We went to little petra first great preparation for the big one. We were the only people there. Sammy was a great guide for $15 jod smartly dressed good english but we realised he had no idea what a senior would find dangerous to climb. It even has a little siq and is very like a little secret discovery. I am so glad we went. We asked our driver from Amman to take us there before we went to our hotel so was like a free extra. Little petra is free and if you are good for a three hour hike with some near the edge you can go to the monestary from there like the back door to petra. You do need your jordan pass to enter petra.

What a great retreat and break during our Jordan trek. We were very pleased that torrential rains cancelled our planned camping. Wonderful staff, food and accommodations

Overnighted here in a moon tent. Wonderful outlook. Comfortable room and good plumbing. Food was disappointing relative to excellent cuisine in other places we have eaten in Jordan on this trip.

spent 2 nights here at New Year's. Loved the location and the rooms. beautiful. Food was not the tastiest during our trip, varied and plentiful however. great location to walk to the shuttle that takes you to Little Petra and the back entrance hike into Petra.

This is a beautiful and comfortable camp set just across the road from Little Petra which is a very special place and a must to visit. Mohammed is extremely professional and passionate about making his camp a special place to stay. The camp has lots of character and I felt very safe here. The beds and bathrooms and food are all very good. I highly recommend a stay here. As someone else said 'just book it', if you are coming to Petra.

This was a lovely evening that I would definitely recommend. We ate delicious food seated in a comfortable Bedouin tent. The portions were most generous and staff very attentive. We then had dessert outside in a beautiful seated area around a fire drinking tea and chatting. A local musician played during the evening and around 8pm they light up the surrounding mountains to add to the atmosphere. We were not staying there although I would expect the standards to be maintained throughout. It was a memorable way to end our visit to this stunning part of the country

Had the most wonderful stay from start to finish. Mohammed treated us like old friends, it was just fantastic, staff couldn’t do enough. Rooms were great, food & camp facilities couldn’t ask for more. Thank you guys we’ll return one day. X

The camp is magical, we hiked through Little Petra with Experience Jordan trek guides, we stayed the night here the huts are clean and a taste of luxury in the desert, the air conditioning is amazing so are the en suite showers. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious especially the traditional fresh bread made by a lady in front of us l, also loved sitting around the fire at night drinking tea with all the caves lit up around us, we loved our stay thank you so much it was the perfect start to our day in Petra
