Clean and nice rooms. Had no view from the room which was little disappointing. The breakfast was good and the facilities in general was nice. Location is perfect in relation to restaurant and Riga old town.
Renate in the restaurant bar did an awesome job serving us.
Emilia was amazing! Very hospitable and made sure I felt welcomed. She was kind, engaging, and had a wonderful conversation with me about Latvia, expressing appreciation for my visit and the volunteer work I do in her country. The hotel itself was beautiful, comfortable, and cozy. Emilia even upgraded me to a better room as a gesture of appreciation. It’s in a perfect location just a short walk to...
Amazing view and a great variety of cocktails. Would definitely return and recommend it to others aswell. Better to book a table in advance just to be sure to get a table with a perfect view to the city. Our waiter was Alex and he did an excellent job!
We had an amazing experience at the Sky Bar Restaurant in the Radisson Blu Riga Tower, thanks to our wonderful server, Alex. From the moment we arrived, Alex was incredibly polite, attentive, and professional. His warm personality and genuine care made us feel truly welcome.
He made sure our drinks were always served promptly, checked in at just the right times, and ensured everything we needed was...
Definitely one of the gem hotels I've stayed in Riga. There are so many good things to say about this location - where to start? First, you can park out front to check in or simply head to the underground parking lot (fee). When you come in the spacious lobby, you will have the dining area to the left (and bathrooms) and to the right is the lower bar and restaurant. The check-in desks are straight...
Clean hotel, very well located.
I didn't have breakfast, so I have no opinion.

Really good hotel!
We had a newly renovated room with balcony, coffee machine, couch and working space for remote travelers.
The new rooms are just amazing!
The view of the river and old town of Riga is really gorgeous!!
Also the room is perfect for longer stays and also good for people working with laptop. You have a big desk, a sofa and a great balcony which offers an amazing view. The room is...
Stayed in a Superior Room (#901) with a lovely view – the room was well-equipped and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located: just a few minutes' ride (under €5 with Bolt) or a 20–25 minute walk from the bus station.
The breakfast buffet had a wide selection – not great, not terrible – though some items like the pancakes could be improved (they were quite rubbery). That said, the staff at reception...
The places is perfect to get to old town easily. Breakfast was great. The room was clean and neat. And there was even pool table on one of the floors. 5/5. Though some people might have an issue with the sounds coming from the corridor since it isn’t very isolated. For me it was’t an issue.
We stayed for two nights with breakfast included, which was excellent – a wide selection and very tasty.
We had a superior room with a view, but the windows were either fogged up or frozen, making it impossible to see through them. The room itself was not modern and needed renovation, but it was clean. Also the radiator in the room could not heat the space - it was cold. The bed was super comfortable...
The rooms have huge windows and paper thin radiators. Thus the rooms are not heated enough. We were very cold during the night I had to put my jacket on the duvet. Maybe the locals are used to sleep in such cold rooms but I was not satisfied at all. Also the room door doesnt have insulation so if there is noise in the corridor you can easily hear it in your room. The room was very spacious and had...
Everything was wonderful — the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was attentive. The hotel is pet-friendly, which is always a big advantage for us, as we are travelling with our child and dog. The only small remark is that the bathroom seemed a bit dated for a Radisson-level hotel. Overall, we were happy with our experience and would gladly stay here again. Thank you for the pleasant hospitality

Checked in very late at 0300. Staff was available and was very happy to see a nice and clean room before me. The room was a good size, and very clean. The bathroom was spotless and the bed had no hair or anything. Great location to old town, within walking distance of everything. Only complaint I have is that the people above me sounded like they wore bricks for shoes! Was annoying to deal with, but...
We booked two adjacent rooms for our family of five (two adults, three kids). It was helpful that the rooms were next to each other, but they were not connecting. One of the rooms, meant for three beds, was incredibly tight and difficult to move around in, even though it was the same category as the other room.
I asked the receptionist if we could change rooms, even for a paid upgrade to something...
The forth night staying here given its strategic location: 5 minute walk to the bus terminal, 5 minute walk to the bus #22 to airport, while along the river and immediately into the old town.
Good breakfast choices that all I need.
Fantastic hotel. Great location, rooms very clean, spacious and perfect for city break. Highly recommend breakfast- so much choice
Hotel is located by the riverfront. A short walk to the old town and the central market. Our rooms were at the adjacent building. 4406 is not spacious but for 2 nights, it's fine. We all liked the rich varied breakfast.
Would definitely stay here again.
Beds are amazing, slept so well with a thick mattress topper.
Breakfast is a feast with lots of choices of cooked and cold options. Breakfast gets so busy around 9.30am, so arrive before and bag a good table with some relative peace and quiet.
Spa is also a great experience, probably one of the best in Europe. It's not big, but lovely material finish with no damage and well maintained.

