Amberton Hotel Klaipeda in Klaipeda

The hotel is classified as a four-star hotel but do not be fool by that as the service is far from a four-star one. We stayed for three nights and housekeeping never came to clean our room, although we put the marker on the doorknob to please clean it. When we booked we did it since there is a wellness center in the hotel, but we were not notified that we still had to pay 5€ per person to use it. Also, the receptionists in the spa are terrible at customer service and unfortunately that made the whole experience unpleasant. Breakfast could also be better considering this is a four-star hotel.

4 STARS hotel with no crossaines and bacon on the breakfast table? Are you kidding me? Location is good, service is so so but breakfast was terrible like for 4 stars hotel. Also the bar on the roof is super overpriced! The menu is poor too nothing to eat there.

Very dishonest hotel experience. They charged me for items that I did NOT take from the minibar. This feels unfair and misleading. I do not recommend this hotel if you don’t want to risk being overcharged or treated unfairly.

I would recommend to avoid this hotel at all cost if you arrive by car.

They charge money for parking while parking is terrible. Its very narrow and has very steep turns. I damaged the bottom of my car trying to drive into parking. Before going to reception to complain I checked reviews in trip advisor for this hotel if something like this happened to anyone else. The very first review in tripadvisor from August 2025 says absolutely same thing that visitors of this hotel damaged their car in hotel’s parking lot. I went to speak to the manager in reception and I pointed out that they have very recent and same complaint. I asked why they dont warn visitors about the parking. Manager said that this happens rarely and she cannot do anything about it, didnt even offer to compensate me 12 euros for parking. This keeps happening and they dont even bother to warn their clients. You pay for parking and end up fixing your car.

The staff was rude. The receptionists communication were mockingly.
For the first time staying in the hotel were so many problems. TV is not working well, the quality is really bad. There's no Soundproofing at all, I can hear the phone vibration from other room.
We paid for parking and still Parking barrier for my car wasn't working, i had to call everytime then i needed to go.
At the breakfast I asked the staff something, and I was guilty for asking. And they didn't manage number of people at breakfast. It was full and tables were dirty.
In the end our room card last 20min before check out stopped working. And again needed to call, and they never NEVER for any situation did not say sorry, or something like that. It was feeling like it is your problem, you are guilty for staying here.
Ill never stay at Amberton again.

When I order a room I read nice description: "Guests can enjoy a game billiards, work out in the fitness centre or simply relax in the hot tub or sauna, as well as use electric scooters for free. They are also welcome to visit the on-site spa centre and an indoor pool for an additional fee. Front desk staff is available 24 hours a day and can arrange for concierge and room services."

For me was important to know that I will be able to make some training and relax in the hot tub for the price I pay. My wife called before booking and got confirmation that this information is correct. But in reality there no free fitness and no free hot tub. I have got SPA ticket for next day from 10 AM to 2 PM which I cannot use due to my planned next day. Sad expirience...
