Inexpensive hotels in Shymkent

Very nice hotel in the center of Shymkent. I recommend visiting during a stopover in the city or for a transfer. A taxi ride to the hotel takes 20 minutes and is quite cheap, there is a shopping center nearby

Quite reasonable price for a4 star hotel, at least during winter. Eating at the Kazakh restaurant next to the hotel is a must,!! Delicious and affordable. I recommend you to stay here!

2 things - (1) should have fly screen, to avoid mosquito. Room can be quite warm even in late November. (2) Stayed in different rooms on different week. Both times, the bar fridge isn’t cold

Staff were okay and accommodating most of the time. We had problems with the room temperature being too hot and the only solution given was "open the window. " However, it did become better the next day

The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious and the rooms were clean and cozy. If you want a hotel from which you can easily explore the city then you definitely have to stay at Aidana Plaza Hotel

The room was clean, the bed was large, and the location was good. It's a short walk to a pedestrian street and shopping mall, and there are many coffee shops nearby. The hotel staff on the first floor work until 3 AM

The suite is quite comfortable and is a good value hotel in Kazakhstan. Turn left and walk along the sidewalk after leaving the hotel. Turn left and there is a good restaurant. The name is in the third picture

It is not listed in reviews and TripAdvisor. The taste is very good and the price is touching. It is not easy for two people to eat for more than 200 yuan. Those who cannot drink alcohol should pay attention

Excellent location, within walking distance of shopping centers, shops, restaurants, water park. Huge comfortable room with spacious bathroom and work area. Breakfasts are excellent, very tasty

Good hotel with good service, but be aware if you are foreigner and you come to check in late at night the is good chance if you don’t speak Russian or Kazakh there will be some language difficulties

I'm very apreciated about the Tourist Hotel service for cleaning my room and breakfast at bed ;0) My room had brand new interier. So quiet place with nice view and lot of space for rest and living.

Here you can eat prepared food and store in a fridge. The rooms are all nice and include their own bathroom. This hostel is one of the most modern I have yet come across. It's really nice and spacious

Be aware not to mix the City Hostel with the City Hotel. Both their entrances are on the same street and near to each other. No proper kitchen, however, there is a large room with a lot of seating

Second night here now, but I might stay longer. It's a very well-kept hostel with helpful staff. Price is 5,000 tenge for a dorm bed, and you may end up with a private room if no one comes

You basically just follow the street alongside the entrance, drive right, and right again, and then right into a parking space, and then left into a secluded gated parking space

The rooms are big and well equipped but filthy, the employees aren’t nice nor efficient.

He was so accommodating and helped me in every way that he could. Thanks to his help I could book a train back to Almaty and left safely. The only thing I would add for perfect service is breakfast, even if it's paid

All shared cabs start from the hotel entrance and cost about 1500-2000 tenge. Chyngyz at the front desk was super helpful and protective, he really helped me to fetch a taxi across the border
