Every time I stay, I have a very pleasant experience. I also look forward to the breakfast.
Excellent hotel for travelers. Storage lockers in an easy to get to location when you get there early or when you check out and want to keep exploring the city. Rooms are clean. Beds are comfy. The breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The breakfast ladies really do an excellent job! The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Great hotel.
The self-check-in process was incredibly convenient, as there was no need to interact with any staff. The laundry room was a huge bonus, especially after sweating through the summer and ending up with a pile of dirty clothes. The location is excellent, being very close to the station. It's also great that most of the surrounding restaurants are open until 2 AM! I even managed to visit the 'Qilixiang...
The room, though compact, was well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The bathroom facilities showed impressive attention to detail. I also appreciated the hotel's focus on environmental protection. The service was warm, polite, and attentive, and a good variety of toiletries were provided.

Takasaki is an interchange for my Kusatsu & Gala Yuzawa trip. Conveniently located, 5min walk from train station. Speedy check in & out.
Clean, good price, parking onsite, quiet rooms. Perfect for the price you pay
Great location and overall a good stay. I would consider staying again. However, the soundproofing was very poor. I could clearly hear noise from the hallway and the neighboring room, including an alarm that rang for a long time early in the morning. Clean room, good location room size was fine.
Very kind front desk, very accommodating. They deserve a raise!
Toyoko Inn Maebashi Ekimae offers excellent value for money, especially for travellers seeking convenience and comfort near the station. Its proximity to Maebashi Station makes it an ideal choice for those relying on public transportation.
good hotel, very clean and comfortabel
I noticed there is no toothbrush in the room late at night and I hurried to the first floor to get it.

We love this hotel for its convenience and location. It is a perfect stop over, located across a mall and supermarket. Rooms are clean and neat. Check in is above the station mall. Hotel do not offer parking but there are many overnight parking around the hotel.
super convenient. Reasonable distance to Echigo Yuzawa A good option to stay for skiing with better and more reasonable price than staying at crowded Echigo Yuzawa
Convenient location next to the train station makes it a good stop point traveling by train to yuzuwa or karuizawa Hotel is typical Japan city hotel which is small and feel s bit old
Clean,Comfortable and reasonably priced
I loved the hotel's location, service, and cleanliness, but parking was a bit inconvenient. Parking was limited to two cars, and parking was available about five minutes away.
The kids had a blast watching the trains from the window. We had a great time. The room had a combined bathroom and washroom, but it was spacious and great.

The room was really small but good thing we just needed a place to sleep because we were out during the day. Very close to the station and my husband and I enjoyed the onsen. Breakfast buffet was good with a lot of options though it is the same for the 2 nights we stayed.
I went during the middle day of a three-day weekend. It was relatively affordable compared to other hotels, so I chose it as a base for sightseeing in Gunma. As an APA member, the 11:00 AM checkout is a nice perk. The room was on the small side, typical for APA, but personally, I really loved the bath. It was a rare natural hot spring for APA, and the water temperature was just right. The sauna was...
It's an APA Hotel, complete with the small, though efficient room, and a nice breakfast buffet offering (for a small fee). The true benefit of this particular APA, though, is its location directly adjacent to the Takasaki JR Rail station. Within an easy short walk from the front door of the rail station, this APA has everything I needed for a first night in Japan for my 2025 Japan trip. I loved...
I stayed one night while on vacation & enjoyed it :) Room was especially compact, but also laid out more thoughtfully than most. What I liked most, compared with other hotels, was the TV software—when I came in the room, it was already on in English, with a home screen showing a little video how to wear yukata, bath crowdedness meter, and other facility info. It's a welcoming touch, and I really...

Convenient location. Free onsen is a plus. Outdated ambience of the room was a little downside.

Nice location which close to Takasaki Station. Hotel with great breakfast services, onsen and amenities is provided. Drink session is until 12.30am and you can enjoy even u are thirsty. Highly recommended.
Breakfast and drink bar are excellent. You can relax in the large public bath and feel like you're in a hot spring.
There's a women-only floor with automatic sanitary napkin vending machines. The rooms also provide face masks, eye masks, and more – so thoughtful! I'd definitely stay here again!
There is a large public bath, but it was smaller than it appears in the photos. I went at a less crowded time, so I had the place almost to myself and was able to relax. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options, and the menu changed slightly over the two days, which was delicious. When there were many guests, it took a while to replenish the food when it was running low. The petit cakes,...
Although the room is small, it's a good choice for short-distance accommodation. It's close to the station, making it a good option for dining and shopping. Plus, with only two beds in one room, you can save some travel expenses.
The price was reasonable, the amenities were all there, and the kids enjoyed the free snack shop and drink bar. The ladies received a DHC gift set, and the kids received a toy. I'd definitely stay at this hotel again if I visit Takasaki.

nice hotel for my trip , stay next time
Stayed at Comfort Hotel Maebashi for a short trip. The room was warm and cozy, though a bit small — similar to most hotels in Japan. However, I was pleasantly surprised that the toilet felt more spacious compared to other hotels. Overall, a comfortable stay with everything you need. Would definitely consider staying here again!

