We stayed in Takasaki after canyoning in Minakami on our vacation. The hotel room felt a bit small as we had 4 people and had to get 2 rooms. The beds were just big enough for 2 people. We had a wonderful traditional Japanese breakfast. We didn't have time to try the public bath.

This is the most recommended city hotel in Takasaki. There's a convenience store right next door, plenty of restaurants nearby, a large public bath, five free massage chairs, and more. My only request: a Qi-compatible wireless charger. I arrived empty-handed due to a sudden errand, so while I was able to borrow a charger for my iPhone and iPad at the front desk, I couldn't charge my Apple Watch.

I stayed there on a weekday. It was a bit of a walk from the station, passing other business hotels along the way. I booked a non-smoking single room. The room was average size and clean, and it was nice. I could check the public bath's occupancy status from my room. Maybe it was just a coincidence? I had it all to myself. I think the shower had the trendy nanobubble shower (sorry if I'm wrong). I also used the lotion and milky lotion without hesitation.

Breakfast was included, so it was a generous buffet-style meal. It was delicious.

I usually stay at hotels near the station, but the price had almost doubled, so I tried this hotel for the first time.
First of all, the room was very spacious, and the bed was very comfortable.
The complimentary breakfast buffet was of a higher grade than I expected, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I like large public baths, so I try to choose hotels with them whenever possible.
This hotel was very clean, the water temperature was just right, and it was easy to use.

It was a bit of a walk from the station, but if the weather isn't too hot, it's a comfortable distance to walk.

Overall, I was more than satisfied with the price.

The room and hallway smelled a little bit of smoke, but the service, cleanliness, hot spring and nearby okonomiyaki restaurant is tops!

The restaurant has been renovated and opened for breakfast. There is no clock in the restaurant. Breakfast curry is shabashaba.
Other than that, it is a comfortable and good hotel.
It sounds like a mysterious rattling sound. ..

A cover that does not allow you to see the back of the washbasin from the bathtub is good!
Of a single room
It would be convenient if there was an outlet at the bedside
I wonder if you can change the unused one-sided switch to an outlet.

It is about a 10-minute walk from Takasaki Station. The parking lot is not very large, and when it is full, it is necessary to park at a nearby affiliated parking lot.
There is a 7-Eleven next to the hotel, so it's convenient for a little shopping.

Perhaps the wall is so thin, I can hear the voice of the next person surprisingly. I'm sorry. Uncomfortable.
As others say, the sound of plumbing or something is frequent and annoying.

There are two elevators that move up and down, and the stairs are for emergency use only.

The day I stayed may have been bad, but the restaurant and public bath were under renovation on the 2nd floor and could not be used.
The TV information in the room is the same, and there is no explanation at check-in, so I don't feel motivated.

Check-in takes time in the first place, and there are lines in the evening. People who stay for consecutive nights will have to wait for it to go smoothly if they divide it, which is also stressful. Acrylic boards are no longer a staple, but they are still hard to hear.

It seems that other people's rooms usually had fluorescent lights, but my room had only indirect lighting and only dim incandescent light bulbs, so I decided to go to the amenity room on the 2nd floor to rent a stand light. It's off limits, and the location is different from the guide.
Please guide me properly!
Wi-Fi was too bad and I turned it off due to stress.

I have the impression that the employees, including foreigners, are decent, but it was not easy to explain whether they were busy or not.
The parking fee is charged for the number of nights, and the receipt is requested along with the payment, but the face ends silently.
If you urge them, they will be handed over at check-out.
No, then say so!

I don't have a restaurant, so I have a nice lunch for breakfast ¥ 500
