A great hotel for a relaxing family vacation. It's in a clean, quiet location. The sand baths are especially worth a mention – something unusual and fun! The staff is polite and welcoming. I want to come back again and again!
Overall, I was satisfied. However, the dinner was a little disappointing for the lowest grade. I was able to experience the sand bath regardless of the weather, which was a great experience.
This is a beachfront resort where you can experience a sand bath right inside the hotel – quite a unique experience. Just outside, you can take a stroll along the sandy beach, and the scenery is beautiful.
The food was delicious and the private bath was great!
You could see the stars beautifully. I'd love to use it again!
The hotel boasts a superb location, with most rooms offering beautiful sea views. The staff provided outstanding service and were proficient in both Japanese and English. Both breakfast and dinner were plentiful and delicious. Highly recommended!
Perfect value for money! Be sure to book a Japanese-style room to truly experience the authentic hot spring ryokan atmosphere. Beyond the standard onsen baths, they also offer hot sand baths. Delicious breakfasts are served (with a large buffet), and the luxurious kaiseki dinners are also complemented by a buffet. We would gladly return to this hotel.

It's about a 10-minute walk from the station. While a bit out of the way, it's a great value hotel for a quiet retreat while enjoying the hot springs. If you need to buy something, there are two convenience stores within a 10-minute walk.
The room was amazing, especially the large tatami area with Sakurajima just outside the window. The large public bath on the top floor also faces Sakurajima. There's also a semi-open-air onsen on the first floor, and the atmosphere is just as wonderful. I really wanted to stay there all day without going out.
The hotel offers a shuttle bus to the "Saraku" sand steam room, but reservations are required...
The front desk staff were very helpful and kind in providing tourist information. The food was delicious. The black pork shabu-shabu was especially sweet and delicious.
This hotel isn't located near Ibusuki Station, but two stops away at Miyahama Station.
Miyahama Station is quite charming (see picture 3). It's about a 10-minute walk from Miyahama Station to the hotel (you can arrange a pick-up service from the station if you contact the hotel in advance; we didn't have much luggage).
We encountered beautiful scenery on the way to the hotel!
And a train passed by...
The waiter was very polite and attentive and explained in detail how to eat each dish.
Hot spring hotel, the restaurant is very good, the waiters carefully introduce each dish, it is delicious, the room has a beautiful sea view, the room is large and clean, the hotel also has bicycles for rent.

We had a relaxing and comfortable stay on your hotel, the room is clean and very comfortable. The staff is foreigner but they are all so polite and approachable. Tha sand bath is also good. The phoenix tree and the garden is very well maintained and clean. We propably recommend this hotel. Hoping for our next visit soon😊
I saw online that this hotel offered a free sand bath voucher, but it didn't. It cost 1,500 yen per person. The front desk staff were all Indian. Our Japanese-style room didn't include bed-making services; we had to make our own, and we found instructions online. We didn't choose dinner; the photos didn't make it appealing. We went for Kagoshima Kuroge Wagyu BBQ instead. Ibusuki is a cheap and delicious...
It was great to be able to have a sand bath here rather than needing to go out to another facilities. The onsen wasn't much, but ok.
Nice welcome biscuits.
Car park was easily available.
Nice seaview from the room.
Also good to have extra toilets outside our bedroom.
The building is old, and the smell in the lobby and rooms bothered me a bit.
The price was reasonable, and I was traveling alone, so I thought it would be fine, but...
I definitely wouldn't want to stay here again...
A bit old but clean room. Staff is not good in English. The sand onsen is attached in hotel which is convenient. Yet, the sand is not hot enough.
A hot spring hotel near the sea, a ten-story Japanese-style sea view room, with an unobstructed sea view outside the window, the scenery is very good. I gave you a sand bath coupon for the hotel's own sand bath hot spring, so you don't even have to go to the Sand Le Hall.
The specialty of Ibusuki is the sand bath. You can’t take pictures, so just use the pictures on the official website to take a look...
