the location is okay and the seaview is amazing. But the swimming pool is quite dirty.

The room was large with good amenities; fridge, kettle, bathtub, balcony, AC heater etc. The furniture was stylish with plenty of drawers and hanging space. The buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice of hot and continental dishes. I had a double room at the back of the hotel away from the bay, quiet but WiFi was a little slow. For the price I would stay there again.

Breakfast was edecuate with fresh fruit etc but the hot part was a bit on the cold side.

The room was large, but quite far from the elevator. There are many rooms on one floor. The balcony overlooks the harbor, and yachts for day trips dock right outside the door, which is very convenient, but reservations are required in advance. There are many restaurants nearby.

Very nice hotel on a perfect location! A far more quiet village than on Malta island. Friendly staff, beautiful Bayview room with balcony. Clean and comfy beds. Breakfast was awesome with cakes and pastries!

Spent six nights here at the Calypso in November. Great location with some fantastic walks along the shore road. Rooftop terrace with pool and the rooms with a seaview were the reason why I booked. Would stop again.

The photos posted on the hotel's official website were quite different from the actual hotel, to the point that I couldn't recognize it. In reality, the hotel interior was very nice, and the front desk staff were very warm and considerate when I checked in. I even saw her busy in the restaurant at breakfast the next day. The staff were incredibly friendly. The cleanliness was impeccable. The breakfast was quite good. It's very close to the sea and has several restaurants nearby. There's usually street parking, and if it's full, there's a parking garage across the street with reasonable prices.

The hotel room was really nice with everything we needed. The location is great with just a minute walk from the bay and near supermarket and a bus stop. Only the breakfast could have a few more choices (like slices of cheese) but it was not bad. Overall great stay 🙂

Lovely stay, great breakfast, great location Very enjoyable stay. Great location around 100m from the sea with easy access to other places by the bus stop down the road. Great breakfast options. Only downside we had was construction ongoing across the road which was loud during the day, but didn't start until after we'd woken up anyways.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff, in the perfect location!

The rooms are pretty small, a bit dated, but very clean. Not bad, considering the low price (at least in the off-season). The included continental breakfast was quite good, a nice variety of options including meats and eggs.

Although the rooms were very clean, they were rather small. Very close to seaside shops and restaurants. Our stay was 3 nights.

A lovely, cozy hotel in Marsalforn on Gozo. The staff are very attentive to all guests, the rooms are spotlessly clean, and the breakfast is delicious and of good quality. There is a small local beach with nice water, and a large sandy beach, Ramla, just 20 minutes away by bus. The island’s capital is also 25 minutes from the hotel. This is probably the most charming little place among many towns.

We arrived late after a long day hiking in February and they opened for us. The most comfortable beds and the best breakfast of our trip. They served the usual eggs, ham, toast etc plus local pastries and homemade marmalade. Lovely family run hotel on the seafront.

Wasn't our first visit however it was very disappointig to find the lack of upkeep in the hotel - Thinks that required fixing/replacement three years ago still haven't been fixed, no reception so we couldn't point this out. Otherwise the Hotel location is very central and Breakfast is decent. Probably won't visit again.

The Hotel is very clean and well kept. Our room was very comfortable. The breakfast had a wide selection to choose from. The staff were excellent and courteous. I would highly recommend. A lot of restaurants surrounding the bay were you can have lunch or dinner and enjoy the evening.

Amazing balcony and spectacular views. Spotless apartments with great kitchen and full range of items needed. Showers were fab and staff lovely. Directly on a bay with access for swimming, bus stop and stroll in town. Highly recommend.

Stunning balcony view. Room decor very tired and desperately needs redecoration. Staff very friendly. Unfortunately, our bedrooms were next to the restaurant kitchen extractor fan which was extremely noisy and unpleasant until the early hours of the morning. We asked the staff if we could move to another apartment but there were no others available. As a result we left a day earlier than planned

Can't remember when we first visited Horizon but it has become part of our life. Simply the best views on Gozo with the best located restaurant and the most attentive service. Kind owners polite staff excellent food and roomy elegant Gozo styled accommodation. Damien Edwards.

Position of the apartment is close to ideal, just by the see, facing east... In the mornings you have the privilege of enjoying sunrises over the sea and in the afternoons and evenings you can enjoy in the terrace without strong direct Sun. However, the apartment itself is quite outdated, wooden furniture which is not my taste. Perhaps someone who likes it, will enjoy it. Other cons are; you can not...

