Apart Hotel Tomo Free Parking in Riga

We stayed room number for two nights and the first room had German cockroaches, we moved to another room where the floor carpet smelled horrible. The whole hotel smelled worse than the outside hallway and the bed springs were coming through the back. The breakfast was poor and the customer service was anything but good. Anyone who goes there, which I don't recommend, check all your belongings before you take them home, these cockroaches will be an expensive bill for cleaning

Shocking experience. Stayed for 3 nights with my child. No shower gel or shampoo provided, only a bar of soap. I asked reception for shampoo so we could take a proper shower, and they gave me a tiny 10ml test-size hair & body shampoo. I said it was too small and asked for more, but was told “only one per person.” Seriously??? 😀
I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world, and I’ve never heard such nonsense — being limited to a single 10ml shampoo sachet per person. Absolutely absurd! Luckily toilet tissue is not limited (10 sheets per person 🙈)

I rarely write negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share what happened during my stay. First of all, when I entered the room, I was shocked to find alcohol bottles and someone else’s credit cards left behind. This is not only unhygienic but raises serious concerns about how well the rooms are cleaned or secured between guests.

Even more disturbing, the man who works at the front desk came into my room unannounced — no knock, no warning, and no sound at all before entering. This is completely unacceptable, especially from a safety perspective. I can’t stress enough how uncomfortable and unsafe this made me feel. This kind of behavior is incredibly alarming for anyone, but especially for women and children staying here.

There were also a lot of sketchy and unsettling individuals hanging around the hotel, which added to the overall feeling of unease.

I would absolutely not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families or solo travelers. Management seriously needs to address these issues before someone gets hurt.

Terrible Customer Service – Would Not Recommend

I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but my experience at Hotel Tomo in Riga was far below any acceptable standard and I feel obligated to share it.

Smelly rooms and corridors, no basic facilities, molded bathroom, and unprofessional staff. Housekeeping clearly doesn't do the regular job to benefit the environment but this endangers the health and hygiene of the guests.

I requested for clean towels, and the guy at the reception told me he didn’t know where the housekeeping key was. I suggested getting towels from other empty rooms. He claimed the hotel was fully booked which was not true. I work in the hospitality industry and I know there are always empty rooms for emergency. I immediately checked 'booking.com' and saw multiple room options. I showed them to the guy and he replied that it was a mistake by 'booking.com' 🙄🙄

The service at this hotel was shockingly poor. The breakfast was equally terrible. They didn’t even have basic items like eggs or honey — fortunately at least some cucumber and tomato.

Unfortunately, I was in Riga for training and the room was arranged for me, otherwise I would have left immediately. This place seriously lacks hygiene, comfort, and customer care. If you value your well-being, personality, or even just a clean place to stay, avoid Hotel Tomo at all costs.

I was delivering food to the third floor, but the lady at the reception told me to use the stairs, even though I saw a person coming off the elevator, so it wasn't like it was not working, I was just not allowed to use it because I assume they see couriers as less of a person than others. 🙃
And not to mention that the hotel didn't look good at all.

The most disgusting hotel ever! The food was dread-full and the rooms, no comment… Everything was dirty, it’s like the beds were made out of springs only. I’m just going to say, that this hotel is absolutely filthy and disgusting.

Without conditioner and in shower was one tube I think that was for towel is hot water and i burn my hand. Terrible condition 🤕

The worst hotell I've ever been to.the bathroom lights don't work,the tv doesn't turn on and there's trash everywhere.we called for help because of the lights,but the guy never came.you can hear through the walls and hairs everywhere.
