Pros: Good location close to the airport, if proximity to the airport is important. Clean place. Simple breakfast included. Room is nice. The check-in is until 23.00 but because of flight delay I arrived 15 minutes later and they were very accommodating. They also helped with ordering taxi to the airport next morning.
Cons:The bed is seriously very uncomfortable, not recommended for people with back-problems. The windows and walls are not soundproof at all, it was so noisy as if the windows were widely open so not recommended for light sleepers. My room was at the 3th floor with no elevator. Breakfast finishes early.
The good: Staff were genuinely friendly and attentive. The service was definitely the highlight. The room was clean, and breakfast was decent for a hotel of this size. The morning staff in particular were amazing and really stood out.
The not-so-good: Noise is a real issue. Even after switching from a balcony room to one behind the main road, it was still quite loud. We could hear the TV next door, and at 4am someone was shouting from upstairs to get reception’s attention. Definitely not ideal if you’re a light sleeper. There was also a noticeable sewer smell from the toilet. The bathroom layout (no separation between wet and dry areas) made things less comfortable, and we ran out of toilet paper.
Overall: You more or less get what you pay for. By Maldives standards, it’s still value for money. Just don’t expect a quiet or fully comfortable stay.
The lobby makes a good first impression — and that’s where it ends.
The bed was as stiff as a table, and you could feel every spring pressing into your body. My dog has a much better bed than this one.
The balcony door is barely a door at all — it doesn’t seal properly, so the room is insanely loud. It feels like sleeping on the street.
The bathroom was very dirty and there was fungus on the door. After all of this, I wasn’t brave enough to try the breakfast.
Avoid this place — it’s terrible.
