Hotels in Petra

The hotel was incredibly convenient, and the service quality was excellent!

Perfect location for Petra! Service is very efficient and attentive

Awesome room and location. Service was superb. A stone throw away from Visiter Center.

Brilliant hotel , the staff where incredible. I told them it was our anniversary and they gave us chocolates and decorated our bed !

Perfect location right opposite Petra visitor’s centre, clean rooms, good service

Located directly across the street from the entrance to ancient Petra, this hotel is stunningly beautiful. The interior feels like an Arabian Nights dream. The staff are excellent, providing an exceptionally high level of service to every guest. Breakfast and dinner were superb. Upon check-in, we received a complimentary room upgrade due to low occupancy. We were genuinely sad to leave this hotel.

Great stay, great service. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

You're minutes away from the Rose City. Relax with a drink and enjoy the view!

One of the best location to visit Petra : 5 mn walking distance from the site. Don't expect anything from the room ))

The door in my bathroom is a broken one. Didn’t have time to report during my stay, but obviously the maintenance team may work harder. The location is the best, and all the drinks & little snacks in the mini bar are complimentary! It was a bit chaotic during the check-in as it was a busy hour. i

It's perfect place for my family to stay at reasonable price. It's very close to Petra enterance and breakfast was really good. Small details were well arranged for customer.

Hotel is supery located just in front of Petra visitor centre which makes things very convenient. It is also a short walk to nearby convenience shops, restaurants, forex etc if you need anything urgent. The hotel is maintained well, well lit and have a cozy ambiance which provides a good rest after a long day in Petra.

The image shows a pool. There was no pool. Most facilities are shared with the Petra Moon luxury hotel less than 2 minutes away. This includes the spa which was limited but fine. The breakfast was good, but being a 2 minute walk from the Petra visitors centre was the best thing about this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful

Extremely close to the front entrance of Petra with a free car park behind and to the side of the hotel. Breakfast is pretty much the same everyday, but pancakes and eggs are made fresh, which was appreciated.

The hotel is right outside of Petra entrance. 5 minutes walk into the archeological site. Overall, location, service, cleanliness, food are excellent!

I will be honest. For a 3-star hotel, the outdoor areas and the swimming pool feel more like a 5-star property. Everything is spotless, well maintained, and carefully looked after, creating a very positive first impression. The breakfast is simple, fresh, and well organized. During breakfast, we were even welcomed by the chef himself, who came out later to greet us personally, which shows professionalism...

The location of the place is just wonderful. It's a five minute walk to Petra, and 2 minute walk to many restaurants and shops in the area. The room was clean and tidy, except for some quality issues, like the bathroom quality was really low, the water would change from extremely hot to cold throughout the shower. The TV was not working, as well as the phone. I would like to thank Mohammad Hasannat...

My wife and I we stayed in this hotel. The location is perfect, literally two minutes from the gates of Petra. The hotel itself looks beautiful, and the service offered is awesome. The front desk and manager were very helpful. Also, I can't forget to mention Happy our server during dinners, and mihammad hasnat. They are great professionals who makes sure that all the guests are comfortable and have...

We had a wonderful stay at Edom Hotel. The location was excellent—very easy to find and just a 4-minute walk to the Petra Visitor Centre, which made our visit extremely convenient. Upon arrival, the staff warmly welcomed us, helped with our luggage, and brought it up to our rooms. The front desk receptionist was especially kind and thoughtful. He explained the opening times of Petra, gave us useful...

The location is fantastic, just a 4 minute walk to the Petra entrance, and the hotel has a dedicated parking spot. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable. The hotel overall could use some general renovations, but the rooms themselves and public toilets were in great condition. Breakfast was a bit limited (for example no scrambled eggs, only boiled), but their fig jam and tea were absolutely...

Very nice hotel and the owner ,the staff and all the people where very helpful and very welcoming. It's the place to to stay in if you visit Petra. Myself and my wife are highly recommend it.

Two nights here mid-January 2026 for a quick visit to Petra. Booked in by Insight Tours (TourRadar). A short 5 minute walk from the Petra visitor centre (we have mobility issues so 10 minutes for us, but almost level!). Great views from the dining room. Very careful and attentive staff, solicitous and helpful with the disability. Rooms are basic but clean and well fitted, everything works. Food is...

Location is perfect where you can walk to Petra in 3mins. The room is clean but the facilities in bathroom are broken.

Very nice hotel located 3mins away from Petra visitor center, comfy beds, good buffet breakfast, very attentive staff. They have an agreement with the local Turkish hammam an if you book through them you get a 5JD discount per person, a must before or after walking Petra for hours! Would def stay again here!

Very convenient location for all the historical sites with great service and great assistance with arranging tours

Convenient location. 5 minutes from the entrance to Petra. Nice, clean room. You can leave your luggage upon checkout and pick it up in the evening if you plan to visit Petra that day.

