Lovely holiday home with a great pool area in the center of Victoria Close to all the amenities. Perfect for a family holiday.

We’ve enjoyed our trip to Gozo in this quirky restored farm house. we didn’t really have any major issues, however there was a damp smell under the sink and in the downstairs toilet, the showers were honestly a trickle and the oven took hours to heat up.

Lovely villa, full of character and in a fantastic location to explore Victoria and the island of Gozo. A short walk (10 mins) away from the main shopping areas, restaurants and bars.
Very nice pool and outdoor area. Kitchen reasonably basic but has all you need. 3 large bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Villa was very clean on arrival. Also has decent wifi.
I’m rating the Villa 5 stars as we loved it so much, however there were a couple of issues. The TV picture was terrible and washed out, probably needs replaced. Biggest issue was the mattress in the double bedroom. Slept on it the first night and it was so soft it was almost impossible to sleep. If one person moved, it would wake the other person up. For us, it was no problem as we moved to another room after the first night. Those beds were much better.
The island of Gozo has so much to see and do, the scenery is stunning.
Victoria has some amazing architecture (not least, the stunning Citadella, 10 mins walk up the hill from the Villa) and we loved exploring during the days and evenings, interacting with the really friendly locals.
Overall, I would thoroughly recommend Girardu Villa.

What a fantastic villa, full of charm and character.
You won't find mod cons, the kitchen is a little basic and there are a few 'issues' like the mattresses, which are in need of an upgrade - niggles that, had they been in any other property we had spent time at, would have been a problem. With this place though, it simply adds to the overall experience.
Complete with arched entrance, spiral staircase and a load of nooks for the kids to explore, this is certainly one of the more memorable villas we have stayed in.
A nice sized, secluded pool and only 10 minutes walk from the centre of town, it was perfect for a short week in Victoria.
