Stayed a second night and were moved to an older part of hotel. Not a problem, room was spacious and comfortable with a great view. Would stay again if in the area. Recommended

It is a little far from Ibusuki Station. Guests staying at Kokoro no Yado can use the neighboring Kokoro no Yu baths as many times as they like, but the baths are open until 10pm, so I thought the bath times were shorter than at other hot spring inns. Although the staff spoke very little English, they were all polite and the food was very nice. The water temperature and pressure was great and the room was clean. There we some Pokémon manhole covers all around Ibusuki which was a fun surprise.

It was comfortable. I would definitely stay again if there is an opportunity.

It was located further out of the Ibusuki hot spring area than I thought, but if you time it right, it was a 5-minute bus ride or taxi ride from the station, so it wasn't too inconvenient. The guest room was spacious and spacious enough for a single person. The large bath and breakfast restaurant were well-equipped, and the breakfast menu had a variety of menus and was delicious.

rather old hotel. we came during the low season so not so crowded but most restaurants outside the hotel were closed for business. there is only one onsen pool indoor (no outdoor). the fun part was the sand bath for experience @¥1500/pax. Ocean facing room is nice.

The hotel is clean, though it is a bit far from the city center. The spa facilities are nice, and the staff is friendly.

We had a relaxing and comfortable stay on your hotel, the room is clean and very comfortable. The staff is foreigner but they are all so polite and approachable. Tha sand bath is also good. The phoenix tree and the garden is very well maintained and clean. We propably recommend this hotel. Hoping for our next visit soon😊

I saw online that this hotel offered a free sand bath voucher, but it didn't. It cost 1,500 yen per person. The front desk staff were all Indian. It was great to be able to have a sand bath here rather than needing to go out to another facilities. The onsen wasn't much, but ok. Nice welcome biscuits. Car park was easily available. Nice seaview from the room. Also good to have extra toilets outside our bedroom.

The hospitality upon arriving at the inn was great, and the food was absolutely delicious! I was very satisfied with the delicious meals I was able to eat both in the evening and in the morning! The sand bath was also just a 3-minute walk away!

While their service is good enough, their facities such as building, rooms, etc are old fashioned and outdated. The location is okay if you have a car.

This resort is definitely overrated! The resort seriously need a major overhaul. The room we stayed was so old & aged, I am pretty sure they have not done any upgrade in the past few decades 👎! My wife and I don’t even feel like spending time in the room at all. Everything in the room need to replace or touch up, I mean literally from the wall, toilet tiles, basin, shower faucet even the mattress…...

Excellent ryokan hotel with excellent service, amenities and food. The outdoor/ indoor public baths (onsens) are one of the biggest and most amazing I have ever seen. Although there are many rooms and guests, the service is unparalleled so you don’t experience long queues anywhere. There is a museum in the hotel compound if you are bored!