We had an excellent stay. Having a very clean apartment, Friendly and helpful staff which make you feel at home. Wifi is sometimes not very strong although it might not be that important. The food from Horizon restaurant underneath the apartmemts is very good also served with a great service. Views are impeccable and in a quite area.

We stayed here in September 2025. I was with a group of friends driving for a few days around. The guest house is well situated, a short block back from the seafront and near to all the dive shops and restaurants. It’s a converted townhouse over four stories with a few rooms largely furnished in traditional style with private bathrooms. Breakfast was very good in the morning and they looked after...

Beautiful, extremely central ( the beach is a two minute walk), very welcoming and clean guesthouse. The room was nicely furnished with clean crisp sheets ,good quality mattress and pillows. Breakfast was well balanced with a good variety of fresh fruit, yogurt, cakes and breads. Sonia, the owner, was very welcoming and polite. Great value for money. Will surely return. Sonia and her team are fantastic. Everyone works really hard to ensure that you have an enjoyable stay. Breakfast is awesome with hot and cold options as well as fresh fruit and local pastries. The rooms are immaculate with room service everyday this was our second stay and we shall definitely return soon.

From the very cordial and helpful check-in, right up to the very welcoming and friendly attitude during breakfast, to the general cleanliness of the whole building and rooms. Sonia and her dad make you very much at home. Top attitude. Would surely not hesitate to return again as it feels very much like home. Bravo!

Absolutely fantastic guest house right in the centre of Marsalforn. Sonia, the hostess, is a wonderful, pleasant and caring person. The rooms are fairly small but perfectly functional and amazingly clean. The shower was very good and the surrounding area is quiet. Breakfast is excellent. There’s a special of the day or you can basically have what you want. All cooked fresh to order. Really enjoyed...

Had a lovely stay. Apartment spacious and well equipped. Good location. Lovely family, the water is boiling - my husband sustained a painful and extensive burn to his back and bum from the shower. Worried if this happened to a child

Me and my wife stood at the lantern guest house for 7 nights and the only thing to say about this it was absolutely wonderful. Joseph and his family are so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very delicious everything there you need for a good start in the day. You want to stay in marsalforn at gozo go there. Nice clean rooms and just perfect for enjoyable stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay. Shower was great and room good for my one night stay. The air-conditioning works with coins. I opened the balcony door and the window in the toilet, the cross breeze was enough for me to sleep.

Very nice and charming family-run guesthouse. Cosy and nice rooms, well kept and good cleaning. Excellent and very caring staff, always there to make you feel cared for in every way. Great breakfast, served in the most charming breakfast room.

Clean hotel Very clean and centrally located. One block away fomr the harbour lined with restaurants. Bus and groceries one block thr other way. Good breakfast too.

Very friendly and helpful in getting me checked in after very late arrival around 3am. Great location super close to beach, restaurants and bus stop. Comfortable and clean room. No major noise heard from nearby restaurants nor traffic going past in the road although I was on first floor and some noise from breakfast room does carry if you're looking for a lie in.

After a long trip we stayed in this wonderful place. Absolutely gorgeous. New furniture, well designed. We had all we needed. Besides the location is great, parking places available . Our balcony was with nice sea view. All was just perfect.

Our stay at Electra Guesthouse was just perfect! We had a double room with a private bathroom and balcony overlooking the ocean. To our delight, towels were refreshed and our room was cleaned spotless daily. Considering the prices of other accommodation we stayed at in Europe - this was by far the best value for money and an absolute bargain. Yes you have to pay extra for AC, but of course you do when...

The reason for this star rating is because the Manager was amazing and so was the room... Has for the Service received for Breakfast no Stars... No Menu was offered , Waiter had Bad Attitude, Breakfast not even that edible... Would I stay there again No Ways

A decent stay.. Nice accommodating staff..break fast included in the bill and its worth .. you need to carry coins for A/c ( i am not sure all rooms followe the same system) if you are person with walking difficulties ask before you book only thing lacking a lift

Only had meals there and the breakfast was very good. The chef obliged when we asked for something off the menu ... smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Yum. Had their pizza one evening and wouldn't write home about it.
