The sand bath was amazing! The building is currently undergoing repairs after typhoon damage, so it's a little old, but the food was amazing and delicious! The views of the high-speed ferry arriving and the sunset from the large public bath and our room were beautiful. I'd love to stay here again.

While their service is good enough, their facities such as building, rooms, etc are old fashioned and outdated. The location is okay if you have a car.

It's a shame there aren't any restaurants nearby

Sunrise and sunset are very beautiful because you can take pictures at the beach. The room is on the 4th floor, and there are vending machines and ice machines on the floor (as well as beer vending machines). I stayed in a beachfront room (tatami room). The overall style is retro. It is suitable for those who like retro-style hotels. There are also sand baths and large baths where you can take a dip...

The outside was a little old, but the inside was really nice. The room was spacious and the amenities were good. Dinner was delicious and I plan to visit again.

The location is convenient and the environment is comfortable.

Ibusuki Kaijyo Hotel

It was located further out of the Ibusuki hot spring area than I thought, but if you time it right, it was a 5-minute bus ride or taxi ride from the station, so it wasn't too inconvenient. The guest room was spacious and spacious enough for a single person. The large bath and breakfast restaurant were well-equipped, and the breakfast menu had a variety of menus and was delicious.

A very cost-effective experience. The surrounding scenery is beautiful and the breakfast is great! The hotel's hot springs and services are very good. The key is that it is not far from the station. But now it is off-season and the whole town is deserted.

The welcome drink, mini concert, and location were all great. Dinner and breakfast were delicious ☺️ I'd love to go again.

rather old hotel. we came during the low season so not so crowded but most restaurants outside the hotel were closed for business. there is only one onsen pool indoor (no outdoor). the fun part was the sand bath for experience @¥1500/pax. Ocean facing room is nice.

The hotel is clean, though it is a bit far from the city center. The spa facilities are nice, and the staff is friendly.

The best hotel in Ibusuki! 5 minutes by taxi from Ibusuki Station? It costs 1200 yen. The facilities are luxurious and friendly, and the kaiseki dinner and breakfast were both perfect, and the open-air bath was perfect!

Their service is excellent as they assign a staff to follow through your stay there. She will manage your meal and room cleaning schedule and bowed to bye you when your leave. There is sand bath at ¥1500.

The hospitality upon arriving at the inn was great, and the food was absolutely delicious! I was very satisfied with the delicious meals I was able to eat both in the evening and in the morning! The sand bath was also just a 3-minute walk away!

I was very grateful that they were able to accommodate my last-minute request about my child's likes and dislikes. The service staff were also highly skilled, making for a very comfortable stay. (Thank you, Kazuko ❤️) However, while this is understandable given the size and location of the inn, I was disappointed that the open-air bath only offered a view of the sky.

The room was clean and the food was delicious! The sand bath near the inn was also a very memorable experience.

The staff training for the staff seems to be thorough, and I was very satisfied with my stay as it was a comfortable one.

It’s a fantastic hotel with hot spring, the staffs are friendly and helpful. The boss is nice and very kind. The hotel are full of Japanese traditional culture and decorations. If you go, must join their dinner set. It’s wonderful and yummy

The views are absolutely unbeatable, and the location is super convenient. Right next door is a local specialty, the sand bath, and you can buy tickets directly at the hotel – definitely give it a try! You *must* watch the sunrise from the open-air bath on the top floor; it's stunning, despite how incredibly cold it gets. Breakfast was plentiful, but the service felt a bit too procedural and standard...

The hotel room was incredibly spacious, a pleasant surprise with its indoor pool! The accompanying hot spring, facing the ocean, was so relaxing, and the kaiseki dinner included with the room was truly authentic.

The ocean view room had a great view of the ocean. The room had an open-air bath and a great atmosphere.

This resort is definitely overrated! The resort seriously need a major overhaul. The room we stayed was so old & aged, I am pretty sure they have not done any upgrade in the past few decades 👎! Excellent ryokan hotel with excellent service, amenities and food. The outdoor/ indoor public baths (onsens) are one of the biggest and most amazing I have ever seen. Although there are many rooms and guests, the service is unparalleled so you don’t experience long queues anywhere. There is a museum in the hotel compound if you are bored!

A nice and comfortable hotel. The hotel should inform this booking website about dinner option and allow customers to choose between Italian or Japanese cuisine.
