Perfect location but as a whole a bit outdated. Old is not always boutique and romantic. But friendly staff and good price helped a lot.
My room was immaculate & had everything I needed. The breakfast was superb, the choice of food was very good (both the hot & cold options) The Hotel restaurant (Italian) was good too. I definitely recommend the pizza & the tiramisu. I also would recommend this hotel as it was great value.
Room clear and convenient to everywhere
The ladies on reception speak very good English, rooms are compact but have a comfortable bed and a good shower in the ensuite .
A very nice continental breakfast with lots of choice , more than plenty to eat . Then of course the excellent location in the old town, the breakfast room doubles up as an Italian restaurant in the evening.
There is a great Belgian beer pub liberally 50 yards away . Finally excellent value for money .
Cons: hair all over the bed linen, almost no natural light in the room, marks and stains on the wall and some places, mould in the bathroom, cold room despite leaving the heater on maximum on all day.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend because of the hair issues.
