Takeshi and his family run a very clean, welcoming guesthouse with lots of information provided both before and during our stay. We had a great three-night stay here in the private room on the first floor. Takeshi was a wonderful host: he's genuine and friendly and made us feel right at home. He also was immensely helpful in recommending what to do in Takamatsu based on our interests. His English was very good, and he was always available and happy to chat. This was my first time staying in a hostel, and I specifically booked a female dormitory room. The hostel environment was nice, right next to a shopping street with a supermarket, bakery, and izakaya (Japanese pub), making it super convenient for eating and shopping. The room was clean, and although it was a small dormitory bed, it was enough for my needs since I was out early and back late every day...

It's just a few minutes' walk from Kawaramachi Station, and about a 30-minute walk to Takamatsu Port. The airport bus stop is also nearby. The guesthouse was clean and the beds were very comfortable. There was a lively vegan restaurant downstairs.

I got to the hotel a bit before the check-in time, but to my surprise, the staff was able to get me checked in right away! I was in a 4-bed dormitory room and was on the upper bed. The bed was comfy, had a good night's rest. Location is good, it was near the shoutengai (shopping street). The space is spacious and the facilities are very comfortable! It's perfect for families. The house's exterior resembles a Minecraft piglet; it's immediately adorable!

My sister's family and I came from far away to celebrate my mother's 88th birthday. We checked in early and were able to relax without any family time for the first time in a while. Thank you very much.

The bathroom, toilet, and sink are all separate. To be honest, it's quite odd... Maybe I'm just used to traditional hotels, so I'm not accustomed to places like this that seem to be renovated apartments or residences. the hotel was amazing for a 3star hotel, very good service from the reception, offered free drinks, free umami soup & allowed to keep our luggage until evening the next day (5/5) room was good for the price ($72 sgd), but the interior might look a little old, & slightly dirty but was reasonable location was ok, close to the shopping street but a little far from the station/subway for heavy luggages...