A hot spring-style bath (onsen) is terrific. It helped me relax after the long international trip from the U.S. (Boston). The breakfast is just gorgeous. Both Western and Japanese-style food are delightful, especially for Westerners. Since most clients are male Japanese businessmen, you get to see the non-touristy, "real" side of Japan.
The facilities are outstanding, customer service is excellent.
recently stayed at the Route Inn Takasaki Hotel, and it was a delightful experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making check-in a breeze. This hotel truly excels in hospitality. The first time I stayed, I was woken up by a midnight announcement around 4 a.m. (a false fire alarm) and had a terrible experience. But since the hotel right across the street was fully booked, I ended up returning. Personally, I obviously don't have a good impression of it, but it has a small number of rooms and the service is attentive.

The room is spacious and the bed and pillows are great. It's hard to find on Google Maps. The shower is also excellent. The hairdryer is also excellent.
The office is on the lower floors, and the hotel is on the higher floors. The elevators are fast and stress-free. The front desk staff are polite and always smiling. On the day, I reserved a parking space next door, which is easy to park in, and it was a reasonable 1,000 yen per night. Excellent location, straight to -from takasaki station. The elevator is on 1&2 floor , just go into the middle of the building. Very easy access. The hotel is 10-12 floor, lobby on 10th.
I went there by motorcycle, but the parking lot 🅿️ was passed around from one place to another. I don't recommend going by motorcycle. 🅿️ I eventually found a spot, but it cost me 1,200 yen. It's the worst ⤵️

This is the most recommended city hotel in Takasaki. There's a convenience store right next door, plenty of restaurants nearby, a large public bath, five free massage chairs, and more. My only request: a Qi-compatible wireless charger. I arrived empty-handed due to a sudden errand, so while I was able to borrow a charger for my iPhone and iPad at the front desk, I couldn't charge my Apple Watch.
I stayed there on a weekday. It was a bit of a walk from the station, passing other business hotels along the way. I booked a non-smoking single room. The room was average size and clean, and it was nice. I could check the public bath's occupancy status from my room. Maybe it was just a coincidence? I had it all to myself. I think the shower had the trendy nanobubble shower (sorry if I'm wrong). I...
I usually stay at hotels near the station, but the price had almost doubled, so I tried this hotel for the first time. First of all, the room was very spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast buffet was of a higher grade than I expected, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I like large public baths, so I try to choose hotels with them whenever possible. This hotel was very clean...
We stayed in Takasaki after canyoning in Minakami on our vacation. The hotel room felt a bit small as we had 4 people and had to get 2 rooms. The beds were just big enough for 2 people. We had a wonderful traditional Japanese breakfast. We didn't have time to try the public bath.
The restaurant has been renovated and opened for breakfast. There is no clock in the restaurant. Breakfast curry is shabashaba. Other than that, it is a comfortable and good hotel. It sounds like a mysterious rattling sound. ..
A cover that does not allow you to see the back of the washbasin from the bathtub is good! Of a single room It would be convenient if there was an outlet at the bedside I wonder if you can change the unused one-sided switch to an outlet.

Great place. Nice location near the station. There is a combini next door. Great onsen
It's about a 15-minute walk from the JR station, but it's still quite convenient. They offer amenities like a washing machine, ramen, and an onsen. I found the hotel to be a bit small, but the staff communicated well. During my stay, there was an earthquake! I heard strange noises all night, like a persistent alarm, and even thought someone was under the bed. I finally managed to fall asleep at 2 AM
It was spotlessly clean, the location was great, and there was absolutely nothing to fault. I was disappointed not to be able to try the complimentary late-night ramen, but I'll definitely make sure to try it on my next visit.
The air conditioning unit was a little loud, but other than that, it was very comfortable and helped me recover from my trip. I'd definitely like to stay again if I have the chance.
The hotel's 10th floor features a public bath with both indoor and outdoor pools. Complimentary ice cream bars are available at the bath entrance, and Yakult is offered in the morning. In the evenings, guests can enjoy free ramen, served until 11 PM.
I booked a Corner Double Room. The room itself was a decent size. However, the communal bathing area wasn't very spacious, with only about 5-6 washing stations and 3 spots for drying hair, which could make it quite crowded during busy periods. The hotel provides parking, and there are also partner parking lots available on both sides of the hotel. All parking options cost 1200 yen per day. However...

