Where to stay in Kadzhi-Say

Very calm wonderful place with many creative structures

Beautiful garden space and comfortable rooms. The staff was so helpful with everything we needed, and the food was delicious. We got to do an excursion with their guide to Skaska and the waterfalls and it was truly an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this guide as he is a local and will show you all the best spots and tell you all the legends. They also helped us arrange a ride back to...

Responsive staff and beautiful garden. Good heating at night.

This is a mini hotel with different conditions in the rooms. We lived with our family in a “comfort” room, 1,300 soms for one person per night (5,200 soms for four). Two rooms, shared shower and toilet. One room has a double bed, the other has two single beds, a refrigerator, TV, soap, towels for everyone. It's a shame that there wasn't a closet to put things in, or at least hangers with hooks to hang...

Still we here But at first wanted change our location The place very cosy, but u have everything for comfort Nature very different We was surprised, didn't expect such a lot of interesting and nice places. Well!!! We recommend this place, absolutely!

🇫🇷🇧🇾 We had a perfect stay at this guesthouse ! The view on the lake from our cottage was beautiful, lovely when you wake up and open the door. The hosts are so kind and welcoming. The breakfast was fresh and generous, very tasty. I would recommend going there when you’re around this area, if you plan to visit the Skazka Canyon, or if you want to rest in front of the Issyk kul lake for example ! Thank...

I was 2 nights there and it was 100% chillout for me. The place is calm and all people are very friendly. I only need an electric kettle in the house to make tea or coffe on my own. Near is a hotel Goryachiy Istochnik Nur where are hot springs in open air and fish pedicure.

A little bit old but very nice and unique place. It is directly at the beach (what is not often the case at the south shore) We had our own little cabin. Hot shower, towel and WiFi is there too. The owner speaks good English and there are many sights around (fairy Tale Canyon, waterfalls, hiking etc...) There is also a restaurant which serves for 150-300 som Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. It is very delicious...

If you are looking for the local experience while in Issik kul, this is the place. It is a soviet"pensionat", a place where everyone during the Soviet Union times people was sent for vacation. Everything is mostly untouched from those times. Our room was big. We had a shared bathroom with the next room. Near the beach, which is nice.

We Stayed for one night as part of a group tour. Arrived early evening in the dark and rain so a little chaotic as we were a large group. Rooms were basic a little on the small side but clean and comfortable. Breakfast (Omelette or porridge accompanied with fruit bread and homemade jam) was preordered and served in the covered courtyard. The grounds are interesting and quirky. There was no porter service...

Originally built by a Kazakhstani film-maker as somewhere for actors and crew to stay while on location. The current owner has collected all manner of props-like ephemera - from televisions to dolls, irons and a diving suit - arranged around the leafy courtyard. The restaurant is similarly striking and serves excellent food. Bedrooms are basic but perfectly clean and comfortable. Just a few minutes...

Stayed for 1 night as part of a 31 person tour with Mercury Holidays. We should provide context to the review as previously we had stayed in a very nice 4* hotel in Bishkek and were anticipating a similar standard. If we had booked the Art Hotel at the TA going rate and were looking for a cheap and cheerful stay we might have a different view. Pros: Clean room, nice garden, quiet location , close...

Beutyful place but no air in the room and not so clean.

Interesting place with lots of vintage stuff. Short small beds and tiny rooms. Your window is on the same open corridor where other guests go. Very kind and attentive hosts yet I consider this hotel overpriced for not comfortable lodging.

Great museumlike place with nice and clean rooms

I had one of a kind experience at Taj Altyn. Thank you Raj for taking so good care of us. The place is beautifully maintained unlike most of the hotel. Me and my family loved sitting under the tapchans with fruit trees all around.

The room is generally not bad, initially clean, but they do not clean at all, you have to ask for everything you need (kettle, mugs, garbage bag, toilet paper) yourself. There is an unpleasant smell in the room, most likely from the sewer. Of the pluses, I would like to note the excellent garden at the hotel, a lot of beautiful flowers, beautiful trestle beds for relaxation, apricot trees and cherry...

I would say Taj Altyn is one of the best hotels in Kaji-Say. The rooms are super clean and fresh. The location is excellent as it is within 5 minutes of walking distance to the beach and shops around. The hotel has a very nice garden, which is full of fruits like apricot, apple and some cherries, where you can pick and eat. The owner, Raj, and his wife are very friendly. The staff named Kutu and a...

The location of the hotel is quite strategic and the lake bank is just 100 meters from the hotel. Rooms are spacious. The beddings are neat and clean. Food is delicious. Must visit place if one is visiting Kaji Say.

