We had such a wonderful stay at the Michaelson during our trip to
klaipeda. The hotel was beautiful and the location was walking distance to everything. I would have loved to try the spa, but it was a short trip and there just wasn’t enough time, but it looked beautiful.

Boutique hotel in unique building, easily walkable to centre, bike hire and ferry to Curonian Spit. Well-equipped rooms Excellent breakfast (though book to avoid any issues), friendly front of staff house. Not a major issue but rooms can be quite warm in mid-summer (I didn't see any air conditioning controls or a fan), and the shower drain smelled a little, but easily sorted with some bleach. I've stayed here multiple times and will do so again - it is a lovely place and the staff are very helpful so the feedback doesn't detract from a really enjoyable stay. Thank you.

I stayed at MICHAELSON Boutique Hotel for three nights and really enjoyed it overall. The room was cozy and well-designed, and I loved that the windows could be opened for fresh air – a big plus for me. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and I slept great every night.

The spa was also a highlight – warm water, beautiful stone elements, and a relaxing atmosphere. However, the price is a bit steep: €30 for guests and €60 for non-guests.

The only downside was breakfast. I chose the €20 meal set and was disappointed – portions were tiny (especially the fruit salad), and while the eggs were good, the bun was so small that it threw off the balance of the meal.

Amazing hotel
Breakfast is made to order, restaurant-quality, and absolutely delicious — beautifully presented, too. Kudos to Linas! The interiors are renovated from a very old warehouse, featuring wooden beams from Venice. A+ for the designer! I'm an experienced traveler, and I can confidently say this is a top-tier hotel. Oh, and yes — the location is perfect!

This was by far the best hotel we've stayed at so far. The staff were very welcoming. The room was cosy but classy. The bathroom was quite large and the shower was a really roomy walk-in/wet room style which was great. We visited the spa which is simple, but has everything you could want as well as complimentary refreshments (tea etc). Breakfast is pre-ordered with a waited table service (not a banquet style), but we actually prefered this as our breakfasts were individually prepared for us which I feel is much nicer than standing around an industrial toaster with a bunch of sleepy Germans. One thing that made the hotel stand out for us was the lack of children. It was really nice not to have other people's kids running around everywhere when you are trying to relax, I really wish there were more spas like this. The hotel is also well situated for the old town, Klaipeda Castle, and for the passenger ferry for the Curonian Spit, but not so close that there is any loud sound; It was a very quiet location.

I saw some other reviews about temperature in the rooms. Yes, it's true there's no aircon. However, we visited when it was 26 degrees c outside and we slept just fine without needing to open the window or use the fan that was provided. The other thing people seem to mention is that it's not kid freindly, but for a childless couple like us that was a huge advantage and one of the reasons we'll be coming back.

I had a wonderful stay at the Michaelson Boutique Hotel in Klaipėda. The location is absolutely perfect — right on the riverfront, offering beautiful views that make mornings and evenings especially relaxing. It’s within easy walking distance to the Old Town, yet tucked away just enough to feel peaceful and exclusive. The building itself is charming, blending historic character with modern comfort. The rooms are tastefully designed, very clean, and well-equipped, with large windows overlooking the water — a lovely bonus! The staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay.

I have been last week for a night and fell in love with the hotel and especially the sauna. Perfection in every detail. Well done to the owners! It's inspiring!

Beautiful hotel in a good location (5 minute walk to old town). The room and bathroom were large and well furnished. Everything looks new.
