Silk Way in Kokshetau

Expensive, dirty, stained, washed-out bed linens. They didn't change them. We opened them and found hair all over them. We called the maid to change them. They didn't provide a cot for the child, but they charged for the bed. Three of us slept on the bed with two pillows and one blanket. The wallpaper was dirty. The service was mediocre. The room was cold; at night, we put on tracksuits and covered ourselves with down jackets because we only had one blanket for three people. When we booked, they quoted us a cheaper price. Upon arrival, they recalculated the amount twice, and both times they quoted different amounts, ending up with 13,500 tenge per night. A set meal with half a portion is 1,000 tenge. The room was cleaned, but they didn't provide shampoo. The soap was from the previous tenant. The only good thing is that they included breakfast. Not worth the money.

Does anyone read the hotel rules on 5 pages when checking in? That's what I trusted. The reception should verbally inform all clients about their internal rules, namely the word "day" the hotel "silkway" understands in my case as 16 hours. It turns out that having checked us in for a day, after 16 hours there is a new calculation for the second day without our knowledge. "If you check in at 9am, then at 12pm (after 3 hours) it is already a day*" 👎
