The location is right under the bridge, very close to the airport! The rooms are nice, but the hotel is very small, with only a tiny beach and no swimming pool! Not suitable for traveling with children! Relatively speaking, Hilton is better.
Everything was great, except there was no swimming pool.
The service was excellent, the staff were very polite, the environment was clean, and the room facilities were very good.
The decoration of the hotel is good, but I'm not sure if it's due to the off-season. The hotel doesn't have a bar, and apart from breakfast, there's no dinner service. There's nothing around the hotel, and it's difficult to walk without a car. As a hotel without these supporting services, I think it is inappropriate.

Rooms were new and shiny. Exceptional Italian dinner. Pleasant and attentive service. Killer views from the terrace suites. There is a beach nearby. Overall of quite good value. Checked us in hours before the usual time. Very welcoming. Only downside is that you need a car.

This was my first time staying in a container hotel, but I was surprised at how comfortable it was, and there were hardly any noise issues. The room was fresh and clean. There was a window, and the trees and leaves outside were blown by the Miyako Island breeze, which was very relaxing.
I am very satisfied with the comfortable space. I would like to come again next time.
Aside from the 🪳, everything else was great.
It's practically identical to a typical business hotel in Japan.
The facilities themselves are quite new, and the room layout is perfectly acceptable.
Mainly due to the tropical climate, it feels like 🪳 is everywhere in Okinawa Prefecture...
Parking was convenient, and the room had everything you'd expect. The room even had an electric massage chair, and a complimentary light meal was included daily – a huge plus! The location was also excellent, with a supermarket and FamilyMart nearby. A super satisfying stay!
The room was quite big and nice, but there were bugs. I killed one before bed and another one this morning. Luckily, I'm a female warrior who isn't afraid of bugs. I guess other timid girls would have screamed loudly, hahaha.
Good experience
If you leave the air conditioner on, it's comfortable. The interior is so comfortable you wouldn't think it was a container. There's mold and dirt on the walls, so it doesn't feel very clean. The interior shakes when someone walks down the aisle.

The room was spacious and well-equipped. I didn't check this properly, but the breakfast area and washing machine were not located within the hotel building, and were in a facility about 500 meters away, which was inconvenient.
It was beautiful.
There were convenience stores nearby.
I think it's only good for those looking for a budget-friendly option. Breakfast isn't provided at the hotel, but rather in a location a little further away, which is inconvenient. You have to choose from a variety of menus, but it didn't suit my taste.
There is an Aeon just a short walk away, so shopping is not a problem. Parking is a little pricey at 1,000 yen a day, but if it could be a little cheaper I think it would be more comfortable for long-term stays. The front desk staff is only there at certain times, so if you are concerned about a lot of things, you might want to avoid it. The room is like a normal apartment room, so you can use it without...

The accommodation fee was incredibly reasonable, especially since it was off-season. The room was small, but well-maintained and clean. The view from the room was beautiful. I also ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel's restaurant, which was delicious. The hotel receptionist was also very friendly. I would like to stay at this hotel again the next time I come to Miyakojima.
The first floor is the island supermarket.
The reception is on the second floor.
The rooms are on the third and fourth floors.
Breakfast is an additional 1,000 yen.
Face towels and bath towels are changed daily. (Thank goodness.)
Air conditioning is a must, even in late December.
If you don't have it on, you could get heatstroke. There are no thin curtains, so the direct sunlight is harsh.
The bed...
The building itself is old and doesn't have an elevator.
But it's quiet, close to Toguchi Beach, and has a great view.
The location allows you to feel nature, and there's a retail store on the first floor, making it convenient.
When I checked in, I asked for breakfast for two days, but when I got breakfast on the second day, they didn't communicate that I had already paid and there was no apology, which was unpleasant.
Kind of old hotel, but very clean and organized. They organize
This is my third time in Miyakojima, and this time I wanted to swim at Toguchi Beach in the center of Irabu Island and take my time to look at the sea, so I booked this cheap hotel, which includes breakfast, for a solo trip. I rented a cheap car, and when I entered the hotel name into the navigation system, it came up and showed me the bridge to Irabu Island, so I was able to arrive without getting...

Thank you for your hospitality during our 4-night, 5-day stay!
During our stay, we really enjoyed hearing the sound of the sanshin (Okinawan stringed instrument) coming from the house next door.
The room, including the bathroom, was clean and comfortable.
We were looking for a room with a washing machine, and we were so glad that this one also had a bathroom dryer! We were also happy that the amenities...
It was reasonably priced, the room was clean, and I was very satisfied.
I booked a rental car elsewhere this time, but this hotel also handled rental cars, and it seemed like I could have completed the process at check-in, so I wish I had booked it together with the hotel.
Even though it faces the street, it's in a very quiet location, and although the wallpaper was a little dull in some places, the room was very clean. It seems like some people might use the internal lock on the auto-lock system in a building of this shape.
During my stay, I was able to leave my luggage unfolded without any problems without cleaning, and it was nice that there was a washing machine...
It's like renting a regular apartment.
You'll need to go to Pine Rent-A-Car🍍 to check in, but you simply return the card key to the locker when you check out—it's easy and eco-friendly!
The interior is clean and tidy, and it's spacious enough for two people.
It's located on Sunayama, so it's only a few minutes by car to access Yaebiji from Ikema Island or Shimosato if you're a non-alcoholic.

