There are limited free parking spaces in front of the building. We were able to park in the side street. The interior of the hotel is a bit outdated, but the room was spacious and tidy. The hotel is located right next to the road, so you have to take into account light traffic noise. We spent one night in the hotel.

Clean and with good location. Not so modern and little bit old looking. Separate yard for car parking.

Give 4 because shower not good.

Friendly staff, clean room for a good price. Good cheap place to stay qfor a view days. Perfect if you want to explore the city beside of the well known sights.

Great location and our room had ensuite shower and toilet. Quite budget place with old and very squeaky bad. Impossible even to roll over without making a lot on noise. Good for a short stay but I haven't seen other rooms.

Were there as a group of four. The room was clean and big. We only stayed two nights so it was perfect. If you plan a longer stay it may not be the best option as the bathrooms and showers are shared and the beds are a bit squeaky. Other than that we were very happy especially with the location as it is directly in the city and you can reach everything from there. :)

The receptionist was amazing! Helped us out a lot, and is a very good person. We didn't realize that it was more like a hostel than a hotel

This hostel is located just exactly where the old town begins. Very clean and nice place. Stuff is kind and helpful.

I was here with our choir in 90s. its amazing place for me. A lot to remember. I adopted a little cat from this street near hotel and took to Ukraine. Called her like (I think it was a owner of hotel) Kristina. So if you know her say hello from me from Ukraine)

Quite economy ppace to stay 5 minutes away from beach. Rooms were quite small and parking quite busy.

The Sunset Hotel is a perfect base camp for adventures in Jurmala. Nothing too fancy but the receptionist Anzor will do anything that you can enjoy your stay. We had a mix up with our end of the reservation and they were still willing to keep good service level and I cant do anything but recommend Sunset for accommondation.

Perfect place to enjoy real spirit of Jurmala. Hotel is placed in old(renovated) house and it's located about 5 min walk from the Riga gulf.

Our rooms were located behind the main building in a separate building. Despite the outside looked outdated, the rooms themselves were very nice. Good beds and a decent bathroom. The breakfast was good, but not extraordinairy. We stayed in 2 rooms next to each other with 6 adults.

Great value for the money. Very comfortable, extremely large room. Amazing water pressure in the shower! I wish my airbnb was half this good. I’m very happy here and can highly recommend it. However! Be warned!! Google maps will put you on the back side of the building. Go around the block and you will find the entrance.

They mixed up our rooms. Also hot water was barley warm, very unpleasant to take a shower.

It's ok place to stay. Great location in very center of the town and has decent view out of a window and the room was clean. Only reason why I gave 3 stars is because they should not be classified as a hotel because they don't have active reception and they don't offer breakfast. It is good for the most money. It is not modern. But it works . And we could sleep and it was silent. Generally I recommend it.

If you are a student, or just a person on a budget and want to save money, it's a good option for you. It's very plain, but with cheap prices. We stayed in the cheapest rooms, and for us it was okay. Because we really were on budget. Simple 4 bed rooms, public toilet and shower on our floor. Very reasonable for us. Don't expect something too cool or comfortable.

We thought we would do a long weekend trip to Riga but decided to stay in the resort town of Jurmala. We close this hotel as it seemed to have character and be well positioned within the town. It is clean, comfortable, well run and all at a very fair price. It is not a grand or smart hotel so don't expect extra frills. I would recommend it.

I liked everything - excelent location, nice cozy room, nice view from balcony (pine trees, narrow street, going from center to the sea, resort type wooden houses,flowers aroud them and seagulls on roofs). Really great breakfest - great variety, good taste (reason - everything is fresh, homemade and from natural local products). One more plus - parking in the yard. So I certainly will stay here...
