Hotel BaYan in Shymkent

Prices here are slightly lower than the city average. I stayed in Suite 101, which consists of two rooms and a bathroom. The renovations are inexpensive and quite dated.
What I liked 👍: The room is spacious, with a large refrigerator and ample wardrobe space. There's a desk for working. There's a bidet. Hourly extensions are available at a reasonable price.
What I didn't like 👎: The room was chilly in early April; the heating was off, and the air conditioner didn't work properly in heating mode. The shower drain is poorly functioning, and it takes a very long time for the water to drain. The receptionist, Altyn, sometimes reacts irritably to guests' perfectly reasonable requests.

🛑 Overall, this hotel can be considered an alternative to renting an apartment.

Clean, cozy, affordable, I liked everything, a suite for 15,000 per night, breakfast included, simple but delicious – porridge, eggs, yogurt, coffee, and tea. The room itself is neat, a little tired, but overall fine. There's a hairdryer, toiletries, robes, and slippers. Two bottles of water in the room. The staff is pleasant.

This is my second year staying there. I really like the mattress. I used to stop staying there because it was cold and dirty, but recently I had to because I was tired of looking for an apartment. I was pleasantly surprised that it's warm, cozy, and clean again. The parking lot is secure and the check-in is easy, the admin is incredibly polite, and overall, it's just perfect for a good night's sleep and then moving on.