Hello, I live in Miyakojima. I have an inquiry about this accomodation, do you have email address where I can talk to you?
Check-in and check-out were quick, which was very helpful.
The hotel was very clean!
It has everything you need, so it's the perfect hotel for those who want to be in the ocean every day. I'll definitely stay at this facility again the next time I come.

I spent my wonderful day here with my family. It was fun! Nice view
I stayed at The Shigira hoping to relax and enjoy the hotel.
My butler picked me up from the airport and took me to the hotel,
and I was able to get around the hotel either by him or by driving myself, so there was no need for a rental car.
I was able to do all my meals, spa treatments, activities, and souvenir shopping right within the hotel.
The only downside was that
The main bathroom was completely...
This is a repeat visit!
This time, I stayed at the OCEAN VIEW SUITE VILLA
for 2 nights and 3 days.
My body, exhausted from the long flight, was soothed by the aromatherapy massage.
The masseuse's skills were excellent, and I highly recommend it.
The food was also delicious (especially the vegetables), and I was very satisfied. (This time, I had teppanyaki and Okinawan cuisine.)
I had breakfast in...
My family and I stay here every year.
The service and staff seem to vary, but the staff are always friendly.
The breakfast is a little more luxurious than at other hotels.
Some parts feel a little dated.
The jacuzzi was a little slimy this year.
Customer Service at The Shigira was exceptional. We could not have been happier with the level of care and attention that Miyu provided. She made sure that every need that we had was attended to, whether it be restaurant reservations, transportation, booking a boat, booking our nightly massages….we felt that she bent over backwards for us. We have stayed at many 5 star resorts around the world and...
The butler's (Mr. Omori who looked after us) consideration and the quality, quantity and taste of the food were all perfect. I was particularly impressed with the butler's ability, despite his young age. The only thing I was disappointed about in the room facilities was that, although there were many blinds, they were not electric, but that may be a bit greedy. If they could just fix this one thing...

The room is spacious and excellent
We made a reservation for 4 adults and 4 children. Although the room was within the capacity range when we made the reservation, we were still unsure and had to check and confirm. When we arrived, we found that there were only 6 single beds. They brought us futons right away, but we had checked in advance, so that was a bit disappointing. The room itself was well-cleaned and the facilities and location...
The style is that one room in an apartment building is rented out. The room was spacious and equipped with home appliances such as a refrigerator and washing machine, which was convenient. It is a convenient resort apartment building within walking distance of the downtown area. The sea view from the room was beautiful.
It was a nice apartment and our family of five had a comfortable stay.
We stayed here as a family of four. It's about 15 minutes from Miyako Airport, and costs about 1,500 yen.
Due to sudden bad weather, we had to change our plans and arrive at the hotel early, but the staff was very accommodating and very helpful.
The room was clean and comfortable, and we had no complaints.
There are many souvenir shops and izakayas in the area. However, most of them seem to open...
Good communication.
Feels like home. Everything you need is there.
I would like to use it again.

The key collection area and breakfast area are far from the accommodation, so it's inconvenient if you don't have a car.
At the key collection area, there are both free and paid rentals, and they were free to use.

"Clean and comfortable"
We stayed as a family of four. Two of us had single beds, and two had sofa beds. It was very clean, like a room in an apartment building. Only seasonings were not provided. If you use the 4.3kg washing...

I stayed for 3 days and it was a comfortable stay!
The rooms, toilets and baths were all clean.
I was a little bothered by the fact that I could hear the neighbors' voices until late at night.
I also ordered breakfast, which was very delicious.

We stayed for two nights in early September.
The hotel is a little far from the city center, but that meant there was little traffic and it was quiet at night.
The room was clean and the Simmons bed was incredibly comfortable.
It also had a washing machine, so it was convenient to be able to wash our beach wear right away and use it the next day.

I didn't have to worry about other people, I could relax and do my laundry and dry it every day, so it was very easy when I got home.
However, there were small ants all over the room, so I had to buy a spray to get rid of them, the cups had cracks in them, and the air conditioner hadn't been cleaned and wasn't working well.

We stayed at Villa Malibu and everything exceeded out expactations! Beautiful and clean house in a good location and flawless procedure when it comes to their partnered car rentals company ‚Pine Rent A Car‘.
The lady in the front desk was super sweet and kind as well. Would come again!
We ordered transfer to airport 18.00, but they did not understand. So we ended up having to book our own taxi last minute to get to the airport which was stressful.
Rooms are nice. There are free bikes to use at the property. Location is quite good.
The location is great. It was also easy to get to Irabu Island.
The room was larger than I expected, and I was able to spread my suitcase out on the shelf below the wall-mounted TV.
The bathroom only has a shower. If I had one request, it would be that the shower head be replaced...

