I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay at the City Hotel Apartments. When I booked this place, I expected a clean, comfortable accommodation with a level of service that matched the stated standards. However, the reality was quite different. Instead of the expected comfort, I encountered a dirty and unkempt environment, which is absolutely unacceptable for an apartment that bills itself as high-quality accommodation.

First of all, the condition of the apartment leaves much to be desired. Dirty dishes left in the kitchen indicate a complete lack of basic hygiene and respect for guests. Moreover, the furniture in the room was in disgusting condition – dirty stains and signs of wear on the sofas and chairs made it look like they hadn't been cleaned or updated in years. This is completely unacceptable. The knives were unsharpened, the cutlery was out of place, and there were no wine glasses.

Furthermore, the customer service at the City Hotel also leaves much to be desired. A prepayment was required for a late check-in at 5:00 PM, but upon arrival at that time, the room was unreadable. The drain in the kitchen was clogged, and someone's chewing gum was stuck to the countertop. Simply disgusting.

In the preliminary correspondence regarding the reservation, the hostess made sarcastic remarks.

When I announced my intention to check out the following day, I provoked a storm of indignation. The hostess and the manager arrived to resolve the issue, but I was met with a complete lack of interest in resolving the problem. Instead of apologies or suggestions for improving the situation, I received only complaints. This shows that City Hotel doesn't care about its image or customer satisfaction.

The hostess began making up rules on the fly that we hadn't discussed, including that weekend reservations are not allowed for just one night, that dogs are not allowed for one night, and so on. We hadn't discussed any of this in advance.

The owner's husband, by the way, is a very good man. Responsive and attentive.