Just got back from our stay at The Grand Poet, everything about our stay was wonderful. The staff where friendly and very helpful. The spa was very nice and we had a wonderful full body massage. Would recomend The Grand Poet to anyone visiting Riga, also a great location as only a short 10 minute walk to the centre of the old town.
I stayed at Grand Poet on the night of 14 November, and honestly, it was a solid experience from start to finish. The staff deserve real credit — they’re professional, helpful, and actually attentive, not just pretending. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-kept.
Breakfast was the highlight. There were a lot of options, everything tasted fresh, and it didn’t feel like the usual “hotel buffet...
Great stay at Grand Poet. From the moment we arrived the staff were super helpful. The room was immaculate, in fact the whole hotel was. It looked brand new!! We really enjoyed being able to use the spa everyday. Breakfast was one of the best we have ever had! Location was superb, right next to a beautiful park and couple of minutes walk into the old town. We made use of the electric scooters parked...
Everything here was so beautiful!
The spa is small but atmospheric; if there are many children, it can feel a bit full, but otherwise it’s lovely and relaxing.
Breakfast had absolutely everything you could wish for; the sparkling wine and Pavlovas were a delightful touch! Our room was cleaned perfectly every day, and the option to have breakfast in the room for a small extra fee was such a nice luxury...
Absolutely loved my stay at the Grand Poet Hotel in Riga! The design of the hotel is simply amazing — modern, stylish, and full of character. Stayed for 4 nights - the hotel is in an excellent location for exploring the old town.
Rooms average size for a city centre hotel (on the smaller side) and perfectly clean with a well equipped bathroom.
The breakfast buffet was underwhelming and I didn't particularly look forward to it, but served its purpose.
The room was really hot, which meant we constantly needed the window open, which then...
Nice and modern hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast good and there was something for all. They didn't clean the room if you don't put a "please clean the room" tag on the door handle, I find it interesting but understandable.
A nicely appointed hotel with bar restaurant and lifts to all floors.
Friendly helpful English speaking staff.
Our room on rhe 4th floor was quite noisy early morning as it looked out towards tram lines road and railway line. Handy for town centre.
Poor soundproofing; rooms on the streetside very noisy; trams, cars, busses, trains go all the time, people talk/yeal outside (bars near).. It's 1.15am now and still up. Never been to a hotel with this much noise from the outside. Also from the corridores you can hear if people talk and walk.
Other hand the location is good; near shops, restaurants, shopping centre, sights, old town and more. But not...
Comfortable rooms , slightly small however expected for city centre.
Breakfast was great . Excellent options for children including chicken nuggets and smileys. Sparkling wine also available.

I didn't stay here but just came gor the spa. €15/p.p for 1.5 hours.
They had 2 tubs with jets each one was 34°c. They also had a steam room with aroma therapy it was 45°c and a very hot sauna at 80°c.
It was clean and had lockable lockers and 2 showers.
I enjoyed myself and would recommend.

Very nice and spacious rooms, hotel staff are constantly tidying up your rooms, providing chocolates and water. The main issue I encountered in this hotel was that their WiFi wasn’t stable, and I wasn’t able to have my online meetings properly. Tried switching to my own mobile data but network was bad too in the rooms.
I was upgraded to an Opera view room which was really very nice. Clean and smart hotel, really enjoyed having use of the complimentary spa facilities each day. Staff were all incredibly helpful.
Riga
The hotel is very nice, especially spa and pool area. The rooms are comfortable and a good size, very clean and very well taking care off as the whole hotel. The stuff is very friendly, warm, helpful, and accommodating.
Cannot comment on the breakfast and restaurants as we did not use them. Overall will happily recommend it to other travelers.
A very large hotel, ideally located right next to Riga's Old Town. The rooms are modern and comfortable, and there's a good Asian fusion restaurant.

Not very clean. I took on discount (then it was worth to pay), but not on full amount. Premises are not very clean. For 4* hotel I was expecting more. The spa is tiny but nice (p.s. be careful when you go in shower during spa. The walls have not been cleaned). The room was casual. In room and spa I noticed water problems - when a person is taking shower, the water is not going away easily. The spa...
Stayed here from 1st–2nd December (weekday trip). Good hotel overall with a surprisingly strong SPA for this price range.
SPA — 5/5
Very clean pool and jacuzzi, great lighting, calm atmosphere. Open until 21:00. Best part of the stay.
Room — 4/5
Clean and quiet, but the shower cabin is a bit small and as a couple we received two separate single blankets instead of one double, which felt strange....
Excellent location, helpful staff, good breakfast.
The only disappointment was having to pay extra for access to the spa (which needs to be pre-booked, by the way), but it was still worth it.
Would probably stay there again, if I come to Riga again.
Very nice hotel with a good location. Parking was €20 euro per day so slightly more than expected
Expectations met, not exceeded. We had a four-night-stay in Riga. On the arrival we were checked in instantly. Our room was on the side of the inner yard so it was quiet and nice and clean as in the photos. In our bathroom, inside the bottle labeled "hair condition" was clearly body lotion, not hair condition so I accidentally "conditioned" my hair with lotion 😂 We visited the spa twice and had some...

