Staying here is like stepping back in time. Boutique hotel located in a former bastion where the rooms are large and well appointed. Staff was engaged and friendly. Location is superior for exploring Bormla. Ferry to Valletta was so easy to get to just a 5 minute walk. We will stay here again.

Fantastic hotel in a lovely location that overlooks a harbour. Food and service are excellent. There is a ferry to Valletta a 5 minute walk away. We stayed over New Year and enjoyed the celebrations on the rooftop. Highly recommended, thank you for a lovely week away!

Great large room. Great view. Very well kept and appointed. The location is perfect. Close enough to enjoy everything but away from the crowds. We highly recommend this historic hotel.

Warm welcome and fast check in. The room was ready even though we arrived several hours early. Fabulous large room, spotlessly clean. All staff were excellent but Nena at breakfast was absolutely brilliant and thoughtful. Beautiful location perfect for exploring and catching the ferry to Valletta. We took the penthouse apartment in a typical stone built building quirky decor and layout and fabulous views over the harbour. We took breakfast on our private terrace each morning looking out over the water. Staff friendly. Easy access to great restaurants and museums

A quirky old Maltese house. Very clean and comfortable room and bed with lovely harbour views. The roof terrace was lovely but the lighting was all from the floor upwards and made seeing to walk around rather dangerous. The staff were extremely helpful, and although we arrived early they put our things in the room and even put my food in the fridge. We were really really pleased with this apartment,it had everything we needed,very clean,comfy bed,lovely shower,clean towels daily if we wanted them and the lady kindly cleaned bathroom and topped water up. For location, this gets a 10/10. It is legit right next to Upper Barrakka Gardens in Valletta where you can see amazing sunrises and sunsets (in November, at least; not sure about the rest of the year). Ferries depart at the bottom of the Barrakk Gardens's elevator so if you take any ferry, like to Gozo or Three Cities, it's super convenient. An amazing apartment overlooking Upper Barraka Gardens. Such a fantastic location to walk around Valletta. The apartment was very comfortable and quiet and the host was responsive. The bed was very comfortable and thoughtful touches were included - tea, coffee, water etc. The room was also serviced daily. The small hotel with few apartments was in an abolutely fine location - just inside the old city and next to peacefull upper barrak gartens. Room with an OK interior - a bit old / outdated but fully functional. An issue was handled within hours - fine. Bathroom fine and the large bed really good. Internet connection super.

It is ok for one night stay. The location is very good for exploring Three Cities of Malta. The room with bunk bed is small, also the bathroom is very small. The balcony is supertiny. The breakfast was ok but did not look and taste like freshly made.

We booked this flat at booking! I was so surprised, it’s really nice place! The host Jessica is so nice! She checked us in earlier, cause we arrived before 15:00. I take showers, not baths, so it was a challenge to shower in a bath tub without shower curtain. I hope you’d consider putting one up. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable stay!