My favorite hotel in Takasaki. Everything is great every time. Delicious breakfast, wonderful onsen, and a convenient location.
This hotel was so great! Its service, cleanliness, rooms etc, everything is about a comfort stay. It also has delicious breakfasts and onsen with 2 baths, one is outside — just what I was looking for.
Just as the reviews said, it was really wonderful! I live in Takasaki and stayed here. The attention to detail, including the cosmetics, was wonderful, and I was very satisfied with the service. I'll use it again and recommend it.
It was very comfortable. I want to go again!
Beautiful ofuro/onsen. Were very helpful, held our bag both before and after checking in/out. Breakfast hD good selection for both western and Japanese.
The price is much higher than other hotels in the area, but I don't think it's particularly good. There is a mobile massage chair in the room, which is pretty good. There are free skin care samples at the front desk, and there is a bath room on the 10th floor. Overall average, low cost performance

This was my first time staying here. I had no particular complaints. I wish the room was a little larger, though.
The breakfast was delicious, but the elevators were crowded during breakfast and check-out times. On busy days, you may have to wait for the elevator to load multiple times, so make sure you allow plenty of time.
The dining area at Chuo-Maebashi Station is a 10-minute walk away. The breakfast staff were extremely welcoming and the atmosphere was great, with a focus on Japanese cuisine. I was able to relax in the clean large public bath.

It's close to the center of Maebashi City and free parking was very helpful. Amenities are available near the front desk. The free breakfast was minimal, but they apparently provide light meals in the evening. There was a coffee machine next to the front desk, which I could drink for free.
I was surprised at how spacious the hotel was.
I stayed in a Japanese-style room again, where I had stayed before. When I last stayed, the water in the bath backed up and flooded the bathroom floor, so I was wondering whether to fill the bathtub this time, but I couldn't resist the cold, so I filled the bathtub and adjusted the flow with my feet to make it flow little by little. Even when I let the water flow all at once, it didn't backflow, so...
I hadn't used the hotel for over a year, but when I returned for work, I mentioned to the woman at the front desk, who has been there for a while, that I wanted to borrow a blanket. She said, "We'll deliver the blanket to your room. Also, the pillow you usually use has fallen out, so I can't lend it to you. Is that okay?" and remembered me! I was really surprised and happy, even though I hadn't used...
This hotel has quite a long history in Maebashi. It was previously positioned as a luxury hotel in Maebashi, so it's not originally a business hotel, and the overall design is excellent. The room was bigger than expected and very cost-effective. The bathroom was the largest I've ever stayed in Japan, very Japanese style.
Stayed here twice now whilst on business in the Maebashi area. Good service, rooms and breakfast. Will definitely choose to stay here again when in the area.
Loved the location near Shin Maebashi train Station and walking distance to a little shopping area with restaurants and a grocery store.

This was an excellent hotel at a great value. The staff was very helpful and kind and took care of us very well. This was the first time to be in the prefecture, and only the second hotel we stayed in, but it was a great experience because of the staff. Thank you.
I thought the amenities were very good, with unlimited ice available in the shared space and mouthwash provided.
The building was old and scary. I was so scared that I couldn't sleep with the lights off. The room key had a button in the middle of the door that you had to press, which made me feel very uneasy.
Since there are no restaurants or convenience stores near the hotel, I chose to dine in the hotel restaurant, which was delicious and not expensive. The rooms are clean and comfortable and very cost-effective.

A few people stayed there. It was an old facility, but it seemed well-cleaned. However, some members said they couldn't sleep because the room smelled like urine.
It was a non-smoking room, so there was no smell, and the room was very clean. The washing machine and gas dryer were available at a reasonable price, but the dryer was a bit quirky; it was fixed at 20 minutes (no time extensions allowed) and the cooling cycle had to be stopped at the start. It's easy to use once you get used to it. The staff were very helpful, and I would like to stay at this hotel...

Everyone at the hotel was very pleasant. The shower temperature was difficult to adjust and the facilities were not new, but it was clean so it was not a problem. Thank you very much.
Staff are friendly and helpfull, always smile to guest. Rooms have good view to river near by. Can walk down to river path. Breakfast is a set for 01 person, not buffet
The front desk facilities are new, but the room facilities are old.
This is a hotel where football players often stay. Although it is relatively old, it looks very warm from the lobby. The hotel staff are also friendly and there is an old man who speaks English very well. But there are few places to eat in the surrounding area. Fortunately, there are delicious bento boxes sold on the first floor. The Chinese food on 7f is said to be delicious
