It’s a self check in and there is no-one on site to process your payment after the stay. Even so they mention they accept cards, the only way they accept payment after is bank transfer which only possible unless you local. Busy place with sound travelling easy so make sure you have earplugs for the night. Unlikely will ever use them again.

If you're on a budget, it's a good place to stay. However, you need to make sure you've been in contact with the property prior to check-in to receive the needed information. Lack of parking was also a minus. Overall, very clean, quiet, and convenient.

The managing director tried hard, but seemed overwhelmed.
Yellowish stains and hairs on bed covers. I don't want to say that the bed linen wasn't washed,
but the stains made it look like that. I found the general condition of the building to be poor. I don't need luxury, but it has to be clean and tidy.

Basic, no frills place to sleep
Our family of 4 (2 boys ages 10 & 8) stayed at Kastytis for one night while visiting Nida. We stayed in the room with 2 double beds, a bathroom and a fridge. We had to wait about 25 minutes for them to get our room ready, but it was clean after they finished. There was no parking available and we had to park on the street about 1 mile (1.6km) from the hotel. Overall, it was an okay place to stay if you are just looking for a place to sleep.

Clean and cheap stay in Nida.

Nice place for short summer vacation) It's located in a picturesque and quiet part of Nida, not far from the central part of the town. There's no problem finding this place. The most important thing is that you stay on the green hill with a marvellous view - seaside, forest, old church and... old cemetery. Thomas Mann Culture Centre and Amber Gallery Museum are in a 5-minutes walk from the hotel. You can reach the Centre with a pleasant 10-minutes walk and a 20-25 minutes quick walk for arriving to the Dunes and open sea. The hotel is designed for the summer holidays Rooms are equipped with a bed, a kettle, a small sink, a little fridge and a portable heater. It is wet and cool here in April-May so it would be better to visit Kastytis in the summertime. Showers, bathrooms and a communal kitchen are outside. The kitchen is quite good, clean and equipped. You can find all you need to prepare the food. Price - it seems overpriced for such a room but Nida is one of the rather expensive resorts and it's a quite nice price here. You can compare this place with another one. Moreover, the owner proposes a discount on Airbnb. Thanks staff for their hospitality and openness) Fresh air and tranquillity. My recommendation)

We stayed here on a Baltic tour unfortunately only for one night. We reserved the room with bathroom. When we arrived we were first sceptic. Check-in was so different from other hotels, the reception staff was more like a friend to us, showed us the room, explained everything necessary. Reception closed during the night, and we agreed how to check out as we had to leave earlier. The room was old, but we slept so good. It was so cosy and comfortable, and the nature around was absolutely quiet during the night, really relaxing. Sometimes it is a bit disturbing hearing the other hotel guests, but even if you feel disturbed by this hotel provided earplugs. Parking was available down the hill on a official city parking lot for a small fee, the nights were free. From the hill where the hotel is located you have a very nice view towards the sea, and down the hill there is the lovely town of Nida with all the restaurants and some shops. We will for sure come again and stay longer as we felt that Neringa area is anyhow for some reason totally underrated. It is really worth a visit, and Kastytis will be our choice.

Just spent a month at this incredible place, and couldn't recommend it enough! It's perfect for a quick weekend getaway, a week long holiday, or even a sabbatical to get those creative juices flowing.

LOCATION
It's located on the more quiet end of Nida, which I really appreciated. 10min walk away from the grocery store, 25min walk away from the sea. You'll find yourself at the top of a hill surrounded by trees - a lovely hideaway.

ROOMS & AMENITIES
This place is a minimalist's heaven. Rooms are equipped with beds, sinks, closets and a kettle. Bigger ones have small fridges. Bedding is warm, so great for late summer/early autumn stays.

It has a communal kitchen, which is spacious and has loads of equipment. Including waffle and jaffle makers, and blender sticks.

Bathrooms and showers are accessible from the outside, but nothing like a starry night to put you comfy back to sleep.

Lots of tables outside to have your meals, or simply chill.

Everything is kept clean and tidy at all times. I never had any issues or felt like something was lacking.

STAFF
Hospitality was great! Lovely staff, always available on premises and ready to help.

The only con is that you never know who are your neighbours gonna be. But throughout my stay it was only on one occasion that I had to tell someone off for being loud into the late hours.

Overall, I'll be coming back for sure!

Big thank you to Agata and the girl in “Jordan’s”.