The location of this hotel is perfect; it’s just a 10-minute walk from both the central bus and train stations, and less than 15 minutes to the main tourist spots. I particularly liked that the closest malls are only 2 minutes away, with numerous restaurants nearby. The cleanliness of the hotel is excellent, and the staff are nice and polite. I was also pleasantly surprised by the well-designed sauna...
The breakfast was very poor, the room was full of trash when I checked in, there were no slippers or a robe and they weren’t given to me when I asked, there were no toiletries in the room except for a shower cap and shampoo.
Everything was great, except for the shower water, which could have been hotter
The location was good, most tourist spots were within walking distance and there was a shopping mall nearby, so it was convenient. The room was clean and the check-in and check-out service was also good.
Location was good, very convenient to explore Riga. There’s lots of places to eat out nearby.
Clean, friendly staff, comfortable beds and pillow was great(overslept 😀). Definitely would come back
There is a dismissive receptionist named J…zaveta, who rejected my reasonable requests. She called herself a supervisor;-) I don't know how and why the hotel hired her! There is another receptionist Le…s, and he was a very service-minded, helpful, friendly and nice person. He was the only reason I stayed at the hotel - because. Underwhelming. The general hotel is nice but the rooms are quite modest and the housekeeping service was spotty — no soap in the shower, missed service one day of two. Located across from a nice park but not near the old town. From desk staff were the highlight though — very nice and friendly.
Good location, nice breakfast we enjoy the stay

I like this hotel, peaceful location close to center, nice big room. Always clean
Excellent service at a good price. Very happy!
Had quite a rough stay this time around because of a party being held in one of the rooms or conference halls. Had a very bad sleep unfortunately. This was after paying a lot more to upgrade my room. It’s a bit outside of the Riga downtown so the benefit for it is free parking!!! And you can see the view of Riga old town from another side of shore~

Decorated an event in the hotel's restaurant, the staff was super nice and the coffee was tasty as well. Location is great, too.
Generally speaking the location of this hotel is OK. Free parking is a big plus but it will heavily now depend which side of the hotel you get your room. If it is street side then even with closed windows the noise of loud. If its towards the parking side, its quiet as a grave.

Staff were very nice and welcoming. The hotel itself wasn’t good at all. The walls are paper thin, I had someone next to my room coughing and snoring all night, all in all in 3 days I had maybe 8 hrs of sleep max, there’s constantly someone walking around the hallways shouting, which again isn’t the staffs fault. Kim provided truly exquisite service during my stay at Radisson Blu Rīdzene. Professional, attentive, and genuinely warm in his approach, he made the experience feel effortless and personal. His positive personality and dedication stood out and had a real impact on my stay. I will definitely return because of him.
The hotel is quite good. Convenient location between two parks and next to the Old Town, just a 5-minute walk away. Friendly reception staff and efficient check-in. The room was generally okay, but it could have been cleaned better; the walls were very dirty in several places. However, the bed, bathroom, and floor were clean. Breakfast could have had a wider selection, but it was tasty.
Ridzene is a bit "older" by their staff description... But it is well kept, has a super nice staff, and great breakfast (similar in choice and quality to what I recall of Rad Blu Latvia). Gym/sauna 24 hr, quiet as it is not the casino and conference center, but right across the park!
Could it have been a kgb hotel, backed up to the old usa embassy??
We arranged a small training conference in this hotel and the quality of service was very good.
The rooms are clean, the food is delicious. The breakfast hours are long, which is great.
The meeting room was arranged in the way we requested and the hotel staff constantly supported us throughout every step of the process. The catering during the breaks was always on time.
The location is perfect,...
The room was comfortable, but the hotel itself feels quite dated with a '90s charm that may come across as uninviting to some. The location is excellent. The breakfast is more basic than other Radisson hotels, but it's also less expensive. This is a good option if you want a comfortable stay without a high price tag and don't mind a nostalgic '90s vibe.

The beds are very hard and the AC was not adjustable (except the fan speed but I'm still unsure if it was actually cooling or heating...). You could open the windows but it was quite noisy from a nearby night club.
Breakfast was ok. Not the best selection...
This hotel is fabulous. The location is perfect for exploring Riga on foot. The room was very spacious and the ensuite was large and had a really good shower. The complimentary bottles of water which were left every day were a nice touch. The noise from the trams didn't bother us too much.

