Room service menu needs work. They also need to invest in new towels.
Check-in was actually delayed by over 17.15 minutes.
Excellent location. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and modern. Resort stunning
We really enjoyed our stay. It offered good value for money, and overall, we recommend it.
We stayed for 3 nights and had a very good experience. We were upgraded to a superior sea view room on floor 10. Very good size and in excellent order. The decor is very traditional with mahogany furniture. Suits us very well. The hotel Is situated a short distance from Valletta in Floriana but due to its location on a hillside requires a significant negotiation of steps and a steep hill climb to the...
Lovely hotel, staff very good and friendly. Service at pool very good one day and very bad another day. Lovely to be able to swim in Med from man made beach...could make it more comfy under foot. Very close to valette entry bridge.... 5 min walk.. Outside toilet out of use and disgusting but not blocked off and no signage. Wasn't a nice find! Jacuzzi too cold....same as pool.

The room is very satisfactory, the service staff is very enthusiastic, I will come again next time
Great 5 night stay. We used the spa and indoor pool daily and the grounds and outdoor heated pool are simply fabulous. You need to book the spa but it is included for guests not charged extra like some hotels. The breakfast was very, very good. The staff at this hotel are truly outstanding and really represent the very best in guest focussed hospitality.
The Phoencia is a wonderful hotel. All of the staff are courteous, efficient and friendly, and they all seem happy in their work. The rooms are spotless and the restaurant is excellent. A special mention to the restaurant breakfast staff who work very hard and were very busy on Sunday, but made the time to clear a prepare a table in the conservatory.
I decided to celebrate my birthday here and I had an amazing experience and pleasure stay. Not only the hotel itself is beautiful, but also the staff and their services are amazing as well. From receptionist, all staff around lounge, room service, breakfast service, garden staff, then to management, I can say that Phoenicia did a job well done keeping their staff professional and well mannered which...
the room was excellent, the servie was good and the location too
I attended a conference at The Phoenicia Hotel and was impressed by the well-equipped meeting facilities and the attentive service. The lunch provided was excellent, showcasing fresh and flavorful dishes. During a brief break, I explored the hotel's stunning garden, perfect for relaxing walks. The infinity pool, nestled against the historic city walls, offers breathtaking views of the harbour, making...

The three stars are for the fantastic harbour view, the cleanliness of the room and the politeness of the girl behind the desk upon arrival. That's where it ends. Beds were very noisy when you move on them which meant not much sleep was had as we were constantly woken up by the nise and how it felt when moving on the bed. The main reason we stay is to have a good sleep. This place couldn't deliver...
Friendly hosts, clean throughout, great views of the harbour (from penthouse rooms), comfy beds. No toilet door, if you are squeamish, one of you will have to go and wait on terrace. Added dawn and daytime view from penthouse room terrace Will definitely be coming back
Out if this world room and service. Cannot recommend it highly enough. The Jacuzzi was a god send after the long flight. The room was comfortable, cozy, clean and modern. The balcony had an amazing view of the harbour. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. Too plentiful! I was not hungry the rest of the day! If I am fortunate enough to return to valletta I will be staying here!
It’s our second time here and we love this hotel and the view from our room. The beds are comfortable & Air con good. The breakfast buffet is fine with lots to chose from but for two days there was no fresh bread and some rolls were very hard. There are cooked breakfasts available at a small extra cost. This is a wonderful hotel on the water front & close to the shops & restaurants and we will come...
Wonderful panoramic view. Staff very accommodating and enjoyed stopping off for a coffee or two between work meetings. I didn't stay at the hotel so I cannot comment on that aspect.
Great location but the single room I stayed in was very basic and a bit grungy. However, the ensuite had it's own water heater, so I never had any problems with the water unlike other guests in more expensive suites.

Cozy, elegant, and sleek. That’s how I would describe the room that I stayed in. The king-size beds, the absolutely gorgeous antique patterned tiles, bespoke urban furniture, and luxurious bathroom equipped with gorgeous rain shower are fit for a First Lady.. Also, the striking views from the balcony are something I absolutely fell for.
Cosmo hotel 💎Literally a gem in the heart of Valletta. 🌿If you are a lover of inner courtyards , patterned tiles and old stones then this is your perfect vacation home! ⏳When you enter the building you feel the beauty brought by centuries. 📷All the architectural features don’t fail to captivate the eye and make you feel that you want to capture every single corner of this boutique hotel. 🗝The mix of...

