Urban Hotel Kokubu

This hotel boasts about its breakfast, and it was certainly delicious compared to the average business hotel. However, there is nothing around the hotel. The hotel has a parking lot, so it may be a good option for people traveling by car.

I stayed in a Japanese-style room. It had been renovated and was very clean. The breakfast was homemade and delicious, just as the reviews said.

The breakfast was very satisfying! Other than that, it felt like a typical business hotel and was neither good nor bad. The bathroom facilities felt a little old and the shower curtain was not water-repellent.

I stayed with three friends, and the amenities and service were excellent! The breakfast variety was so good we ate too much! lol I'd love to stay again!

I booked breakfast, but it was so delicious that I ate too much and wasn't hungry by lunchtime. The vegetable dishes, especially the okra and eggplant, were particularly impressive. I'd love to eat there again if I have the chance.

It was raining at Kagoshima Airport. My flight to Tanegashima was canceled, so I had to stay overnight near Kokubu Station. I had a comfortable stay. Thank you.

Good Inn Hayato

It's been a while since I last used the hotel. Apparently the parking lot has been expanded recently, but the day I used it, it was very busy and the one near the hotel was full, but the staff kindly came out and showed me the location of another parking lot. It was dark at night and I had trouble finding the location, so they were very helpful. Thank you very much.

The room space was just right for a business hotel, with a table that was just right for working on the computer, power outlets, Wi-Fi, and everything you need. Breakfast consisted of just two slices of bread and a drink. I would recommend this business hotel.

The room itself was okay... But the mattress they had was too hard. It was as if they forgot the mattress and just used the box spring.... I did not sleep well.

Hotel Kirishima Castle

It's a very old inn and the interior hasn't been renovated, but it still seemed to be well cleaned and maintained. My plan included dinner and breakfast, and there was a wide variety of buffet items, so I was very satisfied. It was summer vacation, so there were a lot of children there, and I could hear footsteps from upstairs until late at night, which made it difficult to sleep, which was a bit disappointing

This hotel had a spacious room for three people and outstanding guests door and outdoor onsen bathes. I highly recommend this hotel. We plan to stay there on our next trip.

We had a triple-person room, but the Japanese-style futon was very hard and the bed springs were hard too! The toilet was tiny!

The building was old, but it had been renovated properly, which was nice. The bath and washroom in the room were still the same as they were in the Showa era, which was nice in its own way. The hot spring was spacious, with white hot spring water, and the view from the balcony was amazing.

Quality hotel - 20 mins drive from Ebino Plateau Good base for exploring area. Rooms are huge with great views. Kaseki dining in-room was excellent. Large indoor and small outdoor onsen provided variety. Helpful staff given we were probably the only non-Japanese staying there.

Ryokan Kirishima Yuukyu No Yado Isshin

Our stay was memorable, enjoyable, and relaxing. Service was impeccable and food delicious. I highly recommend it.

Isshin is a very private ryokan which can host only 7 separate house at a time. The facility is really peaceful and we were really enjoyed out indoor and outdoor private onsen in our house throughout our two day stay. The dinner and breakfast are also setup in separate room for each guest and the food were also top class. Really recommend for those who want to enjoy the peaceful nature in Kirishima

The environment is first-class and the hot springs are fantastic.

Facilities, service, staff attitude, etc. are all excellent without any shortcomings. The price was high, but it was worth it. I had a good rest.

The room was big and clean. There are hot springs both indoors and outdoors. In the slightly cool autumn weather, soaking in the hot springs in this comfortable environment is very relaxing. The food was also very good. However, due to the tight schedule, we checked out the next day without staying too late. I suggest you reserve more time when staying at this hotel.

Stayed as a family of three. A detached house. Open-air bath and indoor bath with running water. Meals in a private room. Japanese-Western style room. Barrier-free. It seems like there aren't many inns that meet all of these criteria. What's more, the food and hospitality are of a high level. I told them in advance about my bad legs and other handicap information, and they responded as well as I expected...

