I really enjoyed my time in Borovoe — such a beautiful place with amazing nature and fresh air. 🍂 The atmosphere here is calm and relaxing, perfect for a cozy getaway. Both Silk Way and Chalet restaurants were wonderful. The food was delicious and beautifully served. I especially want to thank Bibi for her kind and attentive service — she made every visit so pleasant. And a special mention to Dinara, the bartender, for the warming tea she made for me on a chilly autumn day. It was exactly what I needed. Everything here feels welcoming and full of care. 💛

Excellent stay in the Kazakh winter.
The service was excellent, especially at the Chalet restaurant, with our table waited by Rinat.
Kazakh beef is a must have here.

The hotel is in a stunning location with amazing views – truly breathtaking. However, the room had an unpleasant sour smell, likely coming from the carpet, which affected the comfort of the stay. Additionally, the staff on the hotline or at the hotel phone desk were not proficient in English, making communication difficult. While the surroundings and scenery are excellent, the room condition and language barrier with staff need significant improvement.

I recently stayed at Rixos Borovoe with my husband who has GOLD ALL status. The hotel is very beautiful. The service is exceptional. Everyone is very helpful and accommodating to our needs. Restaurant Chalet has such a beautiful interior as well as nice food and beverage items. Restaurant L’Olivo had big variety of breakfast items, deserts and drinks.
Special thanks to restaurant manager Diana and staff as well as girls from Guest Relations (especially Kamila) for looking after us during our stay 🥰

Our visit turned into a disappointment. On the territory of the Rixos Borovoe hotel there is the “Chalet” restaurant, where we planned to spend the evening. But we were simply not allowed in. At the entrance to the hotel grounds, our car was stopped and we were told that without paying a deposit we could not enter. It felt as if guests were treated as potential offenders or people who could not be trusted. We came specifically to the restaurant to spend a significant amount, but instead of hospitality we were met with humiliation and refusal. Such a practice is absolutely inconsistent with international standards of hotel and restaurant service. Rixos positions itself as a high-level brand, but in reality guests are met with barriers and bureaucracy. The impression is extremely negative. We believe that this approach undermines trust in the Rixos brand and discourages any desire to return. I do not recommend the “Chalet” restaurant or the service at Rixos Borovoe to anyone who values respectful treatment and civilized standards of hospitality.

A luxurious hotel, cozy rooms, large well-kept territory, private beach, spa, quality massage, swimming pool, football field, tennis court both indoor and outdoor, bicycles. Several restaurants for every taste, excellent cuisine. I was pleasantly surprised that such a quality hotel with decent service is here in Kazakhstan. Everything is top notch, just super.

I will still leave 5 stars, but I will recommend the waiters to be more attentive. The bill was brought unexpectedly, although we were waiting for dessert. And our dessert was taken to another table, which was waiting for the bill. I liked the summer terrace. Good seasonal menu. The crayfish soup is specific, with a river smell, an acquired taste. Otherwise, good.
