Hotels in Toktogul

The booking included breakfast, and the hotel supposedly offers breakfast. However, we didn't get any because "the chef was sick." According to other reviews, it seems to happen regularly (always?) that the hotel doesn't offer the booked breakfast. That's not okay. Otherwise, the room was new and clean, there's parking, and apart from the breakfast, everything was fine.

Glad I stayed here in my way back to Bishkek after hiking in Sary mogul in the south. The room is very clean, the mattress is firm and very nice to sleep on.  Best of all is the breakfast. I told the staff I have a stomach upset because I had too much milk products in the south. On the way to Osh, we were too tired after arriving in one day, so we stopped here to rest. It was newly renovated and very clean. The parking lot is large and self-driving friendly. The boss lady went to school in Guilin, Guangxi. Did you feel that?

We had an amazing stay here. Instead of one night we ended up staying for four nights. Everything was very clean, the kitchen is well equipped and the location is good. You can do great hikes just starting from the guesthouse. The host is very nice and helpful. I forgot my charger there and he brought it to Bishkek, so I got it back. Thanks for the great time.

I stayed there twice. When I first arrived, a nice old man put me up in a nice room for 1,000 som. Then, three days later, I came back again. The old man put me in the same room. And I realized that even though I made my bed, no one had cleaned it.

Good rooms with shared bathroom, price was 700 som. For additional 100 som I got a good breakfast. It was a bit cold beginning of October and the room was not heated. Not a lot to do around here but good stopping point between Osh and Bishkek.

This isn't a hotel, it's a hostel. They have rooms with several beds, and some with private bathrooms and others with shared bathrooms. Most rooms are clean and tidy. They offer laundry and ironing services, and there's a shared kitchen. The location is near the main road leading to Osh. The hostel's staff wasn't very helpful.

Absolutely amazed! Showed up without a booking to ask if a bed was available and they greeted me with open arms and a great price. Location was ideal because I needed to be at the bus station early the next morning and it’s about a 2 minute walk. Really nice guest house. Welcoming family. The place is really tidy, clean and cozy. Bikepacking in Middle East and this is the best place for a night spot after crossing the mountains. Easy to connect with other guests. Really enjoyed it 😊

Close to all the things one might want to see in this city, and the rooms are nice. Although the gym is open until 9:30, it was totally quite in our room even though the gym was full. Only complaint: in the winter the room gets a little cold at night, and you've got to sleep with the heater facing you to be comfortable. Would come back!

May 2024. Great place to stop on the way Osh-Bishkek and have a look at Toktogul reservoir. The owner is very nice and helpful. She also speaks perfect English 👌 The rooms are well priced and comfortable. Bathrooms are kept clean and showers have hot water. It is amazing place, run by passionate family, lovely garden, excellent tasty food and warm hospitality! It is one of the best places I have stayed, clean and very efficient. She speaks perfect English and always ready to help. Her father and mother are kind and warm hearted, even though they didn't speak English, we communicated without problems! We stopped in this town on our journey from Bishkek to Osh to break up the trip. There isn't a great deal to do here, but it's a pleasant place for a stopover. You can go hiking or visit the nearby lake, which is clean and suitable for swimming. This inn is an excellent place to stay. Had a wonderful stay at this guest house. Friendly and very helpful family. Rooms were comfortable. Beds may need to be replaced though. Too squeaky and bouncy.

We stayed in a double room with bathroom ensuite without AC, for 1,000 som per person including breakfast, and dinner was optional for 450 som per person. Very friendly and helpful people. Inside parking gave us a peace of mind. Cool rooms in June with comfortable beds let us rest after a long trip. Nice breakfast. I liked the apricot jam!

Used Kagan as a car rental. The car was pretty good for the fair asking price. They were also able to take care of the permits and everything. We had a couple of times where we wished they were more helpful but overall there was nothing to complain about. 5 stars because I would rent from them again when I come back to Kyrgyzstan.
