It was a hassle that there was no hairbrush in the room. There may have been one at the front desk, but it was a hassle to go get it after taking a shower in the room, so I wish they would have left a brush or at least told us.

I'm sensitive to cold, but the air conditioning seemed to be good so I didn't get cold and my throat didn't get dry and I was comfortable. The location is okay. Because it is next to a large AEON MALL, it can basically meet the shopping requirements, and there is no problem in meeting three meals. However, the room is relatively old and the equipment is relatively lacking... If you have no special requirements for accommodation, it is still acceptable.

The hotel is currently undergoing renovations. I booked a Japanese-style room but was given a twin room. The lobby was dusty and the parking lot was unusable, so I had to park overnight in a public open-air parking lot about a 5-minute walk away. The room had just been renovated, and the carpet and bed were practically new, but the room was quite small.

The hotel is located in Shikokuchuo City, just two minutes from the nearest JR station! Drivers are also super convenient—all of Shikoku's capitals are within about an hour's drive! The hotel is well-equipped, the rooms are clean, and the upper floors offer panoramic views of Shikokuchuo City. There's also a 24-hour convenience store right at the entrance of the hotel—perfect for late-night snacks...

JR Iyo Mishima Station walk about 2-3 minutes to this hotel, very convenient and easy to find, nearby 7-11 and shopping street, sound insulation is average, attached microwave, you can buy Ding Ding food at night

The observation bath was very pleasant. My room was next to the elevator so the noise was a bit annoying, but other than that I had a pleasant stay.

I stayed here the night before climbing Mount Kamegamori. I drove there, but it was convenient because there was a large parking lot even though it was located in front of the station. I think the parking fee was only 200 yen. It was good value for money.

Lovely Japanese style room. Toilets and showers were clean. Location was decent, around 10 mins walk to Imabari castle but from Imabari station is around 40 mins walk so would recommend taking a bus there

Love the traditional tatami room. Place is abit old but still comfortable to me. Owner is friendly n prepared nice simple japanese breakfast as early as 6:30am for me.

While searching for accommodations in Imabari, I stumbled upon Komecho Ryokan. The couple were friendly, and they provided complimentary drip coffee and green tea. The rooms were tatami-matted. The bathrooms and toilets were also excellent.

The chabu tea set had tea leaves in a tea caddy, not tea bags. It was delicious. I drank too much and had trouble falling asleep at night, so be careful not to drink too much. The price was also reasonable.

I stayed in the annex without meals. There was an extra charge for the large public bath. The bath in the room was spacious and clean, but it didn't hold any hot water (the plug was loose), which was disappointing.

This hotel was perfect for a quick 1 night stay after doing the shimanami kaido cycle and returning the bikes at the imabari station. The reception was fine, and so was the rooms. Nothing to complain about.

I stayed here before starting cycling on the Shimanami Kaido. The location was superb, near both the JR station and bike rental station so it’s very good choice for biker. Their breakfast also great as well.

Make sure you keep the air purifier and ac turned on and running because I turned it off and I woke up nauseous, dizzy, and heart rate raised. I raised concerns but the front desk said there’s nothing they can do since they can’t change rooms :/

We were told that the onsen was closed. Which must have been a misunderstanding, as we used it later and it was great. Got a nice welcome drink - even though it was form the machine, it was a nice gesture. Location was perfect next to the train station and not far from the Henro pilgrimee temple

This hotel is a very old styled ryokan up on the mountains of innoshima, it feels very surreal to arrive at the location after driving up stretches of mountain paths.

We were plenty surprised with the hotel and its facilities after a long ride up. It is a beautiful property nestled in the mountains and is the best stay we ever had in Japan!

The hot spring was also very pleasant and I was able to relax. The steak at dinner was quite fatty, so perhaps it would have been better cooked medium or better? I was very full. I recommend this place for a relaxing, leisurely stay.

I made a reservation to visit Oyamazumi Shrine on Omishima Island for my first shrine visit of the year. We arrived shortly after arriving on the island. I would highly recommend anyone doing the shimanami kaido to stay here! It does make for a longer second day to complete the bike ride as it’s before the official halfway point but the hotel it self it absolutely stunning with the onsen we throughly enjoyed everything about this hotel.

The staff were pleasant. The room was down a dark alley and tricky to find. In a separate building two blocks from the main accommodations. There was a septic smell which took four hours to disappear! The room was unfinished plywood, difficult to figure out the heating system. Not impressed!

We have just had a great 3 night stay at Soil Setoda a d we loved it. We cycled the Shimanami Kaido and based ourselves in Setoda. The staff were so lovely. Food excellent. Loved our room. It has a lovely simple design edge that we liked. We even purchased some great local pottery. Highly recommend
