5* hotel on the beach for poor Russian oligarchs. Fantastic location, hands down, doesn't get much better in Jūrmala

We were not staying at this hotel but we had come to Jurmala that day to see the Baltic Sea. After briefly wading into the beautiful sea on a rainy day, we decided to have breakfast at the Baltic Sea Hotel and Spa

We chose not to partake of the buffet. Instead, we ordered pancakes with salmon caviar, which came with a serving of sour cream (it was particularly exciting to eat caviar in a former Soviet Union member country)

The Baltic Sea Beach Hotel is great, comfortable, close to the seaside, so beautiful, I like it here very much, the environment and service of the entire hotel are very good, super nice

We also ordered cottage cheese pancakes, which was accompanied by raspberry chutney and forest berries. To drink, we had a cafe latte and an Americano coffee. Both of the pancake dishes were excellent

Our waitress was very helpful and did an overall excellent job. The main thing was the view: we were seated by the window, so we looked out over the vast and beautiful Baltic Sea

I liked it very much, the quiet environment of the house, the beach is nearby, the hosts are wonderful, they helped with all the issues that arose. A big thank you. A good week...

Very good place but the weather is not great but still good. I visited 2 years ago, Thanks for posting the WiFi password, we had so much fun! I think we will book a ticket next time

Hotel Jūrmala spa is located in a quiet and rich location in jurmala. The rooms are ok and not too fancy, expect the basic facilities. The spa is good and must be tried. Location is very quiet and next to beach

The wellness oasis had several different saunas, the salt sauna was very appreciated. Nice, clean room, with a great view of the green surroundings from our 8th floor. Breakfast had something for every taste

I didn't stayed in a hotel there but I always visiting the spa centre. I like to get professional massage there with pearl bath. Good price €130 for a couple one hour massage and 30 min pearl bath. Very good staff.

I stayed at the lilule jurmala for a few days with my children. I had a family room which did the trick. The rooms aren’t huge by any means but there is a separate room for adults and bunk beds for the kids

We stayed for just one night and absolutely loved the experience! The highlight was the unlimited access to the stunning spa, which felt both relaxing and luxurious, definitely worth it

We also treated ourselves to a romantic massage for two, and honestly, it was one of the best massages we’ve ever had. A truly memorable stay, even if only for one night

Nice, modern, and clean hotel just a 5-minute walk from a beautiful Baltic white sand beach

The massage was good too—though not as relaxing as I expected. The therapist decided to work through all my tense muscles, perhaps a bit too enthusiastically. The restaurant is rather expensive, and the food was average

4 stars overall because reception was less than inviting, specifically one of the two women being of a very grumpy disposition and incompatible for the role greeting people

Nice hotel with a good view and quick check-in/out. I’d say it has everything you need for a short break. The swimming pool is lovely, and there are two saunas

The Spa treatment, was provided by an excellent technician and I appreciated the after treatment tea area

My room was very spacious and cozy, though a few maintenance issues were noticeable, especially the two sofas (appreciated) showed some wear and a few areas could use extra attention

Still, it didn’t diminish the overall comfort of the stay. Breakfast was excellent, particularly for a Nordic hotel, and the rooftop dining experience is a real highlight

The rooftop restaurant offers breathtaking views, and blankets are provided in the evening for extra comfort — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring

There’s also a bowling area, although access is reserved for groups. It is big, six lanes it can host up to 50 players, the rental price includes all you might need and it is not expensive

From the moment I arrived, the hotel impressed with its well-maintained common areas and thoughtful touches

The facilities and amenities were complete, and I appreciated having a kettle, tea & coffee, also a refrigerator in the room. The service was friendly and efficient, and the breakfast met the standards of a 4-star hotel

Settlement nearby less than 30min walk (bus available) Great beach nearby and lots of tracks for bikes (can be rented at nearby Neptune restaurant or in the town of Kaugari)

Also pleasant place to swim and play beach sports!!! Sports facilities are limited but there is a gym and one can rent tennis for 15€ an hour in the neighbouring health centre

Excellent range of medical facilities make this the one effect place for medical treatment and a great place to meet grandparents, great grandparents etc

Modern rooms on the top feature everything one needs and cheap prices in Latvian shops nearby mean that one will have a pleasant experience regardless

Good food 3 times a day with cheap food on 9th floor up to 6-7pm and more expensive (but still reasonable) food downstairs until later

Super traditional and quiet atmosphere. Private car park and close to other facilities, town centre and beach. Excellent menu catering for most tastes and attentive staff

Authentic hotel in the late Art Nouveau style with its own history, offering a great location in Jurmala. The exterior is impressive, while the interior is decent but the rooms are slightly worn

Big room, great location! But quite a lot of maintenance issues, thus over-proces: air condition did not work, sink drain was leaking, wifi unstable, very noisy fridge. Prepare for paying extra for sauna etc.

