Truly loved our stay at Alton Oimok. Amazing breakfast, beautiful room and services, super nice staff. We even had a lovely workshop doing the traditional carpet on-site. Truly recommend it!

We went for the carpet masterclass and had such a cool experience. The team was so skilled and kind, sharing their knowledge and experience and the stories. The precision of their movements was made more impressive when it was our turn to handle the wool. The amount of time and energy that goes into each of the pieces has made us appreciate the work that we've seen across kyrgyzstan that much more

Great hostel in the middle of the Town with the owner and the whole family who are super welcoming and supportive for giving tips and sharing contacts for eagle tour. The breakfeast is delicious. All the room and the bathroom/shower are super clean. A great stay and highly recommended!

Very nice guesthouse, clean rooms and bathroom! A good breakfast as well. Family running the guest house were very nice and helpful! Reccomend doing the carpet making show at the back of the guest house and go to their souvenir shop they have amazing hand made things!

My driver brought me here after a log day of sight seeing and trekking in fairytale canyon. Received a warm friendly welcome had a good nights sleep and a hearty breakfast

It's a great guest house. We were a little uncertain after reading some reviews about extra charges but I now believe that it must have been a misunderstanding, they are lovely, honest people. If you have dinner there is an extra charge. The bathrooms were clean and the beds comfortable and the hostess was helpful arranging taxis and outings.

This was one of the nicest guesthouses we stayed with on your road trip. I had also left my ski jacket at this guesthouse and your host arranged to be picked up and delivered to me in the next city. I would recommend your stay here.

The southern shore of Issyk Kul is a gem unlike the northern. We stayed at Gulmira's homestay and had the most wonderful time. Everything is Organic and grown in their own backyard. Her jams are extremely yummy by the way. She is a chef and an awesome host. Her son is equally hospitable and advised us on many things here in Kyrgyzstan. Will be visiting again for sure.

We stayed in the country for 3 months and it was our first guesthouse.. and the best ! As soon we arrived we felt like in our family. The food was amazing (Nurgul ensured that we always finished our plate even if there was a lot :). The room is very clean. Also Nurgul loved to talk. Despite we couldnt talk english together, it forced us to learn basic russian & kyrgiz (and google translate worked well...

This brand new guesthouse is very clean and well kept. It's in a quiet neighborhood about 1.6km from the town. The family that run this place are so warm and kind! They truly treat guests like family. We had a delicious breakfast and dinner every day of our stay and Nurgul always offered us tea and biscuits when we returned from exploring. We stopped here for a late lunch as part of our group tour in mid November. It was freezing cold but we warmed up quickly inside the large warm yurt. We were served a lunch of soup, casserole and salad. The service was friendly and attentive, food was tasty. Toilets onsite were clean. Also offer guest house accommodation.

We stayed only one night after Ak-Suu traverse, in a clay “yurt”. Very clean, great bathroom with hot water, lots of power sockets in the room. Very good service. Meals fresh and very tasty with vegetarian options served in big, cosy yurt.