I spent three nights in Miyakojima and stayed here for just the last night.
The location and breakfast were excellent, and there was a washing machine in the room, so I felt like I would be able to carry less luggage if I stayed here as a base. The bathroom also had a dryer function. There was also a freezer, so the facilities were fine, but I felt the air conditioning was ineffective.

I’ve just completed a three night stay at the Hotel Miyakojima. I arrived at the airport and took a taxi (1700 yen one way) and checked in. Actually, there is no check in because this is an apartment hotel, so there is no front desk. They will send you a pin code to enter the building and one to enter your room (apartment). It’s a completely no contact experience. If you are a quiet recluse, you will...
This is an apartment, not a hotel. We stayed there 6 nights. Positive: free parking on the property, washing machine, dryer and drying rack in the apartment, good beds. Negatives: worn sofa, only a chair and a stool to sit on, no furniture on the balcony, no cleaning or garbage disposal in the room, no sunbeds or pool on the property and no staff on site.

I'm a little late in writing this review. I stayed for two nights from November 21st. The location, the rooms, everything was great. The owners were also very kind.
They came to pick me up even though I arrived much earlier than check-in time, and even waited for me even though my flight was quite delayed. We did a barbecue, and rental was only 1,000 yen. Why?! They also told me about supermarkets...
This cottage has a private beach in a very quiet area. It's right in front of the beach where sea turtles swim, making it a very pleasant place to bring children to play in the ocean. The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils and basic seasonings like salt, pepper, and oil, so we grilled some vegetables and Miyako beef we'd bought and ate it at the table in the garden. We were able to spend a relaxing...
I generally agree with other visitors' reviews.
It's a great place to relax and unwind in the suburbs, overlooking the ocean. You'll experience a sense of tranquility you won't find in crowded hotels or resorts.
The square layout consists of four rooms. Rooms A and C face the ocean directly, while Rooms B and D face the side.
Rooms B and D also offer a bit of privacy, which was nice.

The view from the window is amazing.
You can also rent a car for 1,000 yen a day, so I think it's a great deal.
We even rented a BBQ set and had a BBQ!
The female owner was very kind.
It was a building with a rather interesting design.
The location was fantastic, and it's understandable why private beach rental villas like this are rare and difficult to book.
The private beach isn't in a bay, so the waves tend to be high, but being able to enjoy snorkeling without having to move was fantastic.
The indirect lighting was stylish and nice, but it was too dark for eating; the dining...

The hotel offers shuttle service and has a good location.
There are 24-hour Don Quijote and MaxValue nearby.
The hotel itself also seems to offer car rental services.
Aside from seeing a fly and an insect in the room, it's very suitable for long-term stays. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The hotel also has staff who speak Chinese.
Located near the city center, there are plenty of amenities nearby. If you can speak basic Korean, we recommend this hotel for those who want to check in easily and spend their time mainly on the beach!
A hotel combined with a rental car company near the airport.
It comes with a kitchen, bathroom, and washing machine, so you can live like in an apartment.

When I looked at it from the outside, the building looked small, but the inside was spacious and the bed was big and long, which was nice.
The bathroom is equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and there are 3-4 small towels and 3 large towels to wrap your body around.
There is a hair dryer/refrigerator/washing machine/mini laundry rack/gas stove/frying pan...
They were so polite and welcoming, I felt a little embarrassed. The room was large, spacious, and comfortable. Although the furniture was a bit cheap, it was still very comfortable and extremely clean! The hotel also rents bicycles for 1200 RMB per person (not electric-assisted), which is a reasonable price. They even took us to the airport at the end; the service was truly excellent.
It was spacious, clean, and had a home-like atmosphere, which was great.
You can even cook simple meals in the room....

Rooms consists of small individual villas with private pools and patio. A bit humid and aging. One of the upsides were that the best beach in Miyako is a stone’s throw away. We felt it lacked safety as it’s accessible from the streets easily with no gates etc. The food was great. Barbeque is especially of good value and reccommended. The service was personal and warm
Our stay at VILLABU Resort was nothing short of exceptional. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Loved the gorgeous ocean view from the room, the spacious backyard and the pool in the backyard. The private beach was very quiet and secluded. The course dinner we had "Basho" with paired wine was excellent! All the staff were very nice and accommodating. We had absolutely amazing time at this villa.
Lunch at the popular restaurant in the villa. Pasta and pizza were delicious. Good dessert. It is best to make a reservation for lunch.
Room, food and service are all the best!
However, there were many dead insects in the passage outside to the room, and I was not good at insects, so I didn't like to go through every time.
It was a three-day stay, but the same insects had fallen all the time without being cleaned up. ..
I definitely want to stay again, so I would like you to improve it!
It was nice to have a solid private villa. When I was there, the waves on the beach were strong, so I thought it would be better to go to another beach if you are not confident in swimming. The food was delicious. However, it was a pain to carry luggage from the gravel parking lot. Overall, I think it is a good resort in Okinawa.