They’re always sparkling clean and well-equipped with everything we might need - it really makes a difference when traveling with kids! The staff go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and cared for, and we’ve always felt incredibly well looked after

We had an issue with the TV'S sound but we called the administration and it got fixed 👍 The spa was very nice too, it had two saunas, a big pool, childrens pool area and two bubble baths/jacuzzi's

We got to our room and it was quite small but enough for us! There was a bedroom, bathroom with a sauna in it, living room with a sofa that could be made into a bed and a balcony

Breakfast was absolutely fantastic with multiple choices being available and submitted the night before along with a preferred time to eat in the morning. Food was prepared, cooked and served spot-on

Lift installed at the hotel and would recommend without question. The only thing to mention is that the town of Liepaja itself is no great shakes apart from the concert hall which is magnificent

We loved our family stay in Sunset hotel very much. Just about 200 metres to the beach. Private parking available. Soundproof rooms. Very friendly and pleasant owner.

Quite economy ppace to stay 5 minutes away from beach. Rooms were quite small and parking quite busy.

I was here with our choir in 90s. I adopted a little cat from this street near hotel and took to Ukraine. Called her like (I think it was a owner of hotel) Kristina. So if you know her say hello from me from Ukraine)

We had a mix up with our end of the reservation and they were still willing to keep good service level and I cant do anything but recommend Sunset for accommondation

The Sunset Hotel is a perfect base camp for adventures in Jurmala. Nothing too fancy but the receptionist Anzor will do anything that you can enjoy your stay

Perfect place to enjoy real spirit of Jurmala. Hotel is placed in old(renovated) house and it's located about 5 min walk from the Riga gulf.

We really liked this hotel because it is close to the sea, has an attractive price, has a private courtyard where you can park your car, it is easy and very quick to reserve a place, it is quiet and peaceful

Pros: the sea is very close, silence, as if the sound was turned off, even strange. We lived in a room with a balcony, and there are only 4 of them in the entire building. The bed is comfortable, the linen is clean

Everything is old fashioned and in need of a refurbishment. There are two tattered chairs on the balcony. In the photo, there was a kettle in the kitchen, in reality it was not, but there was a microwave

😂 Or is it designed to take a computer and an HDMI cable with you? When we arrived, the smell in the building was not very pleasant, as if the floor had been washed with an old rag

A very cozy place! The pond in the courtyard is beautiful. We booked a room with a terrace/kitchenette. Everything was spotless! The towels were snow-white. The shared bathroom was a pleasant surprise

4 places apartment nice and very clean with kitchen and bathroom. Not big private teritory with BBQ. Owners was very kind. Rooms are cleaned every day.

Laundry facilities were available. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances—a stove, kettle, coffee maker, and refrigerator

Thanks to the owners, everything was fine. Great service. We took a room with a terrace. They were very satisfied.

Great small hotel just a short walk away from the beach. There is a restaurant downstairs that serves all day long (recommend chicken cutlets!) with a good selection

Swimming pool is a good size, but we only went once because the beach is amazing. There is a bus stop right next to the hotel so you can travel in Jurmala quite easily

And the railroad just a short walk away (trip to Riga in 20 min). Cleaning service is excellent and friendly. Front desk was overall friendly (when smiling!) Highly recommend, would return

Light House Jurmala restaurant has very unique, very calm and relaxed atmosphere. While seating in the restaurant, the feeling is as if you are in the beach, you will enjoy it. Food is great, with variety of choices

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which I truly appreciated. However, I didn’t receive what I had actually ordered

And of course, the restaurant remains one of the very best in Jūrmala. Thank you once again for creating such a beautiful space and atmosphere — it always leaves us feeling recharged and inspired

I liked everything - excelent location, nice cozy room, nice view from balcony (pine trees, narrow street, going from center to the sea, resort type wooden houses,flowers aroud them and seagulls on roofs)

We thought we would do a long weekend trip to Riga but decided to stay in the resort town of Jurmala. We close this hotel as it seemed to have character and be well positioned within the town

Really great breakfest - great variety, good taste (reason - everything is fresh, homemade and from natural local products). One more plus - parking in the yard

It is clean, comfortable, well run and all at a very fair price. It is not a grand or smart hotel so don't expect extra frills

So I certainly will stay here when come to Jūrmala next time

We spontaneously called in during off season and the hosted us, super helpful family and nice accommodation next to the coastline. Highly recommended

Lovely place to visit, very friendly stuff

The owners were very nice and helpful, gave us good tips. Location was great - close by to the sea which is great for summer holiday. First night we were the only guests in the house, so plenty of space.

Great resort, small, not crowded, lovely restaurant with delicious food (morning Breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner according to the menu), rooms are renovated with 5th on 9th floor, the staff is friendly, treatments high quality

The pool with mineral water - just a delight, all around clean. If not satisfied with the set lunch, which is much better and cheaper than on the beach, serves a La carte
