Reviews
Yellowish stains and hairs on bed covers. I don't want to say that the bed linen wasn't washed,
but the stains made it look like that. I found the general condition of the building to be poor. I don't need luxury, but it has to be clean and tidy.
Our family of 4 (2 boys ages 10 & 8) stayed at Kastytis for one night while visiting Nida. We stayed in the room with 2 double beds, a bathroom and a fridge. We had to wait about 25 minutes for them to get our room ready, but it was clean after they finished. There was no parking available and we had to park on the street about 1 mile (1.6km) from the hotel. Overall, it was an okay place to stay if you are just looking for a place to sleep.
LOCATION
It's located on the more quiet end of Nida, which I really appreciated. 10min walk away from the grocery store, 25min walk away from the sea. You'll find yourself at the top of a hill surrounded by trees - a lovely hideaway.
ROOMS & AMENITIES
This place is a minimalist's heaven. Rooms are equipped with beds, sinks, closets and a kettle. Bigger ones have small fridges. Bedding is warm, so great for late summer/early autumn stays.
It has a communal kitchen, which is spacious and has loads of equipment. Including waffle and jaffle makers, and blender sticks.
Bathrooms and showers are accessible from the outside, but nothing like a starry night to put you comfy back to sleep.
Lots of tables outside to have your meals, or simply chill.
Everything is kept clean and tidy at all times. I never had any issues or felt like something was lacking.
STAFF
Hospitality was great! Lovely staff, always available on premises and ready to help.
The only con is that you never know who are your neighbours gonna be. But throughout my stay it was only on one occasion that I had to tell someone off for being loud into the late hours.
Overall, I'll be coming back for sure!
The actual place is much better then the description.
Big thank you to Agata and the girl in “Jordan’s”.
Strongly recommend to visit.