I just came back from my stay in Valetta! The location of this hotel was very good, also beautiful view from the rooftop. The room was also very clean and spacious. Big thank you to Shaun at the reception who was super friendly and helped us figuring out what to do in such a short time (1 day). Only negative point was the breakfast which was okay but could have been much better!
Fantastic location staff very friendly spotless .I've never seen a hotel polishing elevators before. How this is only a two star hotel beats me I've stayed in 3 and 4 stars that were not as nice as this hotel. Was in 6th floor duel aspect windows so view of harbour and view of city. What a great find this hotel is. Also very quiet hotel but bustling area
We had a great stay at this hotel. The 24-hour reception was very convenient, and the staff were extremely friendly. Our room was spacious with a balcony, a clean bathroom, and a comfortable bed. The air conditioning worked perfectly. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here
Good Hotel. The hotel has an excellent location within the Old Town and near to restaurants and attractions. The rooms were basic, but had everything necessary. Breakfast was simple and nothing special. Was good value for money and would recommend. The views from the rooftop are similar to from nearby viewpoints.
First Class Location and Staff are Professional and So Helpful. We arrived Early of a Cruise Ship and Left the Bags and staff were so Accommodating. The Room was Amazing and the hug Balcony had the Best View of the Harbour Ever. The Next Day we had a First Class Breakfast and it was Perfect. We were Flying out at Night so again the Staff sorted the Bags until we returned at 5.09pm. Could not have asked...
The stay at the hotel was priceless, and whoever booked a sea-view room and rated it lower than 5, should have an eye check-up! The room was super clean and bright, with a coffee and tea setup. There was one European outlet/Europlug/ so we didn’t have to buy an adapter. I was a bit concerned about a spring mattress bed, but it was comfortable. So glad we booked this hotel. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Right in the heart of Valletta. Breakfast included on the rooftop was delicious too. Would highly recommend staying here for Valletta.
First I want to say thank you to staff in hotel. Was very kind, friendly and helpful. Some ideas what to see was very helpful. Rooms, comfortable beds, nice clean. Breakfast on the roof was nice with lots of local food. From hotel was easy to go to ferry or bus station, under 10 minutes. This hotel is a gem! Very well located, small breakfast but very tasty. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is very nice, gentle and always ready to help. The only downside is that there is no parking but if you don’t rent a car, you will fell no difference. I highly recommend this hotel.
Came across the hotel in one of the apps and admittedly was a bit hesitant to book at first, thinking that it might be too loud since they are located at the very central part of Valetta. I was proven to be wrong, it was a very comfortable, stress-free week with them. The staff are very friendly and approachable, from the concierge to the kitchen and cleaning staff. During our first breakfast at the...
All in all pretty good. Friendly helpful service. Nice local breakfast. One disadvantage, please be mindful when you book a room with Maltese balcony(more expensive), it can get pretty loud outside. It's an old and small hotel. I think it's well-cleaned. I booked it because I thought the beautiful wallpaper and light blue door in the photos looked cute and castle-like. It's great that it's so close to the city of Valletta, but there are a lot of steps to get into the hotel, so it's hard to carry a heavy suitcase, and the front desk is also very small! Beautiful hotel, stunning interiors and lovely bathrooms, the roof pool and bar are great too. Staff are lovely
Extremely convenient location (but no car park - you can park at one of the free car parks about 10 mins walk). Beautiful room and charming staff. The spa and massage sessions were solid. The rooftop bar was nice and inexpensive. One criticism: The breakfast was a little average and the coffee was absolutely appalling. That said, the manager was really lovely and was certainly a star of the restaurant

Great location, very convenient for Valletta and the ferry to 3 cities. Lovely roof terrace with pool, bar service and view of the Grand harbor. Breakfast was terrific, a mix of local dishes and brunch classics. Highly recommended.
The hotel is well-located with bars and restaurants nearby. The room was nice with AC. Minus points for the unfriendly welcome that we got at the start, the many times encountering staff in the elevator and entrance hall without getting a smile or “hello” and the ants in our hotel room bathroom. For the price, you expect a bit more. The pool is nice in the morning but gets increasingly hot and oily...

Excellent experience with some room for improvement. I give them 4.4 out of 5 for the amount paid The highlights: -direct booking process was super flexible and adaptable -location cannot be beat -standard check in is 2pm which is early compared to industry standard -I think we got upgraded to 501, a gorgeous terrace suite. Loved the location. Close to both ferries, walking to shops and restaurants. Our first room was spacious as we paid for the most expensive room. The hotel is in the center of the ancient town. The location is excellent. The rooms are beautifully designed. The service staff is enthusiastic. There is a beautiful swimming pool on the roof. The scenery outside is very beautiful. The night view is very beautiful
Sound from restaurants in Room 205
The room is nice and well-equipped. The window faces the inner courtyard, so there is no view, but it is relatively quiet and nice. The breakfast is very rich and the view from the roofbar is unbeatable, you can see the whole Valletta. The only drawback is that the hair dryer is too difficult to use
We had an incredible stay at the Embassy Hotel in Valletta, Malta. The service was exceptional—every need we had was met promptly by the friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel. Quick stop here for dinner with views. Beautiful roof-top bar and pool, amazing view. Luxurious interior decoration and lots of friendly staff at the roof top bar. Delicious food, great ambiance after a busy long day. Recommended for a few days stay in Valletta.
The hotel was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. I requested an early check-in through booking, and although it wasn’t confirmed via email, they said they would do their best. situated in Ursula Street which is already a Touristic attraction. Merisi Suites has lots of apartments, some with a really nice balcony. There is an elevator, a washing machine which is free of charge, a swimming pool with a fantastic view. The apartments have Airconditioning and are fully equipped kitchen. Very clean and Organized. Very nice Located.
Very very good location but the place was not great. Room we got was on a ground floor. It didn’t have any view or direct sunlight. There was a mold/ watery/ moist smell in the apartment and the shower was broken so they just put the shower courtliness which I hate and it made entire bathroom wet. I would only recommend it if you care about location but not about place you sleep in.
Beautiful!! The host/owner made us feel like we were home. The history and elegance of the rooms and setting were fabulous. Fresh homemade breakfast in the grand room, makes every guest feel special. Only a handful of guests are at the Palazzo Suites at a time. We will certainly be back to Malta...and when we return we will stay here again.
Absolutely great. Frank , the owner, welcomed us with such hospitality we immediately felt at home. Mike or Misha (short for Michael, Mikhail?) was very helpful. We stayed here in October for a long weekend. It is gorgeous and right in the center of Valletta. All staff are attentive and wear masks as per covid regulations. Breakfast is served in your room, based on your preference. We look forward to visit again, hopefully in the coming months!
So close to 5 stars. I've stayed here twice, the staff is superb, really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very nice and well thought out. The rooms are clean and vibrant and unique.
