The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed. The food was excellent—fresh and delicious. One of the highlights of our trip were the snorkeling and diving excursions. The hotel’s team made sure we had an unforgettable experience. We also loved the private beach and yoga sessions. The staff deserves a special mention—they were always friendly, attentive, and made us feel at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and eco-conscious getaway in the Maldives.

We just spent 10 unforgettable days at this hotel in the Maldives, and it was truly beyond all our expectations. Even though you’re far from home, the staff makes you feel like family. The level of care and attention they provide creates such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The Maldives can offer different kinds of experiences, but this one was exceptional: calm, relaxation, and a variety of breathtaking excursions from start to finish. What makes this island so special is its tranquility, away from crowds, with incredibly kind staff who go above and beyond. The buffets are absolutely phenomenal. I’ve stayed in many hotels and experienced countless buffets, but the food here is on another level – every meal was a delight. We did over seven activities during our stay, and every single one was incredible. I wholeheartedly recommend trying the excursions; they’re worth it. This trip was an experience of a lifetime, and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. A 1000% must-visit destination!

From the very nice welcome at Hanimadhoo airport to the pleasant short journey on the island and the resort itself, we felt very comfortable from the very first day. The staff were really super friendly and always went out of their way to meet our expectations. The surroundings were simply fantastic. It was an estimated 20 steps from our room directly to the sun lounger on our own beautiful white beach. The water on the first day was like in a bathtub, only even more beautiful and above all more turquoise. Every day you could book various excursions, which were really very exciting, including snorkeling with turtles or watching dolphins, so in short, the offer was very varied. The stay in the room was very comfortable, especially the bathroom was very nicely decorated. Massage, opportunities to work out as well as yoga before breakfast were offered. The crew were just so lovely. So, in a nutshell: simply wonderful and very relaxing.

Beautiful nature, lovely waitress always making sure we had a nice time. Overall just friendly people. Especially Victor made us feel home at the hotel. Such a kind person. Always clean in our rooms. Great food options as well Lovely boutique with so many amazing products.

The beach and the pool are really nice and all the trips were great. I loved the trip to the sandbank and snorkeling (swimming with mantas) it was amazing. I recommend all the trips and the tour guides were super professional and friendly. I also enjoyed the massages at the hotel and the yoga classes in the morning. It was excellent. The rooms are clean and the resort is beautiful. Thank u for all the nice memories.

The Hotel exceeded all my expectations! Their dedication to eco-friendly practices are truly impressive. The rooms exuded natural harmony, creating a unique atmosphere of serenity and relaxation. I must highlight their cuisine – made from fresh, natural ingredients, we are focusing on healthy eating and found a lot of options for us. I thoroughly enjoyed every treat and was impressed by the variety of vegetarian and vegan options. It was my first trip to the Maldives. I chose the hotel based on Tripadvisor reviews and never regretted the choice I made. This location is suitable for people like me - who need a quiet, uncrowded place where they can get closer to nature, and for those who care about nature. The rooms were quite good. I booked seaside room, but for the first 4 days I stayed in ocean view room, it was a gift from the hotel. The food was good quality, though not too varied. The hotel and services are well described in reviews from other tourists, in my review I would like to thank the hotel team. These were very friendly, kind people who were ready to do everything to make your stay comfortable. I'm very grateful to everyone: the chef, waiters, tailors, reception staff, diving center staff, bartenders - all were beautiful people, ready to help at any time! I especially want to thank the receptionist Victor. Victor was always ready to help on all issues, even willing to sacrifice his personal time to make your vacation better. Since I was alone on vacation, he offered to accompany me on my first bike ride to the village, he always came up and asked if everything was okay. Hotel managers, please reward him for his dedication to work! :) I have the best impression of the hotel, its employees and Hanimadhoo Island, I will definitely come back here again and hope to see familiar faces! p.s. for those who is going to the Maldives for the 1st time - take good care to protect your skin from the sun!

The Barefoot Eco Hotel made our stay unforgettable and so wonderful. We have already been to other islands. But this time everything was very, very good!!! Daminda Ranasinghe Reservations Executive and Diksan Wijerathna Reservations Manager did an excellent job - they helped us choose a room, explained the conditions for transfer to the island, answered all questions quickly and in detail. Thank you! Every morning at the restaurant we were greeted by Sozib with a kind smile and greeting in Russian. This is how our every day began and it was very pleasant. Sozib personally served us and was always attentive, neat and caring. Thank you! We liked the beach - such large, clean and soft sand. The delightfully clear ocean has an extraordinary color, shimmering in all shades: from dark indigo blue to transparent turquoise. And a lot of fish. Delight! Dear The Barefoot Eco Hotel team!