We stayed at Taj Altyn for two nights. The location is convenient to visit main sights in the area (like the fairy tale canyon and the lake shore). The hotel is almost brand new, clean and has everything you need. The hosts are very friendly and always willing to help. We loved the fruit trees in the garden.

Very nice stay & peaceful life

A wonderful, welcoming, and cozy home. The rooms are very clean, the hostess Elena is a warm person, the breakfasts are delicious and healthy, and Natalia's garden deserves special praise—so much work and care has gone into this place. Thank you for your hospitality. We will definitely be back.

I visited this guesthouse in mid-Oct, unfortunately it is closed off season.

The guesthouse's name truly lives up to its name! The rooms are cozy and the interior is beautiful. I'd like to thank the hostess, Elena, for her hospitality and the warm, magical atmosphere she's created here!

A great place for a family vacation, and not only that, the rooms are very clean, the bedding is good, and it's cozy. The grounds are beautiful and green, with gazebos. The breakfast was fantastic. I loved everything and want to come back.

Host is amazing facilities are in great shape. Just bring your Russian translator English is not spoken by staff.

Very good stay. Rooms were amazing with view on the lake. Good breakfast. Staff was not very welcoming (probably due to language barrier)

We had a pleasant two-night stay at Sham. Booking directly via WhatsApp was easy, and they were helpful in answering our questions while planning the trip. We stayed in a lake view room, the view was lovely and peaceful. Both evenings, we picked up takeaway dinner and ate on the balcony, enjoying the scenery and sunset over Issyk Kul. The location worked well for us, just a 20-minute drive to Skazka...

I really enjoyed my stay at Shams. The hotel offers an amazing view of the lake, which made the experience unforgettable. The rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable, and the service is always attentive and friendly. Everything was well-organized, and I felt truly welcomed during my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and pleasant getaway

A wonderful place with a cozy atmosphere. We've been twice, and both times we were impressed. The second time, we went with a large family, and everyone loved it. Delicious breakfasts and dinners with sunset and lake views. We recommend it to anyone who hasn't been there yet.

We vacationed in the summer of 2021. Very sincere and everything is super!!! We will only go to this cozy and hospitable house.

Class!!! The hostess is hospitable. Everything is clean and homely. I recommend it to everyone!!!

Very cozy, clean, comfortable house with a luxurious well-kept garden. Thanks to the owner!!!

We rested in the Elena guest house on the southern shore of Issyk-Kul in August 2018, with a large group of 3 families (13 people). I would like to say a big thank you to the owner of the house, Elena, for creating excellent living conditions for her guests. The house has everything you need for cooking and for good rest. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, down to the smallest detail...

Really good choice for those who are looking to find a peaceful and healthy environment. The host provides the utmost assistance in order to let you feel at easy. Highly recommended.

I didn’t stay at the hotel itself, but I visited the restaurant a couple of times during my time around Issyk-Kul. The hotel is still partially under construction, but even at this stage it looks ambitious and has the feel of somewhere that could become one of the area’s standout places to stay. The grounds and facilities already look impressive, and it’s easy to see the direction they’re heading...

Modern room. Take note not all rooms have lake view. No mineral water bottle so had to refill using dispenser beside the lift. No TV but it's ok. Staff were nice and friendly. Even the technician and the guy in army clothing talked to me. Saw a gaming room with PCs and PS5. They have massage, sauna, a big gym, swimming pool at the building in front

Amazing yourt camp on the sourt shore of Issyk-Kul!. We stayed here with kids and loved the authentic nomadic experience. The youths are clean and cozy, the staff is very welcoming, and the rare is beautiful. Perfect for families who want to experience Kyrgyz culture and nature .Highly recommended if you want something different from regular hotels!

Brand new building hotel with Issyk kul lake view. Still some construction outside building. Fresh bright room. Simple breakfast. Just pity the hot water is not hot. Alrdy complain to reception, still same in morning as well. Our group also have dinner here, but food is bad, again so pity.

Amazing place to stay, run by the sweetest and most helpful family! You can truly relax here and enjoy a delicious meal :) Totally recommend!

There are two yurt camps in this valley. We stayed at the one named Mars Canyon Yurt Camp (on booking) which is a bit further from the main road than the other one. Great accommodation. Nice warm showers and a good breakfast as well.

A wonderful place to unwind from the hustle and bustle. And the food!? It's simply top-notch, finger-licking good. The lamb on the tandoor—the tender, juicy meat melts in your mouth! The skewered meat is simply beyond words; you have to try it for yourself. As we say in Kyrgyz, "Degen da Armanda, zhebegen da Armanda." The staff is very hospitable. The place itself is practically sacred.
