Kita Hotel in Morioka

Great location and comfortable room. The staff are very professional. The room is average size with a small bathroom. The shower has amazing water pressure. Second time staying here and i would return. They allow motorcycles to park near the front door.

Sakurayama Yokocho is nearby, so it was easy to wander around the izakayas at night.

The hotel is quite far from the train station, and you need to take a bus (snail cycle bus) for about 10 minutes. I stayed for 3 consecutive nights and changed rooms every day. Although the front desk staff was very polite, it was really inconvenient.

The room is clean.

What a great place to stay when visiting Morioka!

The staff are absolutely wonderful. To my surprise, they all had a good level of English and were able to help me park my car on the premises. It cost only 900yen for the night. If they are out of spots, there is a large paid lot right on the corner you could use as well.

The room I booked was a large single room which cost only about $35 for the one night I stayed. It was very clean and modern. It looked renovated and barely used. It had a large desk and plenty of space for my large suitcase. The bathroom was of normal standard. The AC/heater worked great, and there was also a fridge available in the room.

The hotel is located only a few minutes walking distance from the Morioka Castle Site, the shrine and park. There are plenty of restaurant options in the area, as well as konbini across the road.

I would definitely stay here again!

Chose the hotel because of location next to castle and rock-splitting cherry tree.

Service at front desk was 5-star hotel level. Hotel décor is exquisitely understated.

2 choices for breakfast - Japanese and Western. Both breakfasts are highly quality and beautifully presented.

This hotel really cares about every detail and every guest.

Lovely hotel. Staff were very nice and accommodating. Rooms were clean, quiet and I slept very well. Good price, good value. Close to the castle ruins and was easy to walk around to many of the attractions.

A little far-off from the station, but you can take a bus that takes you in less than 7 minutes, so that wasn’t an issue.
Hotel seems old but room felt like renovated, so I couldn’t have the feeling of being in an old place, and they all smell as they used to be smoking rooms. Rooms are regular size compared to other business hotels.
I booked here because the price was very low compared to other hotels in the city.