A lovely hotel - stories of noise from the tram are greatly exaggerated unless you’ve very sensitive hearing! Shame the restaurant and bar are closed every Sunday and Monday as sometimes you just don’t want to have to go out and explore.
A lovely historical hotel. Great location and clean, charming, modern rooms. Excellent breakfast and breakfast mimosas for those wishing to start their day off with a kick!
Excellent coffee as well. Check out at 12noon was also a great comfort for us as we were taking it slow

The overall layout of the hotel is compact and reasonable, suitable for self-driving travel and parking is safe and convenient. There is a large shopping mall within walking distance, where you can shop and have some restaurants to choose from.
Very cost-effective, good location
We spent three nights at the hotel, in three different rooms and I can say that it's a good hotel with great location near the old town. On the top there is a restaurant with stunning view of the river and old town. It's so romantic. The hotel rooms are comfortable and clear.

Great location. Excellent breakfast. Old interior. Small and old TV.
Entrance to foyer is up about 10 STEEP steps with inadequate handrail. Be warned if you are wobbly on your feet, no one will help with your cases. Bus guests made breakfast a real nightmare. I have never experienced a breakfast like this anywhere in the world.
Peaceful hotel in a really beautiful area. We had no view from the junior suite but it was clean, quiet and spacious. Good location next to river and old town. Ok breakfast. Very comfy beds. Seevice can be better. Parking 25 euro for 24 h. Breakfast 25 per person. Deposit 100 euro for a room which almost has nothing inside was interesting.
Very good service Upton arrival and the location was very good. No noise and quiet for sleep. The breakfast was very expensive (£25 per person) but overall a very good experience and nice hotel room to stay in.
The room was really clean and nice, and the location is very near attractions so it’s very convenient.
Hilton would be my favorite choice while traveling, and the Riga branch is fantastic which located in the heart of the delicate old town, it’s walking distance to most of the landmarks of Riga, and the environment of the hotel is undoubtedly comfortable with reasonable rate, love it!!!
Staff are friendly and forthcoming. Rooms are well cleaned and tidy. I asked to change the room, because the aircon seemed a bit noisy, and got it changed immediately, no questions asked, to a quieter room. The breakfast was excellent, too -- with some Latvian dishes, e.g. "shproty" (sprat).

I stayed at this hotel for four nights and had a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic—right in the city center, with everything just a short walk away. There's a shopping center right next door, and the hotel offers excellent accessibility from the airport. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made my stay even more enjoyable.
Breakfast was nice; I recommend going early in...
Rooms are good enough, mostly clean, but housekeeping is only every 2 days, which you are informed about only at check-in. Comfortable beds. Bathroom with no curtains (!), not sure who enjoys taking their shower in full view of the rows of office windows in front.
No box with paper tissues in the room: this adds to the general feeling that the hotel tries to cut costs, and corners, like with the understaffing...
Had a great stay here. Location is excellent just by the train station and close to bus 22 to airport. About 15 mins walk to old town, which is also great. The room was comfy and big enough for me to have my things and also be able to walk around.
No stupid glass door to bathroom so loved that!!
Breakfast is OK but would have liked more healthy options such as oatmeal and sourdough bread.

The staff was really friendly and attentive. That is not just cause they agreed to not charge me for parking for writing a review. The location was pretty good for not being in the old town area. Old town was about a 5-10 walk from the hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good, not great but had plenty for what I needed. This is probably the best place you can stay...
A fantastic place. Close to the center and well located overall.

The property is under renovation, the whole floor and my room is with all the furnitures or renovation smell. It’s not a pleasant feel when you walking on the corridor to the room as some areas are renovating and some room doors are open and the furnitures all putting outside the corridor. Staff were excellent and very kind + professional. Facilities were very clean and modern. Location was perfect. Fitness suite is quite small but has all essential equipment and is fine for a quick workout.
Overall great stay. Great location to the old town. Excellent breakfast. Good ,clean, tidy hotel. Small gym and spar area, but did the job. Helpful and professional staff, who accommodated our need for a later check out ,at no extra cost.
We were also allowed to store our luggage, after our check out.
We would visit again.
The bartender is a very experienced bartender and makes the best cocktails. The hotel is located in the old town of Riga and around the hotel you have alot to see and do.
We had an amazing stay!
Great location in the heart of the Old Town. The restaurant was lovely—I especially enjoyed the dry-aged steak and the attentive waitress. The bar had a nice vibe, though it’s more of a cocktail bar than a typical 5-star experience. There’s no formal drink menu, but the young bartender crafted unique cocktails based on my personal taste, which was a refreshing experience in drink culture you don’t...