Aircon constantly cut out even when set on a long duration. Very hard to sleep in the hot room.

It was a clean hotel. Great customer service. Great breakfast. Close to petra visitor center

The hotel was comfortable, clean and offered great breakfast. It’s within a 5-10 minute walk from Petra. A great value.

There are some convinced stores around where you can get water and snacks

Room air conditioning is turned off at night by staff regardless of room temperature. Sleeping was very uncomfortable.

Great location in a good hotel Great stay, location is a few steps away from the main visit entrance. Very good value for money.

Central location and within walking distance to Petra visitor center.

Amazing comfortable room with a view. We were lucky to get a room with a balcony. Check in a breeze and allowed us in our room early. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back as loved our experience here. Only let down was a lack luster breakfast but as we were not there at a very busy time of year it might have contributed. But overall an excellent experience and one...

Excellent hotel in an excellent position to visit Petra. Rooms are all clean & tidy. On our day to visit Petra our full breakfast was prepared at 6am by the lovely staff. Free parking outside facing Petra entrance. Good location for local restaurants & shops

Fantastic location, mediocre rooms, very basic breakfast.

Convenient location, lovely staff Good spot for the one full day we had at Petra. Not the fanciest of hotels but we loved the staff and their attention to detail.

We had an amazing stay in the Venus hotel, it is the perfect place to explore Petra and has absolutely everything you could possibly need. The location was perfect a few mins walk from Petra and the staff were incredibly welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. We got upgraded to a balcony room which was lovely. The rooms have everything you could need including water, a fridge, AC and USB charging...

the hotel is so great and the service they offer is amazing it's great and have whatever you need for us after we booked a 4* hotel in petra and didn't stay there then we move to Venus hotel and it was amazing and worth the amount we paid and even more

It certainly doesn't have the "luxury" we Italians are accustomed to, but the hotel is still more than decent. The furnishings may be a little dated, but the room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with every comfort (minibar, hairdryer, bath products, etc.). It's very convenient for reaching the entrance to the Petra archaeological site on foot without having to pay for parking, as the hotel...

Room is big clean an quiet. Parking is onsite and easy. 5 minutes walk to Petra's main entrance. Breakfast very good. Staff very helpful. Highly recommended

Definitely recommend Great staff... awesome service....will definitely recommend anyone to stay here

Great value for money. Excellent location. Wonderful staff and food. Very clean

It is a nice hotel with friendly and helpful personal. The rooms are clean and conform description on internet. The hotel location is perfect, you can walk to hitorical Petra. I would recommend this hotel.

Really good location, great prices and really clean! The staff is super nice and available for anything, recomend!

I had an amazing experience staying at Petra Cabin Hostel! The location is absolutely perfect — just a short walk from the Petra Visitor Center, which made visiting the site so easy and convenient. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to give advice about Petra hikes, transportation, or local restaurants. They really made me feel at home and cared about every small detail during...

Fantastic stay – highly recommend! Petra Cabin Hostel was one of the best budget hostels I stayed at during my trip to The staff were amazing — super helpful with tips for visiting Petra, including the best hiking routes, sunrise spots, and even help with transportation. The hostel is a short 10–15 min walk to Petra’s Visitor Center, which made everything super convenient. The common areas are...

This is probably the best hostel you’ll find in petra Clean cabin well maintained, all standard facilities, ideal location and very hospitable hosts. They helped with my itinerary in and around Jordan They took care of my trip to Wadi Rum too! 😊 Best part - my morning breakfast. Easily the best breakfast I had on the trip

Brilliant place. 100m from entrance to Petra. Fabulous food breakfast and diner buffet style with so much choice. Staff very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We had such a lovely time here Recommend 100% Thanks for all staff vary friendly i hope seen you again

We had a wonderful room with a window view to watch the beautiful sunset on Petra. The buffet dinner provided by the hotel was delicious too! And the premises and the room was so clean and spotless. Service was great and this made our stay so relaxing and perfect.

Super convenient location, right at the gate of Petra. Location is even better than movenpick. Great value for money.

Super convenient location, right at the gate of Petra. Location is even better than movenpick. Great value for money.

Very good location it at the door steps of Petra! The hotel is aged but still clean and comfortable! The hotel have a very nice Cave bar too! Great stay!

This hotel is incredible and exceeds all your expectations for enjoying Petra. We want to congratulate all the staff and especially highlight the kindness and excellent service of Hanadi and Hamza at reception. Choose this hotel without hesitation for your stay in Petra.

This hotel was absolute perfection. Everything from cleanliness, to location, to great food. Most importantly I have to say the staff was so sweet and professional. My mother and I visited from Los Angeles, and after we had already checked out and were on our way back to Amman, our driver received a call from the hotel staff informing him we had left a lot of money and jewels in the lockbox in our...
