I will be honest. For a 3-star hotel, the outdoor areas and the swimming pool feel more like a 5-star property. Everything is spotless, well maintained, and carefully looked after, creating a very positive first impression.
The breakfast is simple, fresh, and well organized. During breakfast, we were even welcomed by the chef himself, who came out later to greet us personally, which shows professionalism and genuine care.
The rooms are perfectly fine, comfortable, and clean. I won’t hide the fact that the bathrooms could use some improvement, but this does not significantly affect the overall experience.
A big plus is the excellent location: the hotel is located just a few meters from the entrance of Petra, with no uphill or downhill walking, which makes access extremely easy and convenient.
Overall, it is a very good and honest hotel, without unnecessary or misleading details. For the price, it is absolutely worth it and deserves 4 stars.

The location of the place is just wonderful. It's a five minute walk to Petra, and 2 minute walk to many restaurants and shops in the area.
The room was clean and tidy, except for some quality issues, like the bathroom quality was really low, the water would change from extremely hot to cold throughout the shower. The TV was not working, as well as the phone.
I would like to thank Mohammad Hasannat for his exquisite service in the restaurant, he was always happy to service us at the restaurant and would go out of his way to check whether we were happy with the food, he made our stay at Edom memorable. The food was delicious as well, compliments to the chef.

My wife and I we stayed in this hotel. The location is perfect, literally two minutes from the gates of Petra. The hotel itself looks beautiful, and the service offered is awesome. The front desk and manager were very helpful. Also, I can't forget to mention Happy our server during dinners, and mihammad hasnat. They are great professionals who makes sure that all the guests are comfortable and have their needs taken care of. I recommend this hotel!

We had a wonderful stay at Edom Hotel. The location was excellent—very easy to find and just a 4-minute walk to the Petra Visitor Centre, which made our visit extremely convenient. Upon arrival, the staff warmly welcomed us, helped with our luggage, and brought it up to our rooms. The front desk receptionist was especially kind and thoughtful. He explained the opening times of Petra, gave us useful advice on arranging a guide, and even offered to extend our room until 2 pm so we could shower after our hike. Since we knew we would be spending longer inside Petra, we politely declined, but we truly appreciated the gesture and hospitality.
The hotel itself was spotless. Our room was beautifully set up, clean, and well prepared for us—we had no complaints at all. At this price point, Edom Hotel offers excellent value and a welcoming atmosphere. I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Petra.

The location is fantastic, just a 4 minute walk to the Petra entrance, and the hotel has a dedicated parking spot. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable.
The hotel overall could use some general renovations, but the rooms themselves and public toilets were in great condition. Breakfast was a bit limited (for example no scrambled eggs, only boiled), but their fig jam and tea were absolutely to die for.
The staff were very friendly, and the manager stood out as especially positive, helpful, and attentive. Overall, an amazing stay and excellent value for money.

Great value for money. The location is perfect if you plan on taking the hike of Petra afterwards because when you’re exhausted it’s good to have the hotel next to the entrance! The rooms were average with WiFi barely working in them (6th floor) but they do have a nice rooftop were it worked well! Unfortunately no one was working there so I can’t comment on the quality of beverages there.

Nice little hotel. Stayed here on the G Adventures tour. Friendly staff, clean and functional room. Hotel restaurant was great - I didn't expect much but it was wonderful with large platters, salads, chocolate cakes. Rooftop view. Highly recommend. Thank you

At the beginning of May, this year, my wife and I had the pleasure to visit the beautiful Petra, and stayed at the Edom Hotel, Petra for a few days. We were very impressed and satisfied with the conditions offered by this hotel, with the accommodation, the service and the extremely correct attitude and politeness of the hotel staff towards us.
As the main merits for the choice of the hotel and for the excellent quality of service, we can definitely point to the professionalism of the hotel manager Awn Hani Nawafleh.
