Great hotel with an excellent location!
The location is perfect, very convenient and close to everything. The rooms are excellent: spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. The bathroom was very clean, with clean plumbing, which is always important.
We really appreciated the bathrobes, plenty of towels, slippers, and the full set of hygiene amenities, everything needed for a comfortable stay was provided.
The only small suggestion for improvement: it might be time to renew the towels, as they look a bit gray from long use. Otherwise, everything was great and we enjoyed our stay very much.

We were returning guests to Le Dream Boutique Hotel, the location is perfect the front of house staff are most welcoming, and house keeping will definitely look after your needs. On the occasion of my birthday day the staff presented me with a chocolate cake I was just so overwhelmed with the kindness and thoughtfulness of that gesture 🙌

Good:
Nice hotel. Good area. Airco was working. Hairdryer, room dark for the night, good bed, enough space, nice bathroom

Better:
Room was clean what you can see, under the bed and chair it was really dirty. We found glasses from a formal user of the room. They were lying there for a long time.
Breakfast: took the continental breakfast. Took a long time to fix it, scrambled eggs not warm, beans cold, etc, RM 25 is really too much. For this money you can get a much better breakfast somewhere else.
Free juice in the lobby was every day empty.

We checked in early but rooms were not ready, so we left our luggage and steoll around the town before going back late evening. Rooms are comfortable with basic hygiene, drinking water, TV, wardrobe with hangers, spacious bathroom. Two room cards provided with limited access to your respective room floor only. There's rooftop bar with 2 public jacuzzis, but seems like no other patrons except us when we were there. View of The Top (Komtar) can be easily seen from here.

To improve: Consider replacing worn-out tables/ chairs. The heater takes some time to reach desired temperature (hot) and water pressure dropped in the evening.

1. Cockroaches were present.
2. The soundproofing was very poor; traffic noise was a bit loud, and the TV from next door was also noisy.
3. The water heater wasn't instant; you had to turn it on and wait a while for hot water.
4. I didn't request a morning call, but at 6:50 AM, the room phone rang, and a staff member said "good morning" to me. 😑
5. When booking, I requested a superior room away from the elevator, but I was given a room on the first floor right next to the elevator.
6. The room was only for two adults. When I booked, I specified two adults and one child. Upon check-in, the staff said children are counted in the occupancy, so an extra fee was required, but they couldn't add an extra bed.

Room is relatively big and location is good with all the good eateries nearby. Each room also have umbrellas for wet weather. Only drawback is the jacuzzi is abit dirty. Staff service is good.

No complaints. The restaurant was also a nice touch’s but expensive. Overall can’t complain some noisy people in the hotel but that’s not the hotels faults

A nice place to eat in 1st avenue mall.
I find the food just okay, nothing special.
If you want authentic Penang food, just step out of 1st avenue and walk a few minutes across the road under the hot sun and u will find yourself a nice authentic Penang food across the road. Price is almost the same too.

Food court at 1st avenue shopping mall. Good place to stop by after shopping (grab a drink and snack while resting)
