Great place to stay overnight after a long journey, we have been staying here for the 3rd time for the second year in a row! The rooms are clean, the staff is polite and friendly! 👍

I don't like to be too negative to small businesses because it clearly harms their reputation but this place needs to understand that rooms like these are simply not acceptable. 4* for a comfy experience overall. Room was a little small but that's only because it was dwarfed by a wonderful huge bed. Good bath/shower, but no bin in the bedroom! The private sauna was a big bonus but it struggled to get much over 40-50°, Also bench in the sauna was installed at a well wonky angle, encouraging a faceplant into the coals! Okay place, we stayed in the main building, it is very dated like stepping back in time. There was the largest bed we have ever seen. In some ways it felt like a brothel because there were mirrors everywhere. However we would return again. The breakfast was really good

Compare with the price, pretty comfortable and cosy. Close to the bus stop in the main street. You can take a bus fronlm there and you can arrive to airport in 15 minutes or arrive to old town Riga in 10 minutes. Staff is polite and helpful.

The place is just great. The machine is placed directly under the door PTS. nice rooms, to the old town 3 euros by taxi (ask at the reception - cause). Quiet, comfortable, polite, clean.

It is good for the most money. It is not modern. But it works . And we could sleep and it was silent. Generally I recommend it.

If you are a student, or just a person on a budget and want to save money, it's a good option for you. It's very plain, but with cheap prices. We stayed in the cheapest rooms, and for us it was okay. Because we really were on budget. Simple 4 bed rooms, public toilet and shower on our floor. Very reasonable for us. Don't expect something too cool or comfortable.

Staff polite and helpful, place reasonably clean. Strong smell of dust in layers of curtains. Restaurant prices democratic quality of pork fillets on stick 2/5, no sides were offered with them, so lean dinner. Breakfast, 3/5. General stay was average, location brilliant.

Location for the traveller is five minutes walk from the airport bus #22. Five minutes to the old town. Easy to find. Quirky homely style in common areas and rooms. Great buffet breakfast choice. Superb value. Commended.

High price does not match the quality. Shows that there is AC but it’s not working, so really bad to stay during hot summer night. Also, very noisy outside, next to the train station and main road.

Great location not far from sea and main beach. Wellcoming and friendly staff. Great breakfast. But conditioner was not cooling down temperature in room while leaving windows open isnt great option as our windows was with exit on main street and it is loud that way. Utilitys in bathroom also needs refreshment, as for this price range it is unacceptable to have rusty holders.

Super helpful staff, convenient walkable location in Old Town, but still close to transport hubs (tram, airport bus.) My room had an HVAC unit which was a great bonus. Very close to bars/shops/restaurants but still lovely quiet location.

Why not Perfect location but as a whole a bit outdated. Old is not always boutique and romantic. But friendly staff and good price helped a lot.

Great location in the Old Town. Friendly & very helpful staff. My room was nice & cozy. My room was immaculate & had everything I needed. The breakfast was superb, the choice of food was very good (both the hot & cold options) The Hotel restaurant (Italian) was good too. I definitely recommend the pizza & the tiramisu. I also would recommend this hotel as it was great value.

The hostel is closed to the Central bus station which is convenient for travellers arrived by bus. The distance from old town is likely 15mins walk, which is acceptable for me. The entrance is locked. Travellers need other to open the door for you if you’re first time to go in.

Perfect location (3 min to the beach), really comfortable beds, and ample space for a family to spend a few relaxed days. 2 full bathrooms (1 shower, 1 bath) and 2 balconies with outdoors furniture provide that extra bit of comfort that does make a difference. BTW, in a wonderfully equipped kitchen some additional kitchenware like baking paper and oven proof dishware would have been nice.

It was good. They had a water dispenser at the lobby so I was able to drink the water every time i wanted to. There is a sauna but with extra pay. Unfortunately I don’t know how much. The hotel have comfortable beds. Location is really great and I liked it

Great small hotel just a short walk away from the beach. There is a restaurant downstairs that serves all day long (recommend chicken cutlets!) with a good selection. Swimming pool is a good size, but we only went once because the beach is amazing. There is a bus stop right next to the hotel so you can travel in Jurmala quite easily. And the railroad just a short walk away (trip to Riga in 20 min)...

Amazing apartment, comfortable and perfect location. Staff accommodating. Only downside was carrying a large suitcase up two flights of stairs which were steep. Also the constant banging from another room shame.

I have seen a thing that should hotel management pay attention to, the front door is proximity sensed and open each time when pedestrians pass by, a huge waste of energy.

I stayed here for an extended time for work. It is an interesting looking hotel in a decent location with lots of shops, resturants and the old city in walking distance. We were so happy to stay at Lighthouse Hotel once again — it’s not our first time here, and definitely not the last. Nice venue, pretty decent meals and lovely waiters and hostess. However, perhaps a bit too overpriced for the area, and specially for what the staff gets paid.

We thought we would do a long weekend trip to Riga but decided to stay in the resort town of Jurmala. We close this hotel as it seemed to have character and be well positioned within the town. It is clean, comfortable, well run and all at a very fair price. It is not a grand or smart hotel so don't expect extra frills. I would recommend it.

I liked everything - excelent location, nice cozy room, nice view from balcony (pine trees, narrow street, going from center to the sea, resort type wooden houses,flowers aroud them and seagulls on roofs). Really great breakfest - great variety, good taste (reason - everything is fresh, homemade and from natural local products). One more plus - parking in the yard. So I certainly will stay here...
