Truly loved our stay at Alton Oimok.
Amazing breakfast, beautiful room and services, super nice staff. We even had a lovely workshop doing the traditional carpet on-site. Truly recommend it!

We went for the carpet masterclass and had such a cool experience. The team was so skilled and kind, sharing their knowledge and experience and the stories. The precision of their movements was made more impressive when it was our turn to handle the wool. The amount of time and energy that goes into each of the pieces has made us appreciate the work that we've seen across kyrgyzstan that much more.

We came for a masterclass on shyrdak—the traditional Kyrgyz handicraft of felt carpet making—and it was a fantastic experience. We spent over two hours there, gaining insight into the art, craftsmanship, and intricate techniques behind these beautiful rugs. It was both educational and genuinely enjoyable. There's also a lovely souvenir shop that we simply couldn't resist! It's worth highlighting that by visiting, you're directly supporting local female entrepreneurs and helping preserve an important cultural tradition.

Great hostel in the middle of the Town with the owner and the whole family who are super welcoming and supportive for giving tips and sharing contacts for eagle tour. The breakfeast is delicious. All the room and the bathroom/shower are super clean. A great stay and highly recommended!

Very nice guesthouse, clean rooms and bathroom! A good breakfast as well. Family running the guest house were very nice and helpful! Reccomend doing the carpet making show at the back of the guest house and go to their souvenir shop they have amazing hand made things!

I had a wonderful stay at Altyn Oimok. The house is very big and beautiful, with very nice rooms and large, new bathrooms- the best I’ve seen in a guesthouse in Kyrgyzstan. Breakfast was also delicious. But most importantly, the family are so warm and generous. They really made me feel at home, and went out of their way to help me recover a lost phone (left in a car on the way there).
Added to this, the house also adjoins the felt/crafts workshop - recognised as one of the best in Kyrgyzstan.
I couldn’t recommend this guesthouse more. The best!

Not really great. Hosts were not present at all, no help or advice to visit around, bed are the worst bed ever! Even sleeping in a tent is more confortable!
I do not recommand, but shower is good and hot, guest house is clean and large, and good situation near the center of the village.
