We stayed at Villa Malibu and everything exceeded out expactations! Beautiful and clean house in a good location and flawless procedure when it comes to their partnered car rentals company ‚Pine Rent A Car‘.

The lady in the front desk was super sweet and kind as well. Would come again!

We ordered transfer to airport 18.00, but they did not understand. So we ended up having to book our own taxi last minute to get to the airport which was stressful.

Rooms are nice. There are free bikes to use at the property. Location is quite good.

The location is great. It was also easy to get to Irabu Island.
The room was larger than I expected, and I was able to spread my suitcase out on the shelf below the wall-mounted TV.
The bathroom only has a shower. If I had one request, it would be that the shower head be replaced...
Bikes are also available for free rental if available.
And they're available until check-out.
We cycled to Hirara in the evening to eat dinner.
The ups and downs were tiring, but it was great because we were able to stop at various places. However, it might be a bit difficult in the middle of summer...I recommend renting bikes during the cooler months.
The drum washing machine, toaster oven, refrigerator, and toilet were all clean.
Pajamas are not provided, so please bring your own.

I spent three nights in Miyakojima and stayed here for just the last night.

The location and breakfast were excellent, and there was a washing machine in the room, so I felt like I would be able to carry less luggage if I stayed here as a base. The bathroom also had a dryer function. There was also a freezer, so the facilities were fine, but I felt the air conditioning was ineffective.

Unfortunately, the receptionist seemed inflexible. I had initially requested no shuttle service, but when I realized that rental cars cannot accommodate people and luggage at the same time, I went to request one around 5:20 PM, but they only accepted reservations until 5 PM the day before, and they handled it like a bureaucrat without any confirmation. To be honest, I hadn't been informed that applications had to be made by 5 PM, and I thought that if the car was dispatched within 20 minutes, it would have been fine, so I wish they had at least confirmed.

The only other thing I'd noticed was that the shower head was clogged, making it difficult to clean. The hotel was fairly well-cleaned, but that was disappointing.

I’ve just completed a three night stay at the Hotel Miyakojima. I arrived at the airport and took a taxi (1700 yen one way) and checked in. Actually, there is no check in because this is an apartment hotel, so there is no front desk. They will send you a pin code to enter the building and one to enter your room (apartment). It’s a completely no contact experience. If you are a quiet recluse, you will enjoy it. If you crave human contact, you might prefer a traditional hotel. For me, it was perfect. My apartment is a large 1K one bedroom/living room, kitchen, bath with laundry facilities. Perfect for short or long-term stays. The air conditioner is a big help because Miyako is hot. To get the air conditioner working at its best, close the door between the kitchen and entryway, and the bedroom. Yes, the other areas will be hot, but if you don’t do this the bedroom won’t cool well. The biggest thing to remember is that you need your pin code for the building and room, so don’t go out without them. Also, as a tropical island watch out for the geckos. They are totally harmless, gentle little creatures that eat the bugs. You may see one run across the floor near your entryway. Be kind to them. The location of the hotel for me was the reason I chose this location. It’s between two beaches, one 600m away, the other about 800m away. Blue Seal ice cream is a block away. The area with a lot of restaurants is about a mile away. With a car, easy. On foot, a walk. If you are not renting a car, you may also have trouble getting a taxi back to the airport. But there are two taxi companies, a 600m walk away, just before the supermarket. I went yesterday and made a reservation. Clearly, this is easier if you speak Japanese. Overall, a good stay and I’d be happy to stay here again if I come back to Miyako.

This is an apartment, not a hotel. We stayed there 6 nights. Positive: free parking on the property, washing machine, dryer and drying rack in the apartment, good beds. Negatives: worn sofa, only a chair and a stool to sit on, no furniture on the balcony, no cleaning or garbage disposal in the room, no sunbeds or pool on the property and no staff on site.

Our first time in Miyakojima. Our group was : 2 grandparents, 2 parents and our 4 year old son, for a total of 5 heads. We stayed in the Malibu Villa for 4 nights, to start off our vacation together. The villa (one single family home) was brand new! The bedrooms are on the second floor. The beds are like big twin beds.. tall enough even hubby 6ft. The air conditioners work really well. There were two swings in the living room that our little guy loved swinging in. Nice little touch!
Breakfast is served in the restaurant next to the guest service center. You will be in good hands, staying here. The Palm Springs Miyakojima Villa Resort staff are extremely competent. I think this hotel is really nice and it is geared towards Westerners like Europeans and No Americans looking for a comfortable stay, with authentic Japanese style bathroom. Plus a stand up shower booth.

Very affordable and functional apartment with view of the bay. The apartment actually felt big for Japan. We had everything we needed to cook and we had bicycles to ride around the island (cooking utensils and bikes must be rented from the hotel).

We stayed at the newly built Peach Fizz. The interior appliances are very cute and photogenic 😊🤳 The kitchen washing machine was new and the beds were spacious and comfortable. A cute bicycle was also attached, so I cycled to the beach 🚴‍♀️ It is a hotel that makes me feel better during my stay ♪

The room was large, with a washing machine and dryer, and I couldn't find anything missing. There is also a parking lot, so it's very good for about 3 nights. The location is good as it is close to the beach and the city.
