An excellent four star hotel on the Harbour in Gozo easy for the ferry five minutes walk away and only 3 miles from Victoria in the centre of Gozo, the staff give the hotel more of a local feel rather than that of an international brand.

Common areas could be cleaner, example when you exit the lift in 5th door. Staff members 5+

It appeared that hotel was under renovation, so it should be going in the right direction.

No hot water, bed was itching, no shampoo or body soap.

What a lovely experience my wife and I had at the Gozo Hotel from the 6th to 9th December 2025. Beautiful Island, Hotel, and Staff. Service second to none, food was fantastic, hotel was immaculate. the location is okay and the seaview is amazing. But the swimming pool is quite dirty.

The room was large with good amenities; fridge, kettle, bathtub, balcony, AC heater etc. The furniture was stylish with plenty of drawers and hanging space. The buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice of hot and continental dishes. I had a double room at the back of the hotel away from the bay, quiet but WiFi was a little slow. For the price I would stay there again.

Breakfast was edecuate with fresh fruit etc but the hot part was a bit on the cold side.

The room was large, but quite far from the elevator. There are many rooms on one floor. The balcony overlooks the harbor, and yachts for day trips dock right outside the door, which is very convenient, but reservations are required in advance. There are many restaurants nearby.

Spent six nights here at the Calypso in November. Great location with some fantastic walks along the shore road. Rooftop terrace with pool and the rooms with a seaview were the reason why I booked. Would stop again.

I went 30 minutes before closing and there wasn’t enough variety as expected. The room was spacious, and all in all we had an enjoyable stay.

The staff were incredibly friendly. The cleanliness was impeccable. The breakfast was quite good. It's very close to the sea and has several restaurants nearby. There's usually street parking, and if it's full, there's a parking garage across the street with reasonable prices.

The hotel room was really nice with everything we needed. The location is great with just a minute walk from the bay and near supermarket and a bus stop. Only the breakfast could have a few more choices (like slices of cheese) but it was not bad. Overall great stay 🙂

The Oceanview room is incredible overlooking Xlendi Bay. Everything is at the doorstep including great hikes and viewpoints. The room itself is older and dated with only 2 plugs for gadgets. It's tiny, quite cramped and the bed hard. Very average room but very clean with lots of hot water. The TV is old and only Maltese channels available. However the WIFI is good. The room was a bit small and the double bed was two mattresses pushed together, making it uncomfortable to sleep on; otherwise, everything was fine.

This is Victoria's best kept secret. It is a lovely, well kept clean hotel with good facilities very close to the centre of town and all its attractions. It has a roof top pool and a soft play zone for 3-11 year olds. Rooms on the rear are quiet and have country views. Very comfy bed in large clean room. Good facilities and clean.

A straightforward functional hotel. My room was austere but clean. Air conditioning worked and I slept well. This hotel is a good value base from which to enjoy the rest of Gozo. Its immediate location is not particularly attractive.

Frank was a wonderful host. He gave us many excellent recommendations for places to see and eat at. We were impressed with every single recommendation. The apartment is well situated within walking distance from the port and with a bus stop very close. We used the bikes at the property and cycled all over Gozo. Perfect mother daughter trip, only regret is that we didn't book a longer stay.

Wonderful boutique hotel in central Victoria, Gozo. Very unique rooms in an historic structure. The Host/Owner was very nice and accommodating. A different tasty, localized breakfast each morning. Easy walk to everything in Victoria. Plenty of shopping and restaurants/cafes nearby. The church bells can be a little much. Note: The Host uses WhatsApp.

Isabelle and Patrice are extremely welcoming hosts. The property is beautiful, the location is perfect for visiting the Citadel and all the bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance. The rooms are pretty small, a bit dated, but very clean. Not bad, considering the low price (at least in the off-season). The included continental breakfast was quite good, a nice variety of options including meats and eggs.

A lovely, cozy hotel in Marsalforn on Gozo. The staff are very attentive to all guests, the rooms are spotlessly clean, and the breakfast is delicious and of good quality. There is a small local beach with nice water, and a large sandy beach, Ramla, just 20 minutes away by bus. The island’s capital is also 25 minutes from the hotel. This is probably the most charming little place among many towns.

We arrived late after a long day hiking in February and they opened for us. The most comfortable beds and the best breakfast of our trip. They served the usual eggs, ham, toast etc plus local pastries and homemade marmalade. Lovely family run hotel on the seafront.

Wasn't our first visit however it was very disappointig to find the lack of upkeep in the hotel - Thinks that required fixing/replacement three years ago still haven't been fixed, no reception so we couldn't point this out. Otherwise the Hotel location is very central and Breakfast is decent. Probably won't visit again.

The Hotel is very clean and well kept. Our room was very comfortable. The breakfast had a wide selection to choose from. The staff were excellent and courteous. I would highly recommend. A lot of restaurants surrounding the bay were you can have lunch or dinner and enjoy the evening.

Position of the apartment is close to ideal, just by the see, facing east... In the mornings you have the privilege of enjoying sunrises over the sea and in the afternoons and evenings you can enjoy in the terrace without strong direct Sun. We had an excellent stay. Having a very clean apartment, Friendly and helpful staff which make you feel at home. Wifi is sometimes not very strong although it might not be that important. We went May June and July, we enjoyed it all, the staff were very helpful, the pool has sea water which we prefer, the rooms are big and have a kitchenette, and most of all the Internet is good which some hotels do not have or you have to pay for it. Definitely we come again.

We had a beautiful, clean and comfortable room with balcony on the Piazza, just lovely.
