Room and washroom are very small. Having microwave in the room is a plus. Not in the city center, but if you are traveling to islands or getting on JR most of the time, it's a very convenient location

We are group of 7 peoples and require documents for claiming insurance due to typhoon in hk and delay our flight. The staff at reception, Nhu speaks good English and is very helpful in preparing our documents. Appreciate her effort to add credit to our stay.

Was visiting Otaki-ji. Not too many choices around town. Nevertheless, this is a nice stay. The only problem was that the hotel does not provide meals if you didn’t choose to include when booking. The nearest place for dinner is a 10min walk, not too bad though.

Near a train station which was very convenient also the onsen was very nice with an outdoor open air onsen. The bed however was very hard a long with the pillows I didn’t sleep very well. Breakfast was good too!

It's a retro Showa era-style accommodation. It's an old space, but it's well-maintained, clean, and pleasant. It was really nice that there was a large bath and sauna. And the fireworks were right in front, so it was great.

Standard Japanese capsule hotel with spa/sauna included although one feels as though one has stepped into a time warp back to the 1990s. The capsule room should be cooler than the rest of the building on my opinion but it is warmer. An upper capsule seems to be even warmer yet and there isn’t a fan in the capsule itself that can be used for cooling.

The whole process is self-service registration, no one greets you, the door is locked with a password, be sure to check your e-mail, if you don't have a password, just wait until someone comes in and out. Simple and easy booking and check-in, easy to find as well; showers and toilets were modern, well equipped and super clean and we were surprised to find a very cosy tatami room for us in this modern building. Enjoyed our night there!

A cheap inn close to the Kawaramachi station and the Kawaramachi shopping mall. Good for travelers who want only to take a shower, watch TV and go to bed there. We stayed here while on our walking pilgrimage. The owner at the front desk had a lovely, homely smile. As we are elderly, we were reminded of the merchants' inns of old and felt a sense of security. It's fine enough for a one night staying. No towels and cosmetics but they have shampoo and body wash. The room is quite small (female dorm) and the bed is a bit crooked so for me I cannot sleep well. But for though who just need a bed to lie on it's comfortable enough.
