Staff was very friendly and the room was adequate I think. It's a little out of the way though but for the price I think it's value for money:)

The rooms are a little dated, but the front desk was very accommodating when something unexpected happened.

It's quite far from the station, but it's a good choice for those looking for a cheap place to stay.
Even after renovating, the hotel itself shows its age.
There are also some issues with hygiene and the air conditioning, so people unaccustomed to staying overnight might want to avoid it in the middle of summer or winter.

The service at the hotel was good.
Given the location, many of the guests were business people, and some seemed to be staying long-term.
The Japanese breakfast is also good, and it's not crowded on weekdays so you can have a leisurely breakfast.
The rice balls are average, but the pork miso soup was delicious.
There are very few places nearby that serve breakfast, so this is a good choice.

The attitude of the guy at the front desk was awful.
I question the company's reputation if that's how they handle hotel reception.
He had terrible body odor and didn't even say thank you when I left.
The doorknob in my room was about to fall off.
They really need to re-evaluate their operations.

I will never stay here again 🫡

If you need a receipt for a business trip or something,
I recommend not staying here as the staff may not give one to you at their discretion.

When I asked a middle-aged male staff member named Yano for a receipt, he said he couldn't provide one. When I somehow managed to convince him that he had done it before, he suddenly became surly and gave it to me as if he was annoyed.

The staff member asked me, "We need your receipt for hotel reports, so what do you need it for?" but I've never been told that at Hills before.

I've stayed at this hotel several times, but this was the first time I've been told that.

I was quite persistent before they gave it to me, so I recommend not staying here if you need a receipt for a business trip.

Also, when I booked officially for a plan that included drinks, they said they didn't have one. What a scam.
