easy to get to enoshima. Pretty clean & tidy with lovely western style breakfast. The only downside is the room has a funny smell.

There are fluctuations in prices, but Corona can't help it. By the way, I made a reservation with the early discount 30-day plan, but the last-minute discount was 1,000 yen cheaper. It's possible to cancel and get it back, but I've left it as it's a hassle. If you are staying at Shonandai, the location is number one.

A bit small room, maybe just enough for Japanese persons. Location is perfect. Good bar in front of this hotel. And also many restaurants and convinience stores are available. They give us so many kind of amenities, shampoos ,body soap ,conditioner ,bath salts , foot massage things..., which are really healpful and good hospitality. Also free coffee is available .

There is a chance that the room faces the sea, but the one I got is facing the station. The service staff are very enthusiastic and polite The air conditioner drips, and there is some mold in the gaps between the toilet tiles. Probably like this

Older style decor but great place for the family. Must try the pool with its fantastic view of Mount Fuji and the coast stretching both ways from there, sun setting behind. We also enjoyed the public bath area and a really tasty Japanese style wedding celebration banquet there. So satisfied!

This was a nice place to stay that included a japanese dinner and breakfast. There was a minor problem with the dinner and the staff was very prompt to help. They gave a small discount and gift for the inconvenience but all in all a decent place to stay. Be aware that this is a SMOKING establishment. It’s not clear on trip advisor and other places but you can smell smoke in the elevators and hallways. There is a restaurant selling one of the must-try food when you come to Enoshima, Shirasu-don, on the first floor of this hotel. Maybe not the best in the area, but the price is reasonable and drink is free if you order a set.

The staff were so attentive. We went here for our honeymoon stay and felt very looked after. The breakfast was just the perfect amount, the tea was smooth and delicate. A 2-minute walk from Kamakura Station, it is close enough to see from the station. Excellent atmosphere from the entrance. The bath attached to the room is wonderful. The sauna was really great, but I was worried that it wasn't visible from the outside like other reviews said. The drink in the sauna is gyokuro tea, which I really wanted to sell in the hotel. Nice and functional interior with everything one needs - we really liked the style and the simplicity. Perfect location to explore Kamakura, famous elements of the city are nearby and you can walk everywhere (to restaurants, shopping street, shrines, conbinis etc) Overall we would come again as it is a really cool place to stay some nights. Underwhelming for the price. You're paying for a great location but Kamakura is a ghost town after 6PM so is it worth it? The New Kamakura Hotel gives you the experience of 1900s Japan in terms of furniture and ambience as well as the choice of Western or Japanese style rooms. I have stayed in this hotel with my family. Hotel location was great, Fujisawa railway station was very near by. Food, especially breaskfast was good. Only issue with the language, took more time to complete the check in process. Rooms were compact and small as usual in Japan but it has all required facilities.

I stayed for three nights. The room are very clean. Staff is very helpful even when my Japanese language is very very limited. Moring breakfast is very good only with a limited service. Transportation is very good with the train and bus station within walking distance. I would stay again as the price is right for me. Join the toyoko club as it will help on your stay.

It's new hotel of Toyoko-inn. It takes about 3 min from Fujisawa station. The staff is very kind but they can speak Japanese only. The internal facilities are almost new and window opens only a little upward but outside view is some stark. They serve breakfast but only toast and coffee are not bad. It's small but convenient inn. Staffs are generous. It has almost everything: Internet, TV on demand (with extra costs). It's very near Shonandai Station, banks, and convenient stores, supermarket so you can easily travel for other place or buy something you need. It's quite quiet by good for relax. location 5 minute walk from fujisawa station, elevators or escalators where needed. summit food store near by with little dining area. big camera for all electronic needs. selection of trains to tokyo, yokohama, enoshima, odawara etc. while this is very much an urban area, none of the hustle and bustle of central yokohama or tokyo.