Room was very great (Overkill for a solo traveller but yolo). Services are also terrific, staff are very helpful, as expected from a hotel of such calibre. Food was outstanding. Close to bus stop if you opt for public transport, do note that the buses don’t run frequently. My room had independent onsen, both indoors and outdoors. It was great. The room had everything you need, facilities are sufficient...

This ryokan was a superb experience. We got the impression it doesn’t see many foreign tourists, but the team did a great job of looking after us. The food was of a very high quality and the chicken sashimi (yes, look it up) was delicious. Our huge room with private indoor and outdoor onsens was just a dream and we truly enjoyed it. Kirishima Onsen doesn’t have a major appeal outside the individual...

Overall it's OK, there's an outdoor public hot spring pool, and the rooms have private pools. Breakfast and dinner are provided, and the food is OK. It's not a buffet, it's provided by the hotel. You only know what food is available when you open the meal that day, and the taste is OK.

The hotel service is very attentive and the room is large and comfortable. The hot spring in the room is very comfortable, and there is also an open-air bath available. The meals in the evening and morning were excellent and featured local specialities.

I love the hot springs, the food, and the amount of food, and all the other hospitality, so I've been using this inn every year for the past few years on special occasions. It's an inn I'd like to recommend to my close friends.

The dinner is super. Room is up to standard. Private open-air onsen is good. The service lady is smart and looks cheerful. She can handle all works from front desk to room setting. We finally met her at dinner time.

Good Inn Kajiki

Located near Kajiki IC, this may be the only business hotel in Kajiki Town. With just over 50 rooms, it's easy to make a reservation. However, there is no elevator and there are many steps, so it may be difficult to access if you have large carry-on bags or are in a wheelchair.

I accidentally reserved a smoking room, but they changed it to a non-smoking room on the day, which I'm grateful for. There's a convenience store and drugstore nearby, and an izakaya about 1km away. Breakfast is served at the attached Joyfull. This is a perfectly fine business hotel.

I used this hotel when I had a drinking party in Aira. My companion uses it regularly, and this time we stayed overnight. I think the rooms are nice and cozy. What I liked most was that breakfast was served at the Joyful restaurant attached to the hotel. I went out briefly this time, but since it's directly connected to the hotel, it would be good on rainy days too.

There's nothing nearby. If you're staying by public transport, your only option is to eat at Joyfull. Also, there's no elevator, so you have to carry your suitcases by hand. I chose a smoking room, but even so, the smell was strong. I've written a lot, but If you're staying here on a business trip rather than on vacation, the front desk service is not bad, it's cheap, and I think you can accept that

I stayed at the hotel with a one-night stay and two-meals plan. The facilities are old, but the staff are energetic and hospitable, and it was a comfortable stay. The hot spring facility, which is frequented by many locals, was also great. The toilet in the room didn't have a washlet, which was a bit of a problem for me as I tend to get stomachaches.

The rooms are old and small. However, the attractive hot springs and dining area make up for all those shortcomings. This time I ordered à la carte rather than dinner. Everything was delicious. The hot springs are also fantastic, with water directly from the source. Since there's no need to travel, it's bliss to just eat, drink, and go to sleep. It would be great if I could take a bath in the hot springs...

Good price for a hotel. The onsen is also good. We got the breakfast option, which was also delicious

The hotel is old so it has a certain charm.

Everything was very good. However, I wish the hotel would pay attention to the loud noises of the drunk people in the room across the street until 11pm for two days.

A very old Japanese-style hotel. They have a connected large bath called Shiroyama Bath for guests. The bath is relatively old and many locals go there. But most people are not good at connecting books, because you will be very disappointed.

It was a great stay. I would like to go back again next time.

It's only half an hour's drive between the airport and the hotel, which is both convenient. But the bus only runs three times a day, which is too few. The hotel does not have an elevator, which is very inconvenient.

Hot water is good. Cooking is good. The room is good. Above all, the personality of the landlady and the husband is the best (≧∇≦)b.
